Notes[]
- When equipped without a Stance mod, the Ceramic Dagger adds a 4th lunging stab to its normal attack combo, which propels the Warframe a good distance forward, which is useful in catching up to moving enemies. It also has a 100% chance of inflicting
Slash bleed proc. This effect is lost if one uses the
Pointed Wind stance, which replaces the lunge with a sweeping slash.
- If the lunge lands behind an unalerted enemy, a stealth attack will be performed instead.
Incarnon Genesis[]
- Upon completion of The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlocking The Steel Path, players can earn
Ceramic Dagger Incarnon Genesis from The Circuit's Steel Path to place on their Ceramic Dagger with the help of Cavalero in the Chrysalith. This Incarnon Genesis form grants it evolutions to a transformation and newfound strength.

Trivia[]
- Prior to Update 22.20 (2018-05-17), the Ceramic Dagger shared its model with the
Cronus, only scaled down and with a much lower-resolution texture. It was eventually given a similar-but-unique model that resembles a scaled-down Scimitar in shape.
- The blueprint used to drop from Jupiter's boss J3-Golem, however this method of obtaining the blueprint is no longer available.
- Ironically, despite having a curved blade that would be ideal for slashing, the Ceramic Dagger deals mainly
Puncture and no
Slash damage.

There’s some disgusting movement tech you can do with this thing. It lets you genuinely outpace volt and any other frame trying to bullet jump. Use this with saryn and you pretty much engage, kill, and move on from enemies before either players can.
I honestly hope they change that, because the few times I’ve seen people abuse this tech with a macro they actually just make the game unfun. I’d like to participate, please stop zooming at MK5 around the map just to kill the 6 enemies I wanted to shoot.
What is the tech ? I looked around but couldn't find anything
Is the tech specific to this weapon or are you referring to spin tech?
Where I can find the Ceramic Dagger?
I dint find it in Nightwave 7.
Yes ok: the shop's items are on 7-day rotation
Regulators don't trigger the incarnon anymore sadge
Does the sprint and bullet jump work even while not on incarnon form and while using primary/secondary?
From my testing only in incarnon mode i see speed boost.
The incarnon on this thing goes insane on Kullervo
There are alot of interactions with the Incarnon Form's spectral daggers that are unclear, so I tested a ton of them:
Pressure Point does not apply
Elemental mods apply and combine with aoe heat
Condition Overload does apply on direct hit only (recommended to replace Pressure Point)
Killing Blow does not apply
Blood Rush does apply on direct hit and aoe
Life Strike does apply on direct hit and aoe
Healing Return does apply on direct hit only
Shattering Impact does apply on direct hit (aoe does not have impact damage)
Spring-Loaded Blade does apply on aoe forced impact (unclear if anything else works, but it's very likely that all status effects will work)
Proton Snap does apply on direct hit and aoe
Relentless Combination does apply (only direct hit has slash)
Carnis set does apply on direct hit and aoe (the enemy must be killed by direct damage, not from status effects)
Melee Exposure does apply on direct hit and aoe
Melee Animosity does apply on direct hit and aoe
Melee Influence does apply on direct hit and aoe
Melee Fortification does apply on direct hit and aoe
Melee Retaliation does not apply
Oh, and if anyone was wondering, combo multipliers work fine.
ALSO also True Steel and Sacrificial Steel apply the double crit bonus to the daggers.
Did you happen to test how Gun and Blade, Adept Reflexes, and Melee Crescendo interact? I'm curious if, by oversight, all of these together let you reach 340 melee combo.
Well, I don't have Melee Crescendo, so I can't test that.
Have you tried to see how Volt's Electric Shield applies? I tested it with Hate Incarnon lately and I think only the direct hits get buffed with electric + cdmg, not the aoe (saw heat procs, never radiation procs). Should be the same for all Incarnon melee projectiles, right?
Curved Blades stab just fine please delete that note.
I second this, I’m not an expert on Blades like Skallagrim or Shadiversity. But I do understand blades more than the average person. Curved blades even with such a curve as the Ceramic Dagger suffer no real losses for Stabbing. In power or alignment, in the slightest. Who ever made the Trivia note doesn’t know what they’re talking about
True, but "Ideal for slashing" is still pretty accurate. A broad, single edged blade that does no slash damage doen't make alot of sense . And is kinda frustrating given how useful that would be in this game.
Edit done. Of course, any one of you could have done this yourselves, too. It took less than 10 seconds.
Spectral dagger is 350 dmg with 56.67% Slash, 33.33% puncture and 10% impact on direct hit.
It has an explosion that is 100% heat at 350 dmg too. Multishot of 2. Explosion has a guaranteed impact proc.
Thx for the info
To be honest, "highly impractical at stabbing" is a bit of an exaggeration because most curved weapons are still decent at stabbing, you can even stab with rounded tips (as can be seen on katzbalger shortsword)
Yeah you just have to change the way you are stabbing
Instead of straight thrusts you can swing and curve it openning more ways to stab
Still, given the IPS system you would expect a proper stab with a curved blade, especially a curve like the ceramic dagger has, to be rather Slash weighted. Perhaps the note should be reworded to reflect that the issue is less "impractical to stab" but more that even when stabbing a blade like this looks like it should be inflicting lacerating injuries rather than neat punctures.
There's an error in the Notes section. It should say "When equipped without a Stance mod,"
Fixed, thanks.
I don't understand why daggers have such low crit change, you have to use this weapon up close thus more control in attacking critical areas of the body
Actually, no. Having less range means you can't attack heads as easily.
Heads are definitely not the only critical location. Also headshots are not crit chance related?
The main picture is still of Cronus even having a new look in "Media" section. It needs to be changed.
It got a new look, can we get a prime for this one also? :3
And this weapon or rather the whole dagger category is stronger than it looks. It can take down a lvl 100 bombard in 20 hits without a potato installed and riven, thanks to the forced slash proc of Stinging Thorn and CO. It's still on the weaker side, but it's usable if you want to.
How the fudge does a ceramic dagger have no slash damage? Ceramic tiles do real life slash damage.
It's literally in the title: "dagger". You don't slash with a dagger.
Well then that's either bad naming or bad design, as noone would be caught dead trying to stab with a CURVED blade.
Tbh naming can be dodgy in warframe, i.e. glaives are closer to chakrams than actual glaves, which are polearms.
C'mon y'damn canadians...do something that makes SOME sense, now.
The updated model of the dagger looks more like a sword. It's big af
But it's badass.
120% Attack speed riven and maxed primed fury + speed channeling makes the finisher on this so silly.
tenno weapons?
I got a Riven for this that increases attack speed & melee damage but decreases the chance of a sliding attack being a critical hit. Not really mad, because with the new dagger stance and covert lethality, it kinda makes up for that. Plus, how often do you slide attack with a dagger?
This thing has the same codex image as the Cronus
This was my melee of choice back then when you all equipped weapons were visible and you had to melee slingshot to move around. Great looking weapon, too.
