Void Cascade is an endless Mission type introduced in Update 31.5 (2022-04-27). The Void threatens to disrupt the Zariman Ten Zero's systems and the Tenno must cleanse the Exolizers of Void Manifestations to prevent total cascade, while also fending off invading Corpus or Grineer.
Access to this mission requires completion of the Angels of the Zariman quest.
Mechanics[]
Periodically, a Void-possessed Exolizer will spawn, contaminated by multiple Void tears. The contaminated Exolizer has a barrier with a 20-meter radius that forces Transference on entry, similar to an Orphix Field. The tears must be closed using the Operator/Drifter's
Void damage Amp or Void Sling, which will spawn a Void Manifestation above the Exolizer. Destroying the manifestation will purge the Exolizer, deactivate the Transference-disrupting field, and spawn a Thrax Centurion in its place, who will threaten to repossess the Exolizer if not defeated quickly enough; the Centurion is a formidable foe that possesses Overguard and defeating its physical form will revert it into a spectral entity that must be finished off with Operator/Drifter damage before it regains its physical form.
As the mission progresses, additional Centurions aided by Thrax Legatus will spawn in and attempt to possess any purged Exolizers. Centurions can only possess Exolizers while in their physical form; forcing them into their spectral state will interrupt the possession. Legatus will not attempt to possess Exolizers, but will instead intercept players and defend Centurions.
Players must monitor a Cascade gauge that fills in the presence of Void-possessed Exolizers. Purged Exolizers will linger on the field for 90 seconds while they tick down, passively reducing the Cascade gauge. Killing enemies within 20 meters of a purged Exolizer will cause them to be absorbed into the Exolizer, reducing the Cascade gauge. Once a purged Exolizer has expired, it will be counted towards the total number of purged Exolizers. Retiring 4 purged Exolizers counts for one rotation, and will open extraction.
If the Cascade gauge fills completely, all Exolizers will despawn. If extraction is not yet available, the mission ends in failure. Otherwise, the Tenno are immediately directed to extract. All squad members' health will start draining, similar to when Life Support reaches 0% in a Survival mission. Should the Tenno linger too long after the Cascade gauge has filled, the mission will end in failure.
Some of Quinn's Bounties that involve Void Cascade may have a special condition that requires the Tenno to keep the Cascade Gauge below 50%, meaning players have to work faster on purging corrupted Exolizers. If the Gauge hits exactly 50% before completing one rotation, the mission will immediately fail.

Tips[]
- The key to ensuring that the Cascade Gauge remains low is to ensure that there are more purged Exolizers than possessed ones. Having at least one purged Exolizer more than possessed ones will cause the Gauge to drop, and an equal number will cause the Gauge to remain still.
- Fast moving Warframes such as
Gauss,
Wukong,
Nezha,
Titania,
Yareli and
Zephyr excel in this mission as they can quickly get to spawning Exolizers in the other rooms.
- Possessed Exolizers will deploy in predetermined points across three distinct tiles in a similar manner to how Orphix are deployed in Orphix Missions. This allows players to anticipate where the next Exolizers will deploy and move there ahead of time.
- Exolizers may deploy once every 30 seconds after the previous one, signified by a distinct sound.
- If playing in a squad, it may be worth having some players remain in previous rooms with the purged Exolizers to protect them from potential Thrax repossessions.
- Additional Thrax Centurion and Legatus spawns become more frequent as the mission progresses, with some appearing immediately after an Exolizer is purged at higher levels.
- The Operator/Drifter does not need to be inside a possessed Exolizer's disruption field to shoot and seal the tears with their Amp.
- Lega Prism and Klamora Prism are highly effective at closing Void rifts due to their wide range and continuous stream.
Bugs[]
- Although rare to achieve, if the player extracts with cascade guage filled and the player dies with Last Gasp activated while inside the elevator, returning to the Chrysalith and entering Operator mode will cause the player to collapse inside the hub. The player can still interact with most of the UI but will be unable to move, and the Last Gasp cursor will remain on screen outside of menus and the Arsenal, with the only way to fix it is to exit the Chrysalith and re-enter.[1]
- Said bug also causes issues when viewing the Arsenal, such as haphazardly shrinking the mod screen after Fast Travel is used (though the size of the UI when checking Arcane descriptions in the loadout is unchanged), and causing the currently-equipped Warframe to lose their head in the ability screen.

