Tenacious Bond is a Companion mod that reduces companion recovery on headshot kills. In addition, a Critical Damage multiplier is granted to the owner's weapons if the companion's critical chance is above 50%.

Notes[]
- Despite the mod's description reading "over 50%", the buff will still be applied when the companion's crit chance is at 50%. In other words, the companion's crit chance needs to be ≥ 50%.
- The only Robotic Weapons that can satisfy the critical chance requirements without Riven Mods are the
Vulcax and the
Vulklok with
Point Strike.
- Does not affect Amp damage.
- Does not stack when used on a companion and
Venari.
Tips[]
Harrow gets the most benefit from this mod, as his headshot-focused gameplay allows him to reliably trigger this mod's recovery reduction, and
Covenant adds a flat critical chance bonus to all allies in Affinity Range, including companions, triggering the critical damage bonus for the duration of the ability as a result.
- A Rank 4
Bite will upgrade the critical chance of all Kavat and Vulpaphyla companions (including
Venari) to exactly 50%, satisfying the requirement for this mod while also saving mod capacity and Endo.
- Players may also consider
Hunter Synergy for all Beast-type companions, especially Kubrows, Predasites, and the Helminth Charger, to reach 50%. The player's primary weapon must have a critical chance of at least 133%.

Makes for a very powerful slash-dash alongside Wrathful Advance and a power stronk build.
This does stack when used with Venari + another companion, I did this test with Acceltra Prime on a Corrupted Heavy Gunner lvl 225.

The increase in damage does double with venari and another companion, my torid goes from 4.4x to 5.6x with Tenacious Bond equiped on venari and then to 6.8x when equiped on an extra companion (in this case a smeeta with hunter synergy), it could be entirely visual tho
It doesn't seem to work with Moa companions
I gave the mod to a Moa along with an appropriate weapon and the mod didn't appear on the hud, I don't recall if I checked the weapon stats

Does this mod add +1.2 to your base weapon critical damage, or it just adds +1.2 to your total (after mods) critical damage?
Example:
2 CD x (organ shatter 90%) = 2 x 1.9 + 1.2 = 3.8 CD + 1.2 = 5? OR
(2 CD + 1.2) x (organ shatter 90%) = 3.2 x 1.9 = 6.08
.. or option C - mod still doesn't work? :D
It says +1.2x Final Critical Damage Multiplier. Not base.
In the weapon screen, it looks like it adds 1.2 at the end (the first of your two examples), but since the stats in the weapon screen aren't always accurate, it's hard to say for certain.

Yes, i tested this and it counts towards the crit tier multiplier
I equipped this on a Carrier Prime with Vulklok that has 105% crit chance thanks to Critical Delay, and the crit damage bonus seems to be applying twice- presumably because it actually increases crit damage for *every* 50% crit chance your companion has?
Not sure if it's a visual bug or if it's actually applying the crit damage bonus twice. Can someone confirm?

I am also noticing this bug. Trying to set up Adarza Kavat with Kullervo and my weapons are also reflecting 1.2 reduced crit multiplier. Has to be a bug.
Or! maybe it just intend to show us the base modified and the bonus, but it just show as negative but it not...
Purple archon shards have that same problem since launch, i guess it's about conditional bonus crit multiplier that are applying but don't come from the modding screen for the weapon itself?

Yes
Harrow's Covenant buff applies to companions, and that will trigger tenacious bond.
So for sentinels/Moa the only guns capable of reaching 50% are:
Vulklok 35% + Point Strike = 87.5%
Vulcax 20% + Critical Delay = 60%
Prime Laser Rifle 15% + Critical Delay = 45% (needs riven at least 35% CC)
Multron 12.5% + Critical Delay = 37.5% (needs riven at least 100% CC)

Well yea if you include rivens plenty of companion weapons can reach it. But it's not great to rely on needle in a haystack chance to get the best crit riven out there.
Primed laser rifle is best if you can get the a riven with atleast 26 crit at base, not easy but easier than the other none 20% crit weapons. especially when using deringa as you get an 2 extra procs

Theres just a benefit for sentinal weapons. Any other weapons showing no crit multi bonus anymore. Also theres no information about it on youtube or google or in the game so lets wait and see what DE will do.

Might just be a new UI bug but it does not appear to be showing the buff in the arsenal, i have a 105% crit chance Vulklok and my crit damage is the same.
The patch came out yesterday and the mod broke.
The +1.2cd is not applying. I tested the dmg with and without this mod, same numbers.

The buff from the mod is still not displayed if you swap from Panzer Vulpaphyla to Wyrm Prime in the Similacrum.
