Primed Shred is the Primed version of
Shred, which increases both fire rate of Primary weapons by 5% and punch through by 0.2 meter per rank for a maximum of 55% and 2.2 meter at Rank 10, respectively.

- This mod first became available on July 24, 2017 UTC.
- As with other Daily Tribute rewards, it can not be traded.
Notes[]
- This mod is significantly more powerful than its normal counterpart when stacking a maxed Metal Auger, increasing overall punch-through up to 4.3.
- The fire rate boost increases charging speed of chargeable weapons and the drawing speed of Bow class weapons.
- Bows receive double the fire rate increase from this mod unlike other primary weapons.
- Primed Shred costs slightly more than Metal Auger, but gives a slightly higher punch through bonus along with a fire rate bonus.
- In a matching polarity mod slot, both Metal Auger (

damn, I wish I'd gotten this mod earlier. I've played without Sure Footed for so long that I mostly know how to avoid most knockdowns anyways, and it's probably only useful for those extremophiles who do endless scaling content. On the other hand, Primed Shred is amazing for any rifle-type weapon -- it's a multiplicative damage increase not only in rate of fire, but also if you hit multiple targets.
I guess I'm stuck with peasant Shred for another 150 days...
I agree, get Primed {Fury,Shred} are much better mods for folks not fighting Levelcap 9999 enemies.
Correct, it's only at super high levels that Eximus procs get so ridiculously powerful that a knockdown almost guarantees death making P Sure Footed a must have.

Im nearing day 500, they plan to move primed mods to 500 days and the weapon to 600 days. Does this mean if I pass the 500 days now, ill miss this mod for another 200 days. And if I quit the game now, Ill reduce my wait to 30 days?
The current plan is that on each Milestone you will be able to pick your reward (excluding cosmetics). So if you want to wait until Fortuna drops with Daily Tribute 2.0 then you can, but who knows how much longer until said update will come. It'll likely be more worth your time to just keep logging in as normal.
I'm currently at over 1k hours and under 220 days of daily login, still so far away from any real tribute reward lol.
Just going to throw this out there... If it takes 1 minute of your time to log into warframe to get your daily count in, then it will take a total of 10 HOURS of JUST logging in to get this mod. While that isn't real work, that is a fat chunk of time nonetheless...

game is relatively easy, the mod isn't quite necessary, and understandable they want to reward loyal players, but man... 600 fkin days... Had put more than 1000 hours into the game before the daily login rewards, now I can play drastically less, and less consistently, but I still play. Aaaand still have 400 days to get this, meaning i can't have it in the foreseeable future is somewhat infuriating after spending years with WF

Do the log ins have to be consecutive or can they be any 600 logins. It takes 1.64 years to get this reward.

The problem these days is this generation is all "I want, I want" but don't want to work for it. The Developers made the reward system for a reason and its simple. "Stay loyal to the game and We'll reward you for it". We should all be greatful that they even do that. Most games dont care, they just want your money. *cough* ESO *cough*
It's an awesome mod that'll open so many more ways to be creative with your loadout.
Work for it? Logging in isn't work. This is a long ass wait. DE themselves have said they are planning to change the login reward system. When this happens who knows but pull your head out of your rear acting like you worked for this mod.
It does take work to earn this mod, I'm in a leadership position in a clan with an inactivity rule of 7 days and people frequently miss logins. Despite it taking a few minutes each day to login. The login system reflects how warframe is as a game in terms of getting from mastery zero to mastery 25. Time and effort, you don't get everything instantly unless you're going to pay through the nose to buy a lot of platinum.

I have 2,5k hours in warframe, Im spending money even if I dont need to just to support devs (shitloads plat from trade), Im a founder playing since beginning. Still I have only 480 day login reward. Why? Because I had few breaks and didnt log daily after they introduced this. And I dont even want to talk about new players, this is like big "fuck you" to them.

Bro, Primed Shred is Extremely powerful.
It's basically Speed Trigger + Metal Auger on the same mod, which benefits A LOT on most primary weapons. How could you say that Primed Shred is bad?
