Acceltra Prime is the Primed counterpart of the Acceltra micro-missile launcher, sporting increased damage, Critical Chance, Critical Multiplier, Status Chance, explosion radius, and Reload Speed, at the expense of some Fire Rate. Acceltra Prime was released alongside
Gauss Prime and
Akarius Prime.

- While sprinting, reload speed is increased by 25%, or 50% when used by
Gauss/
Gauss Prime. Without other mods, sprinting reload speed is 1.4 seconds, or 1.2 seconds with Gauss.
- The Acceltra Prime's rockets have a minimum arming distance of 7 meters, meaning that they will not explode if they make contact with objects or enemies within that range, and thus making the Acceltra Prime safe to use in close quarters combat.
- Arming distance is unaffected by Projectile Speed.
- Regardless, it's still possible to deal self-stagger if the wielder is moving fast enough (either through Maneuvers and/or using certain Abilities) to catch up to the rockets.
Trivia[]
- The mechanics of the Acceltra Prime are similar to Gyrojet firearms, which were developed in the 1960s and also fired small rockets that armed themselves as they traveled out of the gun. In real life, accuracy and reliability issues meant that the Gyrojets never entered mass production.
- The "fins" on the Acceltra's barrel are where the rockets are stored, and hatches on top of them open up while firing or reloading.

Lol, it's a chance to drop, not a guarantee if you do it 100 times. There's a universe in which it will never drop even if it had 90% drop chance. Depends on your luck eh.

Tiny nitpick but damn it’s a bummer how they didn’t add a toggle option for the arming distance of the rockets for Acceltra Prime. It’s a pretty reduntdant mechanic if you have plenty of options to prevent self-stagger (Gauss himself with his 2) and losing the explosion damage feels bad in close range.

Oh look, the AoE meta is back. 5m radial with only 50% falloff, and guaranteed crits with a 6.6x multiplier. Powercreep concerns? DE says "Eat shit."
But kuva tonkor can do 70% with 7m and 7.8x cd
@Skoomaseller I was being facetious, but you are correct. At least you have to actually build around things like Bramma though, with Acceltra Prime you just get the results without cost.

The explosion is also purely puncture slash.
Also Explosions have innate pushback, so even if the projectiles would not be pure Impact, it would still be hard to perfectly headshot with it
At least it's easy to spot the meta slaves and/ or trolls. This is a literal automatic micro-rocket launcher for starters. You only need to point it in a general direction and fire, everything there basically fucking dies. Secondly, looking at the stats, it has no head shot multiplier, as with all AoE launchers. Third, once again, rocket launcher. The AoE, if it doesn't turn the enemy into soup painted onto the wall, will stagger them anyway. And finally, Hunter Munitions exists if you want your slash status that badly. I genuinely don't understand why people care so much about that proc, like it's the only thing that matters. Sure it does powerful DoT, but you do realize at a certain level most things just end up dead before the first tick anyway right? You still have to worry about teammates and their weapons and abilities (spam) as well. And, if I haven't mentioned it yet, ROCKET LAUNCHER

Its absolutely not viable in SP. This gun is complete trash compared to literally any of the similar incarnons. Its performance pales in the face of the extremely similar Braton/Burston incarnon, and simply can't compare in the slightest to the Strun or Torid incarnons. It's only use is the same use that causes the normal acceltra to have such a terrible riven dispo: its great for clearing star chart. With a good build that includes a primed bane mod it doesn't even break 1m burst dps.
It is viable in SP. What your smoking? It's like you're a new player or something. People were doing level cap runs before incarnons or kuva/tenet weapons. You can use whatever you find fun. Get out of your stinky basement you dweller.

Lol, you don't need a gun that has 1m burst dps to be viable on Steel Path. Many weapons are viable. Maybe they don't oneshot everything in under a second, but that doesn't mean they're not viable.

Still substancial ammo issues, but slightly lowered fire rate helps here. Minor but still noticable crit stats buff and decent increase to base damage (especially projectile impact damage). Also trippled status stats, which is massive for such a crit heavy gun. Also slight increase of AoE range and better reload speed.

Was totally worth it, God he and his guns are an absolute blast. Especially the new sounds of the Akarius Prime firing.
Why buy prime access when a few bucks of cheaply bought platinum will net you the gun for far cheaper. Save the money for other games or bills or something, don't be a sucker and spends hundreds on one product.
