Uses[]
Lanthorns may be requested in random amounts as part payment by Archimedean Yonta for her rotating Voidplume offerings, and by Loid for his rotating Voca offerings. They are also required for crafting the following blueprints.
Gathering Tips[]
- Guaranteed drop from Netracell runs.
Chroma's
Elemental Ward,
Limbo's
Cataclysm, and
Xaku's
The Vast Untime modded for maximum range are effective at destroying storage containers. It is also advisable to bring weapons that deal AoE damage.- Extractors have a chance to yield Entrati Lanthorns.
Trivia[]
- Lanthorn is an archaic form of the word lantern.
- Entrati Lanthorn is named after the Entrati, probably to honor Albrecht Entrati as the first person who successfully accessed the Void, or because it was invented by the Entrati.
- The Entrati Lanthorn's model resembles an uncorrupted version of the Concoction used to access Isolation Vaults. While this could just simply be a reused model, this may indicate what the Concoctions were originally used for before the Infested overwhelmed Deimos.

I've been finding 1-3 every mission pretty consistently, but for the last couple of days I couldn't find a single one. Gruzzlers aren't dropping any, I think I'm going through the maps pretty thoroughly, but they're nowhere. If someone said these were removed I'd believe it lol.
These mfs gotta be the rarest thing that you need like 100 of
With the release of Sanctum Anatomica, you can easily farm alot of these. Make sure to kill any Gruzzlers you encounter in bounties.
Onos requires 6 lanthorns to craft and Ruvox requires 8 total lanthorns (4 to make two blades and 4 to make two gloves) but these aren't listed in uses.
It's a wiki, you could have added them yourself. They still aren't listed 2 months later.
Added
Rad damage with voidrigs is not a guaranteed drop as described in the wiki. Please fix that. I killed about 10 voidrigs with a rad damage fulmin, still only got 2 lanthorns.
Please tell me more about your Fulmin. It's possible a certain percentage of your damage output needs to be Radiation or there's some other condition that is always fulfilled by using the Abilities and Melee weapons that I used in my own testing.
Thanks for the tiny tidbit of info, at least! I suspect your Fulmin was dealing Radiation damage via an additional Heat mod, rather than Radiated Reload.
I've updated the page with the correct drop conditions.
You can passively gain a bunch of Lanthorns by playing in the Elbrecht Labs Tileset and killing Gruzzlings. Gruzzlings have a chance to drop 3 Lanthorns (6 with a booster) coupled with a Smeeta you should be able to get up to 12 if you get the correct buff. If you pair this with the other sources (endless mode rotation rewards + Rouge Nechramech kills) you can gain a bunch more. Highest I've got was 24 in a quick 5 min survival bounty.
P.S Had to make an account in case anyone wanted proof
Thank you

Sry I meant to write that down as a general comment.
Breaking crates using a crate nuker warframe in Zariman is the best way to get this. No other method comes close
Another option is running an endless Sanctum mission and killing the rogue necramechs, especially with Nekros desecrate.
For example Alchemy. I had an Alchemy omnia fissure, and got 3 in one run, using resource booster doubled to 6.
Sounds like a joke but this thing is a pain in the ass to get.
Guess I have shit luck then, because after four Zariman Exterminate missions and nuking every container on the entire map, didn't get a single one.
I had over 60 before whispers in the wall. Now I'm down to 30+. Yeah, not loving this trend. Especially when spare parts have been shot to $#!t.
This used to be obtainable when spare parts was a good mod. now, i get ~1 lanthorn per hour of farming. its stupid.
Is this a Region Resource for Albrecht's labs? Rogue Voidrigs are *not* listed as dropping them on the official drop tables, so I suspect they're actually set up to have a good chance of dropping a rare region resource, which happens to be the lanthorns?
Void Armageddon in Chrysalith is the way to get em quickly, got 12 on 2 run, while farming for Hespar's part.
What do you even get them from?? did a 15 minute run and only got 1 at the very end
It says that there's a "Small chance to drop from rogue voidrigs", to me they have been dropping every 3rd or 4th kill, Don't know if i'm just getting lucky but the chance doesn't seem to be super low.
These things don't exist they're a DE psyop and anyone claiming to have found one is in on it
They definitely drop from the Rogue Voidrigs in the Albrecht's Laboratories missions.
I did a Survival and got 5 of them, every single one dropped off a Voidrig, none were recieved elsewhere.
If I had to guess the droprate seems to be about 50%, though it might be affected by having been at 50 minutes
50%? Try more like 15%. After 30 minutes of survival and 8 voidrigs I only got 1 lanthorn.
15%? Try more like 100%. After 5 minutes of survival and 1 voidrigs, I got 1 lanthorn.
So, I've done this more lately and it's definitely related to how long of a survival you do, the first 20-30 minutes tends to be pretty bare, but into 30-90 minutes every other voidrig drops one and you can get the Culverins to summon a voidrig like once every 3 minutes ~ish. Went 90 minutes, got 12 of them (one was at 75 minutes from the surv). So regrettably going 30 minutes and only getting 1-2 is kinda typical, it picks up deeper into the grind, you could probably skip this "warm up time" with a drop rate booster though. Mind at 90 minutes the enemies were running lvl 310 or so.
Since the Holdfasts rank ups are in the table of blueprints needing Lanthorns, perhaps Cavia should be added as well now?
The fact that the game offers you to trade a Lanthorn for a Void Plume or Voca is frankly kind of a joke. The other way around it would be an awesome deal I'd take any day of the week, but who is seriously going to trade a rare and annoying to get drop for something you are basically guaranteed to find several of within any given mission?
....
I just farm this now in netracell, even if its only one per run, atleast its guaranteed
This resource is basically a way of telling you to get Xaku. Goddamn I'd rather be troubled by Nitain than this
Max range limbo works just as well :)
So does titania with nova subsume
They drop from nechramechs in Labs, are the drop chances ever going to be put up here? I need to know if it's more efficient to kill mechs or break crates on zariman.
I would say break crates, they're more abundant and have a much more likely chance given such. I've killed about 15 Necramechs so far and gotten one Lanthorn from them.
Ive been running a max range Qorvex build solo on Alchemy. Enemies seem to be the most frequent AND the most contained to one tile in Alchemy, so necramechs tend to be summoned more frequently. Got 9 drops just from necramechs in my last run, with boosters/smeeta this can easily yield you 20. Not to mention that its a Rotation B reward, although at only a 5% chance.
Just do netracells, itll reward you one per run tho, but atleast guaranteed
So the wiki gets updated with drops from new Lab nodes but still doesn't include ANY additions to blueprints requiring Lanthorns? Qorvex parts need them.
Don't complain, do it yourself
Would if i knew how to.

Netracell is a guarenteed drop of 1 of these, even after the 5 loot lockout per week
Thank you for this
Still surprised this page hasn't been updated with the WITW additions.