- Updated the Anti-Warframe field (Exolizers in Void Cascade) to no longer nullify Warframe abilities on forced Transference. As mentioned in the Hotfix 31.5.10 notes.
- Void Cascade Mission Changes:
- In-Mission Tutorial Screen: We have added a new tutorial screen in the Void Cascade mission! To access it, simply open the main menu and select the “i” icon in the bottom right corner. This is the first tutorial setup of its kind, and we will be slowly considering more tutorials of this nature based on the feedback we receive.
- Moved Mission progress tracker above the Threat meter.
- Added tracker for successful rounds to Mission UI.
- Reduced the amount of different Threat states to 4. The Threat states are now:
- THREAT: MINIMAL
- THREAT: MENACING
- THREAT: SEVERE
- THREAT: CRITICAL CASCADE
- Increased the transition time between threat states so that you can spend more time in the last one before transitioning.
- This now triggers a final state that has a 5 minute timer before extraction.
- Added message for when Thrax are corrupting an Exolizer.
- Added mid-mission icons to the first set of Void rifts encountered during the Void Cascade mission in the Angels of the Zariman Quest.
- Tweaked timing of transmissions during Void Cascade missions.
- Fixed the final State (CRITICAL CASCADE) immediately triggering, now you can exist in the final threat state before it ends.
- General Zariman Mission Changes & Fixes:
- Added individual extraction to endless Zariman missions (Void Cascade, Void Flood, and Void Armageddon).
- In order to solo extract from endless Zariman missions, simply head to the elevator and hold to extract at the panel. Traditionally, in other endless missions you could solo extract by waiting out the timer at the extraction point, but doing that here will only extract once all team members have joined you in the elevator. We may explore this option for Zariman missions, but for now manual solo extraction is available!
- Fixed glass material flickering if there is active VFX behind it (notably with the yellow Exolizer bubble in Void Cascade missions).
- Fixed certain Warframes (notably while using Yareli’s Merulina and Sevagoth’s Exalted Shadow) losing functionality and getting stuck in t-pose after entering the Void Cascade Exolizer anti-Warframe bubbles.
- FIXES:
- Fixed Nidus’ Virulence not always creating a trail for Host if stomping down on forced Transference bubbles from above (such as in Void Cascade).

All the premade groups wanna run till a billion Exolizers, all the randoms leave after 4. Or you get to 14 and the host quits and breaks the lobby. I just want to get C drops. Straight up not having a good time.
Hands down one of the best missions in the game.
This mission has no difficulty modifiers or gear restrictions like Elite Deep Archimedea yet it's difficult enough to where if you even mess up once, you get severely punished. It's basically like an advanced version of Interception, you can definitely do it solo but you get rewarded by doing it with an experienced squad. And don't even get me started on Void Cascade Fissures. Nullifiers and Ancient Healers everywhere.
If you're looking for a place to challenge the general effectiveness of your build in Steel Path, Void Cascade is the place.
This game mode is too confusing. I hope it never comes back again.

Its pretty simple. Go in spooky bubble, shoot void cracks with amp, shoot floating figure to make them become physical, shoot floating figure when they become physical, and finally....shoot floating figure with amp after killing the physical form.
I like it for the gameplay. Omni fissure Void Cascade level cap (100~120 exolifiers) is the most fun I've ever had in Warframe.

After the first Exolizer complete, timer for the next one is countdown and stop at 30s and Thrax enemy for kill is keep spawning like 1/1minute. and I can't progress anymore. so annoying when I farm resources, dropped what I want so many But I can't finished the mission. -_-

If you are grinding Steel Path Void Cascade for Arcanes you need to know this:
The worst thing you can do is to Slow Down the Thrax Enemies, because if you do they take a LONG time to switch to their Ghost Form. If you are playing Frost or Sevagoth and Players are leaving your Squad, thats why. Same for Lua Survival.
When you clean an Exolizer the Thrax it spawns will not try to retake it, it will follow you instead. Before klling the Thrax, go clean other Exolizers and then kll all Thrax at the same time.
If the mission looks like its going to fail but more than half the available Exolizers are Yellow dont worry. Also there is no Loot Loss on Fail, play until the mission kicks you out (unless you run out of Lives)
DO NOT try to fight the Angel, its just not worth it.
Most importantly: Zariman Endless Missions have Solo Extraction. If you are in the Elevator and the Host Solo-Extracts you will LOSE ALL YOUR LOOT. To prevent this Solo Extract before the Host or enter the elevator only if all Players are nearby. (I lost 50 Arcanes to this)
TL;DR: DO NOT SLOW DOWN THE THRAX (no Gloom, no Nova, no Frost, no Cold Statuses)
WF abilities do not slow down the Thrax animation (Gloom, Molecular Prime, etc), only Cold procs and Zenurik's Temporal Drag do. However, yes, it is annoying when the Thrax are slowed and it's good etiquette to avoid this
Tbh worsed game develpment i have seen. i know u can beat it easlily with madurai, but thats just it. this game mode is only possible with full tree on madurai. why would u make a game mode so specific to one setup. a disepointment once again.
I literally just got to 16 with an ungilded amp with Vazarin. You don't need Madurai. I've even completed 16 on Steel Path, not with the ungilded amp, and certainly not with Madurai...I've only ever completed the first waybound in that tree anyway.

