The Granum Void is a set of challenges present on the Corpus Ship tileset, where players fight off Errant Specters in Parvos Granum's pocket of the Void to reap rewards. These challenges can only be accessed after completing The Deadlock Protocol.
Mechanics[]
On the Corpus Ship tileset, a Treasurer will appear within 2 - 5 minutes in a non-endless mission, and between 3 - 8 minutes in an endless mission. Killing the Treasurer will reward a Granum Crown, but if the Tenno takes too long he will escape and vanish. The type of crown the Treasurer drops is based on the mission's level;

From there players must locate a Golden Hand Tribute and interact with it, spending one Crown to access the Granum Void. These Tributes are scattered around the map, with some tiles having more than one Tribute available. Once a Crown is spent, Lotus will inform the squad that the Granum Void has been opened and urge other players to enter the portal before it closes after 30 seconds. Only the player that opened the Void will have their Crown consumed. There are 3 tiers of Granum Void missions based on what Token was spent, regardless of what planet the Crown was used in:
- Granum Void via Granum Crown
- Extended Granum Void via Exemplar Granum Crown
- Nightmare Granum Void via Zenith Granum Crown
In the Granum Void, players must kill as many Errant Specters as possible within 60 seconds. The timer can be replenished in two ways:
- Collecting particles (yellow triangles) either dropped by the Specters or occasionally found as is in the Void will add 5 seconds to the timer.
- Freeing Solaris captives (floating in the air, with a yellow mission marker) by killing the specters with
Xoris to stack charges and using its Charged Throw and detonating with Alternate Fire near a trapped Solaris will add 20 seconds to the timer. There are always 3 Solaris on the map, giving players an additional 60 seconds in total.
The Errant Specters become Specter Particles when "killed" and while harmless in this state, the Particles can be absorbed by any Errant Specters, increasing their level in the process. When fully charged, the Charged Throw of the Xoris can be used to instantly kill Errant Specters regardless of their level, breaking them down into Specter Particles which can be used to charge the Xoris once more.
Once the time is up or players have reached the highest reward Rank, all players in the Granum Void are teleported back to the standard map, and all Golden Hand Tributes will turn away from the player, preventing further access to the Granum Void for the rest of the mission.
Rewards[]
The reward table is based on how many Errant Specters players manage to kill before they leave the Granum Void;
- Rank 1: 25 Kills (+25 per additional squad member, 150 max)
- Rank 2: 50 Kills (+25 per additional squad member, 150 max)
- Rank 3: 75 Kills (+25 per additional squad member, 150 max)
Players are awarded for each Rank they qualify for, so qualifying for Rank 3 will additionally roll rewards from Ranks 1 and 2. In other words, players will get a reward from A, B, AND C reward tables upon qualifying for Rank 3.

