Loid is a human that served faithfully for Albrecht Entrati. Following his master's departure, the Necraloid Loid was created to assist and accompany original Loid, and was put under cryostasis with the role of the Sleeper to be later awakened by the Chosen Operator as part of The Kalymos Sequence.
Introduced in Whispers in the Walls, the original Loid assists the 
Cavia in trading Voca for Standing, offers Vocas for sale in exchange for resources, and is the contact for Arcane Dissolution.

- The Welsh Loid surname comes from the well-known Welsh personal name Lloyd. This name is originally derived from the word "llwyd," which means "grey", "grey-haired; sacred". The name may originally allude to experience and wisdom, and probably denoted a person entitled to respect.

Eternalism. All of these statements are simultaneously true: he has a septum piercing, he does not have a septum piercing, and he has an arch-nemesis in the form of a particular Gruzzling he refers to as "Dok" that he engages in a constant struggle with, having said piercing stolen, and retrieving it. Over and over again.

While they clearly had a thing, in this context "Master Entrati's man" refers to Loid being Albrecht's retainer.

What's with the "heavily implied"? The do they need to have a quest where they show them going on a date before people accept what was being told to us in Whispers or...
Pretty much lol, Ive seen people saying they were "taken by surprise" with the final part of the quest, when anyone with more than 5 working brain cells could guess they were lovers right in the begining of the intro cinematic lol.
The fact that his clothes cannot be dyed after rank 5 is a huge omission. We could make him a malewife in a "wedding dress" :D

Loid has big 'overwrought gay friend' energy, and it's a crime we can't dye him at the end of the Whispers line.

Every gun, every stick, every suit of armor, every killbot, every skateboard and jetpack.
The mission support lady.
The clone soldier.
The depressed circus animals.
Your horse, your cats, your dogs.
The two space-ships.

Things and characters that are not fine to colorize:
Loid.
Almost everything in the game is allowed to be flamboyant, regardless of whether or not it is part of the player's persona.
Not Loid, though. Suddenly, it's a "personality" thing. He must be kept beige. He must look as miserable as he sounds.
I'm pretty sure he isn't customizable because DE is well aware that many folks are going to customize him in bad faith/to be hateful and ugly (Making him look like a clown/a hot mess) purely out not spite or as a "joke".
Loid's orientation aside. Loid is his own individual self so for "us" to dictate what he wears might be considered in bad taste.
Additionally, as an Orokin, he's (lore wise) far to stuck up and self centered to let someone else tell him how to look/dress.
Natah is a mimic so I want to say the customization we give her is technically "The Form she has chosen" post New War.
Kahl can be written off as just equipping new armor.
Railjack NPCs would be being issued Crew uniforms.
I'm not arguing so much as saying that the majority of customizations make logical sense. But for Loid, it could both ruin future Questlines and of course (as some comments have proven) lead to him being customized in a negative or stereotypical manner ruining the seriousness/impact of the character.
(Think of when players get undergarment skins in RPGs and keep em on the cast for the entire playthrough/YouTube video ruining all the cutscenes by having characters in their underwear.)

Not Eidolon ones, but the ones from Onkko
Magus Vigor and Virtuos Null are the best arcanes in terms of vosfor per standing, not only of the quill arcanes but of all arcanes that can be bought for standing from any syndicate. They cost 2500 and give 12 vosfor, for 4.8 vosfor per 1000 standing. If you want to use up the gigantic pile of sentient cores you've got, those are the target.
(The next best are the 5000 standing arcanes from the zariman, at 4.4 vosfor per 1000 standing, if you've got extra voidplumes laying around. None of the other syndicates have anything better than 2.4.)