Unairu works pretty well too if u need armor stripping, or zenurik for slow mo head shots. Madurai isn't madatory if u know what u're doing.
Oh yeah, spawn 2 exolizer 600m away from me, in which I have to parkour through several cluttered corridors to reach. Oh? The other 2 exolizer I was defending are now corrupted? Well screw you too DE
If you kill enemies within a golden Exolizer circle, it will reduce the Cascade meter. You can use this to stay back and defend while keeping the meter down. If you're solo, only 4 Exolizers will ever be active at one time. You can hold back and defend 1 Exolizer while 3 are waiting in another room ahead of you, because constant killing in the circle is more than enough to keep the meter down. You do not have to instantly run to a new Exolizer as soon as it spawns
Once the white diamond of the Exolizer you're defending is down to about 1/8, it's safe to leave it as any Thrax that spawn after this point will not have time to repossess it before it completes. So long as you've made an effort to keep the meter down you will have time to get to the next room where 3 are waiting for you, just be quick with your parkour and ignore enemies in the corridors
Yeah, you can do that with grineer, but i cant not stay more than 25-35 mins with the corpus and their F** bubbles. Sp tho, but again, SP is the only reason to do it and getting something.

Grineer are more of a problem because Trokarians are 100x worst than nullifiers.
The gamemode it self is very enggaging, play it just for weapon part and Arcane run in SP. But the reward rotation is super long and it lacks variety reward. :/ For real DE, stop putting money cache and endo. Its a waste of 5 minutes for a single rotation. This gamemode style should be the mirror defences, where people collect 'currency' and trade for parts for each Exo but DE didnt explore this. Mirror defence sucks because only Titania player actually do the job, meanwhile other just lazy ass afk vauban. We need more of this gamemode where eveyone is active on their role.
Yep, mirror defense is not bad, but sucks with afk people. This mode is way more intense and engaging especially solo.
With how good farming the thrax enemies are, you can't buff the rotational rewards.
If they just made it 3 exo's per C rotation, it would be much better. the game mode it fun, but grinding all the way to 18 minutes per full rotation gets old quick.
It's a hard choice between this and the railjack orphix mode for which one least likes solo players and which is most likely to cause long term annoyance. Orphix has no one playing it because railjack (i like railjack but not enough to ferry noobs into a mode i can't stand), while cascade has no one stay in for rotation C because DE decided that the best way to punish the players who did this mode was to add a 16 objective-point grind on top of a 10% RNG droprate for the weapon components. By far the worst farms in WF now are the ones tied to low % "rare" droprates in bounties or endless mission rot-Cs
It was quite a tough mission to take on, but thankfully i was able to easily complete it after solving the intellectual maze digital extreme had crafted with this mission type.
If i can offer you some advice, have you tried equipping loki prime or even titania prime warframe? excellent for this puzzle.

It was an enlightening experience to discover that a task as complex as this one was, in fact, quite simple for someone of my exceptional capabilities. Garbage game mode
This is by far the worst mission that DE designed. Always put fodder on time wasting mission. And fricking cache. They really should fire the mission designers. Conjunction survival? Survival but it's a little different. Crystal defense? Defense but with two points to defend.
Absolute garbage game mode.
Retiring 16 exolizers to get even a shot at at the weapon parts is pure torture, solo or with randos.

If you're new, use nezha since this mode is built for him like void flood is for titania. Use your blazing chakhram on the thrax to get a damage bonus on em and use a viral weapon and maintain your 3. his passive lets u get to other exolizers fast.

Killing enemies inside the bubble does nothing for speeding up the mission. Just to refill the gauge in your favor. But if you're constantly getting the Exolizers you dont need to rly care about the guage at all.
^ the speed up way is the most important thing, for each roll is sicking far part away if you left it unprotect it will doom, finished it as fast as possible is matter of all both fastest to roll C and finish the mission.
Yeah the speedup is literally required in solo so if you dont infuse pull you're fucked solo. Dumbest design ever its literally anti solo when no one sits around long enough for C rotation