Drop tables outdated? Readers can update Module:DropTables/data and cross reference with official drop tables on https://www.warframe.com/droptables.
Freeing captured Solaris will award Solaris United standing:
- Normal:
100 per captive,
300 total
- Extended:
200 per captive,
600 total
- Nightmare:
300 per captive,
900 total
If the player(s) qualify for at least Nightmare Rank 1 rewards, and have completed both The War Within and Call of the Tempestarii beforehand, a Candidate will spawn back on the Corpus Ship. The player that dealt the final hit to her will be allowed to Mercy her, generating a Sister of Parvos for that player.
Notes[]
- Players cannot interact with the Golden Hand Tribute if there are enemies nearby.
- Errant Specters do not drop pickups.
- However, abilities and augments that increase drop rate, such as
Energy Generator,
Exothermic,
Reaping Chakram,
Spectrosiphon, and
Synth Deconstruct, will cause Specters to have a chance to drop orbs.
- However, abilities and augments that increase drop rate, such as
- Errant Specters do not contribute to Exterminate objectives.
- The Zanuka Hunter, Stalker, and Void Fissure Corrupted can appear inside the Void. They will be shunted out of the Void when the timer ends.
- During Survival missions, life support still runs out within the Void, so plan accordingly.
- Errant Specters do however, drop life support
Tips[]
- Due to lack of pickups, players should bring Team Bonus Consumables and weapons with high reserve ammo, modded with ammo efficiency or with infinite self-regenerating ammo to help alleviate the lack of drops.
Xoris is the best weapon for this game mode, due to its ability to instantly kill specters and free captured Solaris, particularly when paired with a full-auto, one-handed secondary.
Mesa's
Peacemaker can be used to quickly kill enemies within range as long as energy is kept up. (Note: After Jade's Shadow the Peacemaker is unable to target specters)
Vauban's Tether in
Minelayer will not be able to grab and pull specters, however it will constantly attempt to do so dealing constant link damage and eventually killing specters and particles.
Volt's
Discharge can be used to soften up groups of enemies or outright kill them, and regenerate shields for defensive purposes with
Capacitance
Octavia's
Mallet can be used to passively damage specters as they attack, as long as they are within range and line of sight of the Mallet.
Revenant's
Danse Macabre can be used to quickly kill specters from a decent range. Stand on a rock as the beams damage things below the level of Revenant's outstretched arm, but not above it.
Mirage's
Prism with max range can make easy work of specters. Use
Natural Talent to speed up the casting time.
Wukong's
Celestial Twin should make this mission more bearable, particularly when attempting it solo.
Trivia[]
- The Lotus serves as mission control for the Granum Void, despite her complete lack of involvement in The Deadlock Protocol.
Bugs[]
- Freeing captive Solaris before accessing the Granum Void may disable all abilities when accessing the Void and even after it, so either refrain from freeing Solaris before accessing the Void or avoid them altogether.
Wisp's
Reservoirs placed outside the Void will allow her to teleport to them through
Breach Surge. She cannot reenter if the Void gate is closed, and is barred from collecting rewards if she remains outside.
- If the Zanuka Hunter enters the mission before the player accesses the Granum Void, and is not defeated, the Zanuka Hunter may teleport the player back outside of the void. The player cannot reenter if the Void gate is closed, and is barred from collecting rewards if they remain outside.
- Using Transference immediately after returning from Granum Void can cause the animation to replay on the Operator.

