Still can't refil Death Well while Shadow is active. Just one thing this mod would be good for.
Isn't the range supposed to be 16m like sow is?
This augment is insane. There's one very interesting interaction that turns Sevagoth into mini Saryn.
When used with Shadow, the Sow's duration is based on Shadow's duration stat, not Sevagoth's.
With that, it's now possible to have max duration Sow, while having minimum duration on Sevagoth to retrigger the Shadow Haze ghosts as often as possible.
So if someone is interested in a nuke build:
Build shadow for full Duration, while sevagoth for negative duration and huge range
Equip this and Shadow Haze augment on Sevagoth
Enter Shadow, Press 3, leave Shadow --> do it every 30~ish seconds depending on build
Keep killing enemies with your weapon
If reap debuff runs out on enemies (you have 2s to kill them), press Reap.
This will turn almost every kill you do with Sevagoth into a giant AoE %health based nuke in entire room, on a 0.75s cooldown.
Due to negative duration, Gloom is a subsume slot.
You can use the Shadow Claws with this, but because we're focusing on duration his survivability will be lacking so you gotta compensate somewhere.
Have fun.
Now they have to fix Shadow and we are complete :)
On god
I hate when Sev's Shadow breaks
Obligatory "Exalted shadow is basically a free helminth slot, as it's not really ever going to compete with just spamming the 1 2 1 combo", and this augment doesn't really help with that. At least Shadow Haze gave 3 quick casts if trash mobs died before the beefier ones. Sow doesn't last long enough to justify trying to spread it.
When pushing that specific playstyle of Sevagoth aside...The double augment setup is actually really nice. Sow combined with Shadow Haze allows for psuedo-death explosion chains(killing one target summons a shadow that causes an additional explosion that kill more enemies), and this allows it to happen while remaining as the Exalted Shadow.(on the off chance you like using it)
A more interesting quirk of the augment is that while Shadow Haze's clones scale with Sevagoth's Stats, Dark Propagation's Sow effect scales with the Shadow's stats instead. This gives more breathing room for negative duration on Sevagoth. Lowering the duration also reduces the likelihood of the Shadow Haze's clones running off somewhere, and can generally increase the explosions per second thanks to the refreshing of them.
Of course a shorter duration also means you'll have a shorter duration on reap clones, so you'll be spamming Death's Harvest more if you didn't care about the explosion combo before. I personally prefer it over a pure combo build though, as it's less spam then that at least.
Spread uses Sow's remaining duration, it doesn't refresh the debuff timer.
This also allows your Shadow's 3 to trigger the Sow/Reap explosive combo if you use both augments at once. I don't play Sevagoth enough to know how useful that is but it'll probably be fun.
Chain detonations is what it does :)
