Notes[]
- Added in Update 10.0 (2013-09-13).
- This Mod reduces or eliminates firing noise. Enemies that are not killed quick enough will still be alerted.
- Shooting a silent Weapon within 6 meters of an enemy or at the terrain near an enemy will cause them to stop and look around, but will not change their actual alert state.
- Applying this Mod on a high damage Weapon (such as the
Latron Prime) will make it suitable for stealth combat, making it a decent alternative to a bow.
- At max rank, Hush will allow
Ivara to stay invisible while
Prowl is active.

"A rank 5 Hush Mod (100% Noise reduction) will allow Ivara to stay invisible while Prowl is active." Shouldn't this say a "rank 3 Hush mod"?
Fixed, thanks.
One of the only mods I didn't have for some reason. I traded a guy just now for this Hush Mod, entirely free for me- but I gave him a Furax Riven as thanks.
How and what do I need to do in order to unlock the mod Hush?
You kindly ask in trade chat and someone will give you one for free.
A "common" mod with a less than 1% chance drop from two very specific enemies.
In this day and age it makes far more sense to simply slap this on a Rubico Prime than to bother with a bow at all. Bows are an antiquated category of weapons.

I often play with Rubico Prime + this mod on Ivara.
I like it :>
where do i get it ?
I got the problem, that I use the mod in my sentinels weapon (Carrier Prime with Prime Laser Rifel).
But when the Carrier Prime uses Looter enemies got alerted. Does somebody else got this problem?
The problem isn't the spelling (except Rifle), it's the grammer
1 year later: Crates make noise when opened. Real life experiment: try silently smashing a plate in your kitchen and see if anyone gets pissed.
I didn't think people could actually be this stupid, but here comes Kektik to prove me wrong. Let me put it in a way you might just understand how stupid that comparison is: Take an Ogris or Kulstar or any weapon that might make a lot of noise IRL or in-game, slap their variant of hush on the weapon, go fire that weapon in a mission and come back and tell us how much sense that makes.
Here's my answer to your question, Hush is on your Sentinel's weapon right? Looter does not use the Sentinel's weapon. By it's description it uses a " wave of energy that destroys all breakable Storage Containers within 12 meters ". So a mod on your weapon would not affect it. So there you go, finally answered after almost 3 years, hopefully it didn't bother you too much though(other than probably breaking stealth xD).
We need another mod that does the same thing as hush, but also something else, and costs a bit more. As max hush is only 5 drain. Would be nice to have some damage or reload speed or max clip size dual stat in a 10 cost card.
you mean like those nightmare mode mods? wouldn't it be a little weird? ok so the Seeking Fury mod for example it reduces the reload speed for 15% which is only half of the Tactical Pump mod so in additionto that it added extra punch through but about this mod i don't think it's gonna work out so if they just gonna add 100% chance of enemies not hearing the gunshots and something extra wouldn't it be a win-win? that's just overall my personal opinions i would love to know how you think about this subject
Primed Hush calling it right now.
16 capacity cost with the same 100% noise reduction :D
This appears not to work with Ignis.
Stealth received a
stealth nerfunlisted change in U18.1. Now enemies are alerted by any deaths within 5m, regardless of which way they were facing. Unless you're invisible, enemies will probably spot you when that happens.easy way to make unending stealth streaks. tonkor with hush & firestorm. you get bonus for entire groups. focus farm made easy
you sure the body wasn't spotted ?

DE should make the sound effect of weapons equipped with this mod to be actually silent, wouldnt be logical if you can still hear it but everyone dont
Redeemer: A big sword with a built-in shotgun that you could hear from the other side of the Origin System. Unless, you know, if you're not a Tenno.
make a silincer sound effect why not?
Make a suppressor affect duh
You mean like how the karak wraith sounds?
tried this maxed on a vectis prime still alerted every enemy in the room not sure if it was an error on my part of the mod siply doesen't effect the vectis prime?
If the enemies see the person you killed, they are still alerted
What does the new dimond thing on this mean?
i actually want to know that myself, only thing i figured out is that the tetragram symbol is present on this mod, maglev, all stance mods, fusion cores and a few other "utility" mods for weapons.
Only thing i can speculate is another exilis-slot coming up for weapons...
k
Assuming you mean the diamond to the left of the 'Hush' mod name - this means it is useable in both conclave and general missions. Also, If there is a conclave symbol, the mod can only be used in conclave. If there is no symbol, the mod can only be used in General missions.
Anyone else noticed how hilarious is the scene despicted in the mod?
Now that you mention it yeah. Saw your comment and yeah, its pretty hilarious. GG for spotting that mate!
this + opticor = Silent Lazer
Opticor was always silent, even though it says alarming. You're wasting a mod space :)
It's true, the Opticor is my primary weapon in Spy missions, I one shot anything with it and no one hears anything even without Hush.
I just noticed that the effect has changed to "+X% chance that enemies won't notice shot", paraphrased
What does this mod do in PvP?
Works the same way in Normal Gameplay. Not sure if the values might be different.
It makes your weapon more quiet.
Used to be worthless mod but if you want to power level weapons put it on at max and do a stealth misson I fully ranked my ignis in 20mins and it was fun :D
how to spy 2.0
1° put hush on your favorite weapon
2° kill stuff
3° ???
4° profit.