Patch History[]
Hotfix 33.0.7 (2023-05-09)
- Fixed the Granum Void particle pickup SFX being heard from outside of the Granum Void.
Update 32.3 (2023-02-15)
- Increased the pickup range of the time-increasing particles in the Granum Void.
- With its former pickup range, you had to basically be exactly aligned with the particles in order to pick them up. The difficulty to collect was also exacerbated by them dropping high off the ground, requiring even more precision while jumping. The slight increase to the pick-up range makes grabbing these more forgiving, while ensuring players still need to seek them out to earn the time bonus! We’ll be monitoring these changes to see if further tweaks to pick-up range need to be made.
Update 32.0 (2022-09-07)
- Fixed the Granum Void target being enabled in the Grendel Locator missions.
Update 29.2 (2020-09-29)
- Fixed issues with missing Granum Void portals when a certain spawn tile is used in the Remastered Corpus Ship.
Update 28.3 (2020-08-12)
- Fixed regular mission objective markers appearing in the Granum Void.
Hotfix 28.2.1 (2020-08-01)
- Fixed Arbitration Drones spawning in the Granum Void.
Update 28.1 (2020-07-08)
- Golden Hand Shrines will no longer be accessible in Invasion missions if you don’t side with the Corpus.
- This also fixes Golden Hand Shrines consuming a Granum Crown but not opening the Granum Void if you were sided with a Faction other than Corpus.
- NPC’s spawned within or brought into Granum Void (Beacon summoned Assassins, Rescue Targets, etc) will now be teleported back to the Corpus Ship alongside you when the timer expires.
- This also fixes NPCs spawned in Granum Void resulting in a teleportation ping-pong between the Corpus Ship and Granum Void upon the Granum Void timer running out.
- A Revive Tower will now be spawned beside the Golden Hand Shrine if a player goes down within the Granum Void in a Corpus Ship Arbitration mission.
- This fixes missing Revive Towers upon exiting the Granum Void and Resurgence Tokens still spawning, resulting in imposing the stacking Resurgence Burden debuff for the rest of the mission unless the "lost" player leaves.
- Fixed ability to go over the Void Traces cap from Granum Void rewards.
Hotfix 28.0.6 (2020-06-24)
- More Lotus VO has been added to the Granum Void upon intro, success, partial/fail.
- A waypoint marker will now dynamically appear for the nearest Golden Hand Shrine when the Granum Void opens to help players find them.
- Fixed ‘Abilities In Use’ persisting after entering the portal to the Granum Void.
- Fixed Xoris charges not depleting for Clients in Granum Void if the Host is absent.
Hotfix 28.0.5 (2020-06-17)
- The Granum Void will now close when the player(s) reach the Rank 3 requirements instead of having to wait out the timer.
- You’ll now gain Solaris Standing upon freeing the Solaris captives in the Granum Void! The amount of Standing gained is dependent on saving all 3 captives is dependent on the tier of Granum Crown used:
- Granum Crown: 300 Solaris Standing
- Exemplar Granum Crown: 600 Solaris Standing
- Zenith Granum Crown: 900 Solaris Standing
- Added a FX to the Granum Void Timer HUD when time has been added to aid in conveying the mechanic of increasing your time by picking up Errant Specter Particles.
- Fixed a spawn point in Granum Void that could be exploited to force mass hordes of Errant Specters to spawn and be killed in rapid succession.
- Fixed being pulled into the Granum Void if a player opens the Granum Void and another player spends a Granum Crown to rescue a Solaris prisoner in the Corpus Ship.
- Fixed crash when being Revived during bleedout while exiting the Granum Void.
- Fixed Clients who join a Granum Void in progress not having their Granum Void UI.
- Fixed the Granum Void UI freezing or disappearing if you die and Revive.
- Fixed Granum Void sub 10 second timers not showing the 0s upon exiting.
- Fixed Granum Void enemy count affecting the Exterminate mission objective kill-counts.
- Fixed AI in the Corpus Ship Exterminate tileset running to the end of the map after you enter the Granum Void.
Hotfix 28.0.4 (2020-06-12)
- Added Lotus VO when a Granum Crown has been used in a Golden Hand Tribute.
- Fixed a script error when initiating the Granum Void portal.
Hotfix 28.0.3 (2020-06-12)
- Increased Granum Void kill requirements as players join. Each new player will increase the kills required for each Rank by 25:
- 1 player: 25, 50, 75
- 2 players: 50, 75, 100
- 3 players: 75, 100, 125
- 4 players: 100, 125, 150
- The Granum Void is intended to be a challenge worth taking. It can be tough for a Solo player, but considerably easier with a squad. These changes aim to provide a little more even level of challenge across the board.
- You’ll now have temporary damage immunity upon returning to the Copus Ship from Granum Void.
- Fixed a script error after returning to the Corpus Ship from the Granum Void after a Host migration.
- Fixed a script error when returning to the Corpus Ship from Granum Void after recently Reviving.
- Fixed a script error when entering the Granum Void.
Hotfix 28.0.2 (2020-06-11)
- Fixed entering the Granum Void with upwards velocity resulting in flying through the sky into a void-out zone that sends you back to the Corpus Ship.
- Fixed a script error when entering into the Granum Void.
Hotfix 28.0.1 (2020-06-11)
- Fixed Granum Void enemies not spawning if under control by your Kuva Lich.
Update 28.0 (2020-06-11)
- Introduced.

