Arcane Battery is an Arcane Enhancement for Warframes that increases maximum energy per point of armor, up to 1,000 additional energy.

Acquisition
Arcane Battery can be obtained from Ascension's optional Sister of Parvos, summoned by acquiring 3 Sister Beacons during the elevator ride. Alternatively it can be purchased from Ordis in the Drifter's Camp for 10
Vestigial Motes, for a total of 210 for max rank.

It will deplete to your max energy before buffs.
100 energy cap frame gets armor buff, increasing cap to 300.., EV reach 300 cap , armor buff expires.. energy 300 for a few seconds then drains to 100.
Tested on parasitic armor, while leveing with my max energy upgraded by ability to 600ish then i deactivate parasitic. it stays like 2-4 seconds then drain to my unbuff max energy.
Just tested this with health conversation as well. Provided more energy than what primed flow provided me before. Though I am not sure if it activates the purple shards double crit damage, still testing.

Yes, it activates the purple shards double crit damage on melees, at least it does in in the stats of the weapon.

If you're already using Health Conversion and Primed Flow, swapping Primed Flow for this gives you an extra mod slot. The opportunity cost is that you're giving up an Arcane slot, so you're basically trading an Arcane slot for an extra mod slot. Could be very useful depending on your build.
If you're NOT already using Health Conversion and Primed Flow then this Arcane is probably not worth it.
It "works" with Health Conversion, though it's inconsistent - sometimes I have to lose a stack and then hope the next one procs it. I've used it to quickly build up multiplier for Secondary Surge on Nidus with the Zymos to mixed results, but this isn't the worst arcane, and combines well with Quick Thinking as well, if you're an oldhead like that.
Vex armor works, very easy to cap with lower arcane ranks.
Can confirm, rolling around with 1300 energy as chroma is ludicrous
Interestingly you can equip this arcane on Hildryn to give her energy. Simulacrum testing is finicky. Energy rapidly depletes and if it hits zero the energy bar disappears altogether and does not return. I was able to get it to stay a couple of times. Pretty useless, but it does allow Hildryn to use Secondary Surge..
Further testing seems to show that even if the energy bar disappears, the energy is still there, just not displayed. You are able to proc Secondary Surge and stack its damage buff. Collecting energy seems to fill your invisible energy bar giving higher stacking bonuses from Arcane Surge. Maybe someone can find a use for this.
Noobs will see this and cum at the idea of 1000 energy but fail to realize it's never worth wasting damage or survivability from Arcanes to get an unnecessary amount of max energy
1 arcane > 3 or so different mods slots that could be spent on damage, health, strength, range, duration, augment- shall i keep going?
Local warframe player is so uncreative and generally bad at buildcrafting that they have created the worst take in this comments section.
I haven't had energy issues since getting Arcane Energize.
Still gonna get the arcane JUST so i can see how long I can make a channeling abilities like Banshee's 4 (and whatever else there is that doesn't allow you to move during it) last.

Well.. Chroma, for example. His damage & survivability is tied to his abilities - the most common way he loses the dmg/survivability boost is if he runs out of energy.
In addition, [Quick Thinking](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Quick_Thinking) exists, making very high energy pool + armor a viable defensive strategy for frames that have limited defensive options (Desecrate Nekros springs to mind).

Yes that is true, and I do use that. I assume that may counteract with Gloom though.
another solution is nourish along with rage, since it multiplies the energy you receive from rage, meaning you can gain more energy then you take damage going on to a infinite feedback loop if you have any sort of healing (like the augment for chroma now does)
Which is what we call overkill because you dont need all that because chroma is already a health tank.
Put Secondary Surge on Laetum and let Chroma enjoys his overkill.

Does it correctly provide bonus for purple shards?
No, it doesn't work at all. Atleast as of June 24th.
This plus a frame with large amounts of armor with an emphasis on melee play plus the purple shards gives nice crit damage bonus. Valkyr, Wukong and Kullervo easily can achieve it.
Atlas can too
Doesn't seem to proc violet shards when armour treshold is met though buffs while in mission (like Wukong 3). Anyone else can confirm?

I can confirm that it doesn't work with violet shard. Chroma with cold ward.

What do you even need so much energy for with Inaros? His energy economy is good already.
Maybe the Elemental Sandstorm build? That build doesn't really run Hunter Adrenaline on account of always being invulnerable.
