Tandem Bond is a Beast Companion mod that allows the companion's melee attacks to add to the owner's Melee Combo. Performing a Heavy Attack will bolster the companion's melee damage for 30 seconds.

Notes[]
If a player has a riven with -chance to gain combo, the player can gain combo count with this mod, regardless, even in cases where the negative chance is past 100.

- Fixed weapons with a higher max Melee Combo Multiplier (such as Venka Prime) being unable to increase their Combo Counter beyond 12x (and resetting to 0) when using the Rauta and Tandem Bond Mod.
Hotfix 34.0.5 (2023-10-26)
- Fixed the Combo increase from Tandem Bond (“Companion melee hits increase your Combo by 6”) being affected by additional Melee Combo Chance sources (e.g. Quickening, Exodia Triumph, etc.).

Testing in the simulacrum shows that clones from duplex bond do not trigger this.
Duplex bond clones do not trigger any abilities, it's in the description. You didn't need to test this.
It says they cannot use abilites, not that they do not trigger them.
This isn't working at all on Ivara, would be useful if it did.
Excuse me, meant it doesn't work with negative combo count, unlike any other frame I try it on.

Recent patchnote states they fixed the negative combo duration exploit with this and Rauta.
Does anyone know if Seismic bond triggers this one? I've read that it apparently triggers other melee effects such as vicious bond.
Been running tons of testing and so far all conclusions are leading to this mod not working beyond pets giving the user combo count. doing heavy attacks gives no bonus damage of any value to any pet I've tested with. have checked any sort of mod incompatibility as well by testing with various mod setups and no mods beyond this one as well, even went as far as to make sure the combo counter being consumed or not consumed by the heavy wasn't the issue either.
Classic DE throws bunch of new stuff that is not working proparly.
It should be obvious, but the page should probably mention anyway that the companion's hits do reset your combo timer just like a normal hit of yours would.

Does this mod work on clones created by Duplex Bond?
Yeah
No, it does not. Duplex bond clones do NOT trigger any form of abilities

Its fixed. You gain 6 combo count per attack your pet does.
I ran some testing; here's what I got:
My pet dealt almost as much damage from a single boosted strike as the combined damage from five separate strikes; to a level 155 grineer lancer (no SP so the damage dealt is more noticeable), the damage from the boosted strike dealt around 55-60% of the target's health, while five separate strikes dealt around 65-70% of the target's health.
What seems to make the most sense is that my pet is dealing 460% damage (100% base damage plus the 360% added from a heavy strike with 12x combo) and that the mod is increasing the final damage value after modding.
... In case you're wondering how in the hells a kubrow inflicted 60-70% damage on five attacks to a level 155 lancer, I used both Bite and Hunter Sinergy with a crit intensive weapon to boost my pet's crit chance to almost 100%.
Oh, and yes, I was using maul on the testing.

This stacks with Swipe on Kavats/Vulps, giving you tons of passive combo.
Works especially well with Khora since she can have 2 Kavats. They can get you from 0 to 12x without you doing a single thing.
Would you know if this works on deconstructor?
Its a beast mod so no sentinels can't equip it.