Quick guide with easy-to-access equipment, no Xoris needed
Mag
Any high-damage Shotgun
Build for range and duration
Press 2 targeting a Specter
Pump pellets into it
Watch Specters get pulled into it and die
Repeat
Grab time extensions as needed
Grofit
No specific Warframe nor primaries nor secondaries needed for the Granum Void. Only the Xoris.
For the Errant Specters: Jump upwards, then throw the Xoris at the Errant Specters on the way up and at the Specter Particles on the way down.
First free the three Solaris captures to get additional 60 secs time (3x20 secs) then focus on the Errant specters who spawn (usually) as triplets. You can stay more or less at one position because they will home in to you.
Have an eye on time ups next to you. Each will give you 5 additional seconds in Granum Void.
Hth
Found more success throwing the Xoris at spectres while slowly backing up towards the Solaris Captives for extra time rather than just focusing spectres like the other commenters
Imho it's the only reliable way to get to Rank 3 at all difficulties and I tried a lot of different methods over the time.
The real challenge with this is getting enough crowns to get every important thing in this game mode.
Not really. Go and open some relics in the appropiate mission nodes:
+ Skyresh (Phobos) - Capture
+ Triton (Neptune) - Rescue
+ Hydra (Pluto) - Capture
If you play public (in a squad) then usually you get the crowns but are not forced to go into the Granum Void because everybody is rather interested to finish the mission as fast as possible instead of using them to enter Granum Void.
Did the extended nightmare with Volt. Killed everything i found, freed all 3 captives, got like 45 kills. There just wasn't enough reds to kill. What takes?

Okay i did it, i'd say don't go rescue the prisoners unless they're near, it's not worth it.

Seriously, this mode sucks. I got everything setup right, only need more kills.

Found some kind of spawning point for some of them. Still only 87.
Just use mesa lmao, easiest kills ever
~Comment issue resolved~
Just farm for plats and buy the frame from market....its the easy way....
41 capture runs on Pluto haven't got the system. Guess I'll just farm plat and buy off the market then
Dont fold

Lmao
Granum Void reward C's drop table is wrong: It's actually Stahlta Receiver 100%
Fr dude, it's been nothing but back-to-back Stahlta receivers for the past 20 runs. The big blue vein in my forehead threatens to burst every single time I end a mission and gaze upon my abysmal luck. I yearn for the days when I thought Citrine was the worst grind.
So after grinding all Tenet weapons and protea, i got some tips for the void:
To kills the specters quick for Rot C protea parts, use Mesa
Jump on a rock, peacemaker, shoot everything in sight, mod for max radiation + viral
When you have enough practice you wont even have to pick up the pyramids for time
For Tenet weapon farming, use either Atomos or Larkspur on any frame
Again mod for radiation + viral
Do keep in mind that when you kill the specters they turn ethereal so you must maintain the bean until they really die, you only need 30 kills to span the sister so no need to overkill
One of the worst grind ever...it either you get lucky or you have to do hundreds of boring mission over and over again and waste a lot of your time.
Hi. The Granum Void isn't hard. Use the Xoris. It was designed for this.
This was me, made an account shortly after.
Get ready to "win" zillions of ugly "Mortuus Shoulder Guard" instead of Protea parts while doing countless hours boring and repetitive Granum missions.
Enjoy playing Warframe!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKHh3bEDzaI
Worst part of the shoulder guard is that it's literally just a big fat nothingburger for rotation C
Reading these comments you would think this is one of the worst grinds in the game, it is not, got all drops possible in less than 30 C rotation runs spread over all three granum voids, good luck tenno!
I did four missions and got all protea parts in less then 20 mins. easy-peasy. Good luck gullible tenno!
Prime examples, that some brains just can't comprehend the simple concept of randomness.
32 runs in rotation C with no drop, I love rng system
I have run the void over 250 times without any protea parts.
Start from the lowest level Granum and the luck may be with you ;)
+100 runs .. no drop chassi...
Sheetsi
10 Runs Venus Assa
10 Runs Venus sabotage
1 Run Iliad Phobos Assa ... dropped here.
I wish I could exchange all these stahlta for protea parts, or for a chance for the sisters to spawn with something useful instead of diplos or plinx every time.
*Do not do it after captured the target in capture mission, it cause as finished mission and stop Errant Specters from spawning.
Worked for me
