Glaive and Heavy Attacks

Discussion

Things i've noticed about Glaive and Heavy Attacks:

  • The throw uses the Heavy Attack modifier

  • While the mod doesn't causes the detonation, you can still trigger it manually with the Heavy Attack button

  • Using Attack (not Heavy Attack) while the Glaive is midair will recall it without detonating

  • The detonation is actually a heavy attack and uses combo counter

  • Throws don't eat the combo counter, and in fact add to it

Just figured i'd share this information

Actually ty, that's why my glaive did 2mil crit, forgot about detonation as combo counter user :)

Does it have the weird interaction that the wolf sledge has where the throw modifier and the explosion multiply off each other?

I just wish I didn't have a 60% chance to blow the thing up in my face when I need quick healing... I wish they could somehow add a heavy throw that will use up combo counter without exploding that you can detonate to deal heavy damage, though I also want glaive throws to contribute to the counter cause I'm greedy... I guess what I'm asking for is impossible. They better fix orvius to be worth anything, though...

Oh I didn’t know about the safe normal attack recall. Cool!
