The Pherliac Pod is a consumable Gear item. When deployed, the pod acts as a decoy that makes Infested units attack it rather than anything else. Non-Infested units will attack the pods only if the player is not nearby.

Acquisition[]
- This item's blueprint and its components: Pulsating Tubercles, Infected Palpators, Chitinous Husk, Severed Bile Sac; can be obtained as drops from the Juggernaut, Juggernaut Behemoth, and Deimos Juggernaut. One random component is a guaranteed drop from each Juggernaut, and the blueprint may also drop as well. Each Pherliac Pod created has 50 charges.
- The blueprint currently has a bugged 90% drop chance from Deimos Juggernaut. DE has stated that it is intended to be only a 5% drop chance, and have already attempted (and failed) to fix this bug. However, the other components and drops have the correct drop chance as intended.
- The blueprint and components cannot be traded with other players.
Potent Pherliac Pod[]
The Potent Pherliac Pod is an enhanced version made by irradiating the Pherliac Pod with Argon Crystals. The Blueprint is only obtainable during The Jordas Precept quest.

Notes[]
- Pherliac Pods are a required item to complete The Jordas Precept quest.
- Potent Pherliac Pods are also required to complete the quest and the blueprint is unobtainable otherwise.
- Potent Pherliac Pods do not actually need to be used to progress the quest however. They must only be crafted and equipped.
- For this reason, players may wish to keep their Potent Pherliac Pods as a souvenir, rather than using them.
- If used, Potent Pherliac Pods function identically to their normal variant.
- Blueprints are not reusable.
- When used, the Pherliac Pod is thrown to a targeted point on the ground. The Pod has a higher threat rating than players, and will thus attract enemy Infested to attack it instead.
- The pod will attract all Infested units, including Corrupted Ancients and Phorid.
- Against Lephantis, the Pherliac Pod will only attract the attention of the scythe-wielding Grineer head during the second phase, which will make it pull the rest of Lephantis' main body to the Pod's location as it attempts to attack it in melee. Otherwise, the Pod has no effect on the other heads, or on all the heads during the first phase.
- A deployed Pherliac Pod will last for 10 seconds.
- The blueprint can drop alongside one of the components upon killing a Juggernaut or Juggernaut Behemoth. The blueprint's dropping does not replace the random component.
- Pherliac Pods blueprints resemble other blueprint drops such as Gorgon.
- Non-Infested units will still attack Pherliac Pods, but the pods will not have the same threat rating as on the Infested.
- The word "grizzly" is incorrectly used in the description of the pherliac pod components; grisly is correct.
Tips[]
- A deployed Pherliac Pod can cause groups of Infested to crowd together, this in turn allows for effective use of AOE (area of effect) Warframe abilities when aiming the ability at the crowd.
- The above tip can be used in Defense missions to deter crowds of Infested from rushing towards the cryopod, while at the same time allowing for efficient use of Warframe AOE abilities.

Pherliac pods now take 10 seconds to craft, was changed in Update 35.5 along with other quest-related crafts
Any idea why deployed pherliac pods change their model, now? This has happened for a while, since around Heart of Deimos dropped, I think. They retain their old model when thrown, but when they hit and attach to something, they turn into the infested Nightwave sentinel tail, and seem to have a shorter duration than normal.
These dont seem to work on cambion drift
From notes, "If used, Potent Pherliac Pods function identically to their normal variant." How was this tested? Where does this info come from? When I use them the potent is useful and regular isn't very good at all.
Isos - Eris (Capture Mission) - Capture subject - Juggernaut should immediately trigger (if not, abort mission) - Kill Juggernaut - rinse, repeat.
Took about 10x until last ingredient dropped. Fastest method I found. Mod Weapons with "Gas" to make killing Juggernaut faster. GL

9 pulsating tubercles, 7chitinous husk, 5 severed bile sack, and 0 infected palpators. this plus all the drops i missed after aborting the mission because i didnt get the infected palpator drop i wanted... Warframe istg give me the drop

I have the oposite one ahahah i have like million of Palpators and 0 others
2h Juggernaut farming: 8x Chitinous Husk; 8x Severed Bile Sac; 3x Infected Palpatros; 0x Pulsating Tubercles. Maybe the drops are just randomly unlucky or the drop rates are not even
Do these work on Deimos infested units?
Put a pherliac pod on a rescue prison door, and use lokis switch teleport on it.
You`ll phase through the door and since wardens and enemies spawn only hen the doors are opened you`ll have a free leash for the entire rescue sequence.

Why the hell does the Potent pods require ARGON CRYSTALS?
Argon Crystals are easy to get. Many missions in the Void will give you at the very least 1-2 Argon Crystals just from destroying containers.
Besides, the Potent Pods are only used once during the quest, then never again. Not even the normal Pods have any real use, save for progressing the quest.

Infestation invasion > Extermination missions to get a pretty decent drop chance since every run is almost guaranteed to pop one.
Juggernauts are a common sight in the Cambion Drift now.
I dropped the acceltra BP, but I've yet to see this one. 10% drop rate. More like 0.1%.
Thats because Demolisher Juggernauts have a 3.75% chance to drop a blueprint, with an equal chance for that drop to be the Akarius/Acceltra/Pherliac Pods blueprint. So it's more like 1.25% drop rate. It's the base Juggernaut (and the Juggernaut Behemoth) that have 10%.

In fact, it always drops a blueprint and one of the ingrediants at the same time. I wouldn't be annoyed if these things were actually useful. Hell, we didn't even use it during the damn mission.

Does anyone know if the juggernauts in the Disruption missions can drop the Pherliac Pod blueprint? I know they still drop the parts to build it...

So then how is it that when I or a teammate are on Chroma with a proper Vex Armor build and within range, the Pherliac pod lasts literally until we move *out* of range? There's no mention in the patch notes of it changing ever, and we've used them to great effect for farming affinity on Assur.

Ok this is one of the worst quests in the game. 30+ runs and no blueprint. Confirmed that Isos, Eris is a good place to spawn the Jugg but it’s not guaranteed. Don’t kill infested on your way to the target in case it screams right away after the capture kill. Had Nekros + desecrate and used a slash weapon and it finally dropped plus another part. Good luck tennos.
Got Everything in 10 runs the BP from Armaros Europa and the parts from ISOS Eris Good Luck

From Boethius of Mercury to Eris and the Derelict I have gone, back and forth and back and forth trying to get this drop for weeks. I know I have not had the hardest time getting this drop and that there are apparently some tricks to getting it, but I have yet to. Maybe another time I'll get it.
Armaros, Europa Got it third try
I got mine when i defeated a juggernut in saturn (keeler) externinate mission.
Amaros too, after 30+ tries in Eris (Saxis), Pods BP dropped after 2nd try.
