Ah, Shimmering Blight.
AKA, "If this Polearm has the Zerurik Stance Polarity? I'm going to break something."
I swear, the Twin Nikana stance sounds more fun to use compared to this one... and the Twin Nikanas are barely functioning as is!
Forward series includes a lot of top-down hits which almost always deal headshots on more humanoid enemies
Animation team moment
Is the (Heavy Attack while Sliding) the same for all polearm stances?
Should be, what specifically made you want to ask that?
Is this up to date ? What does "360 degree" attack mean, as far as Playstation controls go ?
360 attack means that on that melee input in the combo, that particular attack will hit in a 360-degree arc around the player (similar to a slide attack). You can view the inputs needed to perform a combo in the legend.
Anyone knows where to farm this fast other than go to warframe market and buy it for 5 plat
Try Draco, Ceres
Its pretty easy to get, i have 45....though i dont really know where to get it
So its not the aoe spinning, but the single target poke that does slash? lame
It's AoE, just need to hold aim (MB2) down while ya hack'n'slashing
Howling Gale is forward and block, this just says forward. And you can spin around to do the first attack somewhat in place, if you don't mind getting sick.
It would be so beautyful if the slashing wing didn't stop the warframe. But here we are...
It's funny how people don't like this stance because it's so basic. I just love having zero slam attack combos and a simple combo that forces slash procs. Howling Gale just looks and feels so good to pull off too.
The best stance for me, it doesn't restain my movement but feelsbad when it doesnt have any damage buff in attack
accidently got this while doing the inaros quest
"Accidently"
Trying to find a way to get this for my weapon. I'm using the GuanDao, been killing seekers for weeks. Is there anyway to improve my chances.
the usual, nekros, hydroid or kora. you can also steal with ivara.
Should've just bought it.
Why do this and Bleeding Willow STILL only have ONE unique combo?
The combo is pretty good though. It triggers slash and impact procs, provides momentum and multi-hits. It's just people don't even know what it does coz they use only quick melee before melee 2.9.
How can i get 10 bleeding willows casually, yet I cant farm for one shimmering blight
facts
He spitting straight fax
Agreed
I never got bleeding willow but got shimmering blight easliy.
With the new audio rework they made not too long ago for all melee weapons, this stance got ruined for me.
its sound is terrible. sounds like swinging a plastic fork or something, clanking etc instead of sounding like you are actually SLASHING and cutting things up.
the other stance Bleeding Willow doesnt sound anything like this, it sounds like normal slashing/cutting sounds which is really satisfying.
Just an fyi for those saying this stance is useless... The Guandao is my all time favorite melee weapon and I was looking for ANY way to make it viable vs grineer. It does fantastic against infested with meme strike but I was tired of mamiming (not on atterax though it's fire) So I made a non maim crit/combo multi focused build with a simple yet poweful 7.7s combo duration 121% range riven, freeing up a mod slot so I don't need drifting. The last hit on howling gale is a guaranteed slash proc remember, and Guandao has 4% status. I'm stacking SCALING red crit slash procs bleeds anywhere from 2-14k combo dependant, more if you stack from range via inaros' dessicate. It's not only made the Guandao somewhat viable for grineer, it's made it way more fun then just maiming trash, I've topped kuva survival dmg almost every game going 40 min - 1hr 30. Only using the guandao. The stance is not useless at all for certian builds and weapons, especially low status chance high base dmg/crit weapons. Forced procs are amazing, just check out vulpine mask and the destreza prime.
.... da wae
Quick tip: turn on toggle block. with toggle block if you mess up the timing for the second hit of howling gale it doesn't go into the normal charge atk so you can combo again.
Slide attacks while having the melee weapon equipped has a slightly longer animation than slide attacks without equipping melee. You can notice with the melee equipped, near the end of the slide attack, you pull the weapon in front of your chest like you are guarding. This does not happen if you quick melee.
