Ore Gaze on a farming frame?

Question/Request

Look I know Ore Gaze isn't really that great. I just feel weirdly compelled to try to squeeze it on a farming frame for theoretically more loot because the greed is real.

I am struggling to think which looting WF would synergize best with it. I need crazy power strength for the ability drop chance, and then I need like.. enough range for it to be viable because it is an expensive ability. Or I could just go for lower range but then that could hurt the ability of the other WF to farm.

Should I just accept this as impossible and move on with my life or does anyone have any ideas?

If I remember correctly Ore Gaze, Strangledome and Tentacle Swarm are abilities that can't stack with each other, only one of them at a time can proc on one enemy.

The only farming warframe that can use it is Nekros, so you either need to use him or put it on different warframe which can use this skill better.

Edit: it actually seems to be a bug, as other people below have mentioned, those abilities should actually work with each other, but must be used in correct order - first Strangledome/Tentacle Swarm, then Petrify on affected enemies.

Awh darn. I knew you couldn't petrify dudes in the tenticles but I didn't know about strangledome. Darn. Well that saves me some testing, thanks.

Ore Gaze is in it's own category 'loot petrified', so it stacks with 'loot on death': https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Ore_Gaze?so=search

I have an ivara with ore gaze that i only use for pigment farming, but for that is pretty damm good.

Oooh could I see the build? I love ivara.

coming late but I like to farm pigments on steelpath and don't have a good build for ivara yet. I've been slapping high strength ore gaze on revenant or nekros usually, which works pretty decent

Hildryn with ore gaze over her 4 and precision Intensify, she needs the strength anyway so why not?

I run Ore Gaze on my Nekros and it works nicely. I already run long range so Desecrate can reach corpses that aren't right next to me. I also want high enough strength that my shield of shadows give the full 90% damage reduction.

Energy costs of casting Ore Gaze are mitigated by equilibrium and Primed Flow. You have to pay attention to how much you spam cast it, but in general the extra orb drops can keep up with casting cost.

In general, the build is kind of a meme, but what else are you going to do on Nekros? Run Roar? How original... Gloom? There's CC in this game? I say meme it up!

Might do this a nice chasing level 30 has me very low on Orokin Cells lately.
