For some odd reason I'd rather if this was an Exilus mod.
This mod would be very nice to have in early game. Shame you'll probably be mid game by the time you get this mod so you'll already have a decent way to regen.
I'm enjoying it as a "poverty" option on some frames I want to mess around with while not investing in them at all. Depending on what companion I feel like running + what energy options are built into a frame, this can be really nice QoL
There's lots of missions or situations where you want to keep abilities up and don't want to have to kill enemies and or heavily invest into energy to get it. "Heavily" to me means using anything besides this mod.

Does kinetic plating get affected by this mod?
I'm pretty sure they work independently of each other - kinetic plating converts blocked damage into energy instead of giving you regen.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this mod make Chroma basically never worry about having enough energy for his abilities? My PT build has 116 drain and 60 s duration on Vex Armor, meaning that he'll get 180 energy back by the time it needs a rebuff, and with this he'll have more than enough energy right? Unless it for some reason doesn't generate while a duration ability is active, which I doubt... so, if I get this I can probably switch Arcane Energize out for something else (probably Arcane Nullifier lol)

I really don't understand why people keep bringing up ivara and this mod. It does not work with ivara's prowl, stop spreading lies. This mod is absolutely uselss on every single frame currently in the game. Energy hasn't been a issue in so long.
This mod is useless on Ivara and Mesa because they use channeled abilities. It's perfect for duration based abilities, where you aren't spamming constantly. And its free energy without having to do anything. If you can't see situations where that is huge, then I don't know what to tell you. For example, EDA, lots of dangerous enemies you don't want to engage with to get your DR back, low enemy density, enemies that also don't drop energy that much, and liminus guys around draining if you get near, and you can forego an arcane and flow. Yes its better than both on some builds. So parkouring around, not near enemies, fills your energy. How is that not useful? Before you'd have to drop pads or kill.
EnErGy IsNt aN iSsUe - says every person running zenurik, flow, energize, or nourish and acting like that's optimal for every frame and build, when that actually is useless if you can more optimal from one mod. But I'm so glad people feel this way.
Its perfect for Ivara lol, im using it on her, once i run out of Energy i keep running around till i get Energy to cast them again.
You guys dont know how to use it with her, Ivara Naigator cost a lot of Energy as time goes then when Energy reaches 0 you dont have to wait too long with this mod equiped to regain energy while using normal weapons and even her Bow.
I have been farming for this for months in effervo using a mod drop chance booster plus steel path, yet have not gotten even a single drop. am I doing something wrong? or am I just extremely unlucky
Got like 5 over the past days while just doing 3 to 5ish runs of bounties every day to cap the standing. just unlucky. Just kill the explody diamond guy (anatomizer) and voidrig whenever they show up.

Generally efficiency and duration are the only things that will reduce (or potentially increase) the energy drain on channeled abilities.
Rage and Hunter Adrenaline can also work.
^ that one is different thing, like energy squad gear, it exchange/refill, not a regenerate

I got it just now from doing the Fragmented Achnorite boss in steel path. Dropped from the enemy
I just go it on a rogue voidrig (necracell mission).
This is good for builds with Nourish. Possibly as an extra util mod for other builds that don't use much energy.

Depends what you mean by "high level content". Level cap endurance runs? Sure. But health tanking is definitely viable on Steel Path content, e.g. Mot, Kuva Survival, Zariman bounties, Cavia bounties. Half an hour survival on Steel Path? No problem at all. An hour of The Circuit? No problem.
Agreed, Oberon prime with adaption and arcane guardian can shrug off more then a few blows, Just remember to occasionally dodge and block.
Wait, you guys need energy? I just put ability efficiency in and have no issues with just the orbs eximi drop.
Hunter adrenaline practically shovels in energy for my juggernaut kullervo build
This + Equilibrium + Dispensary = literally impossible to run out of energy. Though just Equilibrium + Dispensary is enough as long as you pay attention.
FYI this mod gets disabled during constant drain abilities like Prowl, just like every other form of constant energy regen does, so still no infinite Prowl. There again, Equilibrium + Dispensary solves that though.
Of course you could also just use Lavos and have no reason to care about any of this. Just a thought.
I have infinite prowl with my Ivava without equilibrium or dispensary, I just have an efficient build. Energy orbs drop from enemies is enough to top energy up.

Best to think of this as a sidegrade to efficiency mods like streamline. While streamline and fleeting expertise will allow more spamming in a short while, this mod ensures that even if you get unlucky with energy orbs or other means you are guaranteed to be able to use your abilities in time. Its the same reason why zenurik is so popular for energy regen.
Good for Ivara's invisibility builds... that's about all I use it for
I am not sure I read that correctly but Ivara's invisibility is a channeled ability therefor any energy regen will not work while the ability is active. Even with that all said with prowl opening for finishers and the drain being below soo tiny you really do not need it for ivara.
