Acquisition[]

125,000 to purchase. As with all Syndicate Weapons, the Secura Lecta cannot be chosen as the free offering upon ranking up to Partner rank.
- Syndicate weapons can also be acquired via Trading, but only for unranked copies without Forma or Orokin Catalyst installed.
- Players must reach Mastery Rank 8 or higher to acquire the Secura Lecta, either by trading or through the Syndicates themselves.
Notes[]
- The Secura Lecta has to be wielded for the bonus credits effect to take place.
- The Credit Boost function for the Secura Lecta scales with Mastery Rank. At Mastery Rank 8, it gives an average 2x Credits from kills. This bonus increase with player Mastery Rank. At Mastery Rank 18 you'll get on average 4x Credits from kills.(capped)
- Bonus credits stacks with any active Credit Boosters for increased payout.
- Can be combined with
Hydroid's
Pilfering Swarm Augment to further increase earnings (
Nekros'
Desecrate does not add to further increase earnings)
Nova's
Molecular Prime does not have any negative impact on the credit boost, even if enemies get killed by Molecular Prime's explosion.
- While the Secura Lecta will grant credits on kills made in Duviri and The Undercroft, they will not be given to the player on mission completion.
Trivia[]
- The concept for the innate effect of the Secura Lecta was designed by player Oranji.

After running some tests in the Simulacrum (where the credit drops seem to trigger despite drops being disabled), it seems that Melee Influence does *not* trigger the extra credits for the Secura Lecta. When killing enemies placed in their normal positions, I was getting total credit counts around 750-1500. Using Ensnare to bunch them all up, on the other hand, was yielding counts of 2500-4000.
There could be aspects of the Simulacrum that aren't present in normal play, but that's the result of my quick test, for anyone else who comes here like I did trying to see if Melee Influence could spread the credit boost.
Is it just me, or do Tennokai kills not properly give credits for this weapon?
Can someone please tell me if gas clouds on this weapon proc the credit drops, also if melee influence gas clouds proc the credit drop too or no
I too was wondering this!
Anyone tested yet?
Seems like Legendary Ranks are treated as normal ranks, not 30+.
Credit drop was horrible for me (LR3)
"At Mastery Rank 18 you'll get on average 4x Credits from kills.(capped)"
There is something wrong with a weapon at this moment, not sure what, but u can't hit multiple enemies at the same time with it, like grouping with ensnare and hitting them will show that u are dealing 0(grey) damage to them, and overall weapons damage falls off against enemies
They "balanced" melee's years ago adding follow through that affects the damage done to multiple enemies in single instances past the first enemy damaged. Whips especially felt this change, but whips have been getting dogged on for years since they commited the cardinal sin of Meme Strike.
False, follow through was always in the game (directly stated in that devstream) all they added was it being shown in the arsenal.
Speed mods (e.g. Quickening, Fury) don't seem to increase actual Attack speed (I tried a full ranked Quickening, at +40% Attack speed it should have been noticeable; nope, speed looked the same).
Maybe it's because of long animation time?
Is it something about the whips, a bug, or there's something I don't know?
The wiki is wrong about nekros. it's not that his 3 doesn't affect it, but what it does is guarantee that if HIS roll happens to be credits, then those credit values are doubled from what they would have been.
Just got a riven for the lecta. Good or bad?
Not an expensive riven but I personally enjoy using the weapon for the extra credits. If modded correctly (for status) it can handle some really high level enemies quite well
I really don't like Index, so I like running this weapon in normal missions, just for the sake of getting a few extra creds here and there. It's a decent status weapon, and kinda fun to use. I would recommend it. (Also, looks dope :P)
I have a 250%CC and 80% AS. It's not the best DPS weapon but a heavy attack build gets its job done with guaranteed slash proc and you get some bonus creds too which is nice. But it wouldn't work well without a CC riven because its base CC is too low and a single S.Steel will only bring it to 80% with heavy attack.
Not noted but killing enemies with Ash's Blade Storm while the Secura Lecta is equipped (regardless if you are holding the Secura Lecta in your hand when you use the ability) will not yield additional credits. Furthermore, damaging an enemy with the Secura Lecta and finishing it through other means will not result in additional credits; however, if you damage an enemy and proceed to kill it with the Secura Lecta, additional credits will be dropped. Hopes this is helpful information to anyone.
Well, yeah. Bladestorm only uses the attack speed of the melee, nothing else. Take for example, the skiajati. If Bladestorm used the weapon itself to scale in any way, than you would become invisible right? Correct. but Bladestorm doesn't use any weapon values other than attack speed. Passives like the Secura Lecta's don't affect it in any way
The credit gain change with mastery rank should be put in the page itself, instead of only being present in the patch notes. I completely missed it until I used Ctrl + F and scrolled there, and almost made a comment asking what the scaling is.
15% is "good critical chance"???
Yeah, it makes for a good bonus for BR to work off of still
For most weapons 10% is considered average unless it's a sniper rifle or launcher that fires slow then it can be considered low. So yeah, 15% is good.
fastest edit in the west
anyway, 15% is below average for melee weapons.
Maybe average at best.
20% is good/decent. anything below isn't worth building for hybrid
0 impact damage but it procs impact. Discription needs updating. Also. will shattering impact apply? or must there be impact damage to apply and impact procs don't count?
Why does it need updating? The impact procs are part of the stances.
Also Shattering Impact needs Impact damage, Thats the reason it does not work on Redeemer's shots, even if they always proc impact.
I think I'm having more fun keeping the credits combo up instead of actually killing thing with this.
anyone wanna trade this with my cephalon suda weapon
the fact that it can print money means it will never get a dis above 1. i feel DE regreted they even made the weapon
you go waste time playing in the index, with this wep, i can farm for kuva, relics, ducats, resources, frame parts, gear, specter bp all while earning thos credits in the backround. typical small minded player farming for 1 thing at a time
^ I'd rather do a few index runs than be stuck with this weapon in every mission. also kys you blowhard who can't even post on a wiki without being condescending
lol @ regretting maiming strike
"also kys you blowhard" Not really helping your argument, bud.
Funny how they nerfed the credit gain on this...
When you can gain like 250k every 5 mins in Index solo, I don't understand why would anyone use it for credits. Or worry about credits in the first place.
mabey case the index is......BORING, if you like the index go play Unreal then. at least with this melee i can farm for kuva and ducats and make credits. farming for 1 thing is a big waste of time unless you are a player with no life
Funny how? is the Lecta funny, I mean, funny like a clown, the lecta amuses you?
^ha. ha. ha.
I used to think that one simply had to have the Secura Lecta out in the hand and all kills would be effected by the credit boost, but unless you are actually doing the killing it doesn't seem to matter. :)
im getting this thanks to ticker in fortuna
Anyone know if it stacks with Effigy?
it does
Arbitations and fortuna dont grant credits.
