- Melee Influence cannot spread the following:
- Melee Influence only triggers from direct melee strikes. Secondary melee effects such as
Caustacyst's sludge trail and
Dual Ichor Incarnon's toxin fields cannot trigger Melee Influence.

Electric Shield can also trigger Melee Influence.

- This arcane not only transfers Status Effects to nearby enemies, but also deals damage equal to the amount of the procced elemental damage present on your melee's stat screen.
- Example: A melee with 100 base dmg, modded with
Shocking Touch, if Melee Influence proc'd, it will deal 90 electricity dmg. - Damage spread is based on the amount of matching elemental damage after quantization.
- Performing a finisher with a forced elemental proc will not spread any Finisher damage, as 0% of the damage dealt is made up of the elemental status that was procced.
- Example: A melee with 100 base dmg, modded with
- Proccing multiple elements at the same time will show the sum of the spread damage.
- Due to the nature of Faction Damage Bonuses, they are applied twice on damage done by Melee Influence and thrice on damaging status procs caused by it.
- With the example above, a 90 electric dmg dealt by a skana that triggers Melee Influence, will now deal 360 electricity dmg with a 100% Roar, as it is applied twice.

Bugs[]
Electro Pulse and Synergized Prospectus can trigger Melee Influence.- Raw damage oneshots cannot trigger or benefit from Melee Influence.
- Ice
Elemental Ward will count reflected bullet damage as melee damage, reflecting cold procs to surrounding enemies who shot you as if the cold damage was applied to your melee weapon, as long as melee influence is active.

- Fixed Melee Influence’s buffs applying to clones spawned from Warframe abilities (ex: Mirage’s Hall of Mirror clones).
- While this has been a popular combination, it has also been the source of many severe performance issues that can crash players. We have removed this interaction in the name of stability for the game.
- Fixed Melee Influence being triggered by Dual Ichor Incarnon’s Toxin fields.
- Melee Influence is intended to trigger “On Melee Electricity Status” and not from secondary effects (as they are not considered direct Melee hits). Since the Toxin fields deal damage independently of Melee attacks, it does not meet the Arcane’s criteria of triggering only if the Electricity Status originates from the weapon in hand.
- Fixed a crash caused by Status Effects spreading from Melee Influence.
Hotfix 35.0.4 (2023-12-20)
- Fixed Melee Influence spreading status effects applied to invulnerable enemies.

Been running a Syam with Valence Formation for guaranteed electricity procs. It's activating the Melee Influence buff but never spreading procs. Does Melee Influence not spread the status of an attack if it one-shots?
Played 3 low-level missions solo and haven't noticed it spread procs even once.
It doesn't spread, noticed that on my OP Arca Titron build.
No one should even bother worrying about this getting nerfed. DE has made it pretty clear that anything and everything they release can be capable of wiping out entire maps for all they care at this point lol. Long live power creep.

Its not OP. Lots of stronger enemies dont die easily with status procs for lots of reasons. Good for crowds though. And if the enemy is strong against electro, it is even less impressive. It is a fun arcane and definitely has a place in some builds. "Raw damage oneshots cannot trigger or benefit from Melee Influence." Another negative.

Currently not working with arca titron heavy slams, as in even while active, heavy slam statuses (both forced procs and innate damage) do not spread to enemies within 20m
Tested and my build just kills enemies in oneshot before the arcane can even spread the statuses. Should prolly be added somewhere that if the enemy dies statuses wont spread
Just tested again and it seems to be working very inconsistently on Arca Titron slams, Sometimes they work sometimes they just dont. At random it seems.
Ok so i noticed that whenever influence doesnt work on heavy slams, i normal slam until it functions normally then it works on heavy slams. This could make a temporary fix
I figured it out. Oneshots do NOT spread statuses. Ways to work around this are:
Hit enemies with shield as their very short shield gating will allow statuses to proc and kill them immediately after along with spreading statuses.
Situate slams so that enemies are a bit further away from the epicenter to avoid oneshots since slams do fall off with distance.
Use normal slams instead of heavy slams.
Does magnetic proc influence via the forced electricity proc when breaking a shield or overguard?
It does not work in my testing
As much as I'm enjoying one shotting anything within 25m of me 5 times a second with mid tier, zero forma melee weapons, I think this needs to be nerfed into the ground (even dropping range to 10m it would still be ridiculously good), especially after the status changes and the new blast status. Slap it on anything with 20%+ status chance, mod for Blast/Electric, put weeping wounds on. If you want to see how utterly busted you can go, try it on something like Bo Prime incarnon with 60% base status, and 7.5m melee range.
Sure you can headshot/oneshot that demolyst with your latron or whatever but for everything else this arcane is so far above anything else in the game right now.
Remember when they nerfed ammo for aoe weapons because the kuva bramma was too much AOE? Well this is significantly more outrageous and you can put it on any melee. If power fantasy is your thing and you haven't tried this, you are missing out on the most busted thing I've ever used in warframe. This arcane is the best nuke in the game, not even a discussion.

