Zanuka is Alad V's robotic pet created with parts of various Warframes, serving as his proudly announced product of the Zanuka Project. Both Alad V and Zanuka are encountered together on Themisto, Jupiter.
Behavior[]
Zanuka appears as a cyan armored robotic canine. It is highly aggressive and agile, capable of doing dodge rolls and jumping around terrain. It will continuously chase the Tenno while launching attacks. Aside from the basic claw strikes, it has several ranged abilities.
- Missile Strike: Launches several guided missiles, doing moderate damage. Due to their powerful guiding capabilities, the most reliable way to dodge them is still to hide behind cover.
- Frost Bomb: Launches a gray spherical bomb that explodes, inflicting
Cold damage and proc. - Dispel Bomb: Launches a spherical bomb that explodes, dispelling abilities. Uses when a Tenno has deployed a self-buff such as
Iron Skin. - Revive Alad V: Whenever Alad V's health is depleted before Zanuka is killed, Alad V collapses and Zanuka will immediately rush to his aid to revive him, restoring their shields if successful.
Strategy[]
Alad V cannot be taken down until Zanuka is slain first. However, its shields have innate damage reduction and therefore are extremely durable, but will vanish once Alad V's own shields are depleted. Avoid using 
Toxin damage against Alad, as they ignore shields.
In the event Alad V's health is depleted before Zanuka is killed, he will collapse in a state similar to bleedout, and Zanuka will immediately rush to his aid and bring him back on his feet, restoring a portion of his shields. Although Zanuka becomes an easier target when attempting to rescue Alad, it may be easier to ignore Alad after his shields are down and attack Zanuka until it is destroyed.
A stealth player attacking Zanuka at range can attack with impunity, as its Dispel Bomb ability only works within medium proximity (about 10 meters). An even more trivial approach can be utilized by Ivara who can attack from Dashwires placed above while in Prowl mode for full stealth and no repercussions. Of course, a silenced weapon is recommended for stealth play.

There is no reason Zanuka Hunter Beacon should cost 200D + 125k credits, it should only cost credits imo if we are only receiving measly orokin cells

Funny, the way, I defeated Alad V was by using Wu Kong. I made a copy and smashed him, ignoring Zanika and got him anyway. Don't know how that worked. Guess, my copy took care of Zanuka?
Zanuka can be Mind Controlled by Nyx. It will purge it when it uses Dispel Bomb though, or when Alad V gets downed it will still try to revive him.
Can't seem to find drop tables anywhere
Zanuka only drops Orokin Cells and that is already listed on the page.
Zanuka is an intermediate boss guarding the final boss Alad V that gives most of the drops for this mission.
So for anyone struggling with the steel path Alad V assassination, I can confirm after just trying it that a duration focused built for seeking shuriken ash and a heavy attack cerata build will make short work of them both. Basically all you have to do is head straight for Alad, strip his armour then spam ranged heavy attack with cerata and maintain invis. Zanuka will naturally rush to res Alad but that's what you want. Then as he's trying to res just keeping wailing in them both (cerata should preferably have volatile quick return for largest possible explosion radius). The damage should keep eating away at zanuka between res-ing Alad. As long as you keep the seeking shurikens going it should be over in about a minute or two. And if you keep downing Alad, Zanuka won't be able to get close to you and dispel invis anyway, so you should be safe the whole time. Long comment, I know, but hope this helps anyone struggling as I was.
Wat? It is on the goddamn page saying to not use toxin. Simply use Loki and a rad sniper, break Alad's shields then kill Zanuka, and only then Alad, no need to be 2+ min in the mission, even Vor takes more time to kill due to his gated health bar.
Just as lone tenno above says, this mission is a cakewalk, there's no real strategy involved. The thing is that most people is so used to oneshot Zanuka in normal mode that they forget they are suppose to deplete Alad's shield first so Zanuka lose it shields too in consequence and becomes a simple doggo you can easily kick from Jupíter to Pluto as usual. The other day a clan member was struggling with this mission after many tries and when I told him what he had to do first, he completed it in 4 mins and felt like an idiot lol
I found using Gloom/Sonar banshee with a high damage primary deletes Steel Path Alad V in seconds. Gloom stops them from moving while sonar multiplies the damage done in the glowing spots.
Then again, Banshee deletes most everything but is very much a glass cannon frame.
It took me quite a while to take this bad dog down.
Kinda annoying on the Steel Path since it keeps spamming Dispel Bomb. At least Magus Lockdown kept him immobile for a while.
Nothing on here mentions that it's the Corpus equivalent of The Grustrag Three. I would have thought that it would.

Yeah sorry, I realized that after I got attacked.
Solo, I wailed on Zanuka for about 2 minutes with no effect to his shields or health. Shotguns have no effect, and with melee, it dispels all buffs within a second or 2 every time you approach it. Got sick of getting nowhere with Zanuka so I went solely after AladV and finally succeeded. Still no sure how players are "one-shoting" these two; they usually kill them quicker than I can see how it was done.
Overdamage alad v and keep firing as zanuka runs into your crosshairs to revive him with its shields down.
most of the time, players use mesa and press 4.
personally i did it with valkyr's talon(with condition overload and heavy attack amp) and kuva nukor.
You don't especially need Condition Overload (still a rare drop mod for that early level of game) or a Kuva Nukor to take on Zanuka and Alad V for anyone reading this (I'm a bit confused about this persons progression, a Kuva Nukor on an early/mid node? Thought that would have been cleared way before they got into Liches and that side of things). Also, odd that this boss drops parts for Valk, but someone is recommending using the same frame to defeat that same boss.
Personally, Zanuka didn't load for me, and so I got to just kill Alad V with basically no effort.
So we cant get Valkyr parts from it anymore?

You can still fight Alad V & Zanuka normally on Jupiter; they even updated their boss arena. Jupiter just has two boss nodes now.
Instead of Moa pets why couldn't we have a Zanuka one? ;-; Id easily pay 5kP for one...
That would be cool but that would be like making a warmachine made out of human flesh. Just tenno flesh insteed. thats what a zanuka is like to tenno. a horrible monstrocity of tenno flesh and parts.

Dunno if this is new information or not, but apparently you can 1-shot Zanuka with Covert Lethality.

For Jupiter, kill Zanuka first, preferably with melee attacks to minimize ranged spam. Excalibur ult works great.
After that, Alad V can be killed normally.
I used Nyx's 1 to turn Zanuka on Alad and it worked prety well.
Who else wishes we could recover Zanuka as a future companion pet? After all, if it was made using Warframe parts, doesn't that mean it's connected to Helminth, the way our frames are?
Would be a nice idea, especially as I think it is unlikely that custom Warframes will ever be a possibility (for me, there's too many things to speculate upon and consider for that to happen).

Use toxin damage to bypass Alad's shield, and use magnetic to get rid of Zanuka's.
The easiest way to defeat this boss is with Mesa and a good secondary, I prefer the Euphona Prime but any secondary with good mods works. It takes me about 3 seconds to kill them both with Peacemaker.
I actually named my pet dog Zanuka.

What the hell happened it doesn't seem to be affected by radical blind anymore. Didn't use to be like that. She just dispels exalted blade over and over now despite being 'blinded'.
