this fact is only currently true, they are making operator clothes fit the drifter. for example the zephyr deluxe suit now fits drifter

It's just cosmetic for the quest so it doesn't matter. After that you can change whenever you want.

In the grand scheme of things, it's purely aesthetics. Personally I'd prefer drifter because better fashion choices.

And because they don't talk once every minute during missions.

They have a different roll, I prefer the Drifter's but not by enough to pick based on that rather than who I fashioned last.

I went with operator because I have the Harrier set on her and she is decked out dripping. Operator looks like a dude trying to tomb raid.