Not great against bosses and stronger enemies that resist status.
The issue with Kuva Bramma wasn't that "was too much AOE" but rather that the AOE was being done autonomous, it was a set and forget type of build, encouraging AFK gameplay.
This arcane 1) doesn't refresh while active 2) can't be triggered by spectres 3) requires status damage to be rolled continuously.
As you can see this encourages an active playstyle, the only thing it has in common with your example is that it's and AoE that is "easy" accessible, you could say the same for Volt, Saryn, etc.
Can this work with excalibur exalted melee?
Could not get it to work with any exalted weapons or seudo exalted either like whip claw etc

Did some testing and found out that "within 20 meters" means within 20 meters of the struck enemy, meaning the full range of this arcane can potentially be 20 meters plus your modded melee range when you hit enemies at the very farthest you can reach.
Yo this thing is getting a huge relative buff vs. grineer if the armor changes discussed in the latest devstream get implemented - armor cap of 2700 would be massive, might make gas + electric the next melee meta using this arcane
I have a Tenet Agendus with 54% Magnetic, got it to get a better element to fuse in to get near 60% later, never bothered to.
Electric+Gas+Magnetic is nuts. Its really weird how good that combo is, particularly with viral coming from a pet/companion
Adding blast is also devastating, the room just... well, explodes ;-)

Just passin trou... this shit is broken af, a single electric melee can nuke an entire room with a x12 heavy attack. Hell, almost any melee can do it with the normal wounds-blood rush-CO build

Volt's shock trooper adds +% electricity to any weapon you use.
As long as you don't have a singular element assigned to your melee (or, run another base element on your frame like you could with ember/saryn/frost + helminth shock to get dual elements "for free"), this will work.
It behaves like a normal element mod which can mix and match.
Its really bad with revenant as you can't proc influence by hitting your thralls nor can you spread statuses to them when it is procced.

I'm suprised so few people talk about this arcane.
This + exodia force on a zaw with high status change + weeping wounds is beyond devastating.
Netracell solo with my Wisp is a cakewalk, it doesn't much against the rogue Voidrigs though.
Exodia force was a bug, they fixed it proccing off melee influence status spreading.
OP here: it does still seem to do something.
Innodem with this arcane does less damage then a zaw I made with less base damage.
Have Nautilus group them & 1 or 2 hits just nukes everybody in a 20m or more radius.
Roar makes it double dip again I guess?
Can confirm that Exodia Contagion projectiles can proc the buff and spread status with it.
If you use this on Voruna in conjuction with her 1, you can guarantee an electric proc. So you can build your Zaw to maximize the Exodia Contagion damage, but still get the status chance needed to proc melee influence.
Honestly not sure how to build a proper Contagion Zaw, but you probably mean that you'd only need to put on a single Shocking Touch and no status mods/zaw pieces at all, right? Because I noticed that I need to build a LOT of status to procc electric with the Contagion projectile consistently, and it doesn't really have the frequency to make use of that status chance otherwise.
Still worth doing a crit zaw like balla/peye/vargeet II jai, her slashes are guarantee'd regardless of weighting, and you only need to get an electric proc to refresh the influence buff, not for every hit. Never tried contagion though tbh, already got a very momentum/set up heavy combo, and already AoE via the status nuke, influence just makes that much more reliable since you dont have to get good RNG to taxi the modded procs anymore, raksh just becomes extra priming that sometimes doubles the influence effect.
