Finally, we’ve changed the effects on a few specific mods that increase explosive radius.
The mods Primed Firestorm and Primed Fulmination both offered a 66% increase in explosive radius, which is being reduced to 44%, matching the increase offered by other Primed mods. Primed Mods traditionally offer around double the value of the base Mods, but these two offered tripled value. This change is reflective of the Primed Mod standard.

Heard a rumor that this mod gives Incarnon Torid more chaining. Can anyone confirm?
Just tested, and surprisingly yes. Would love if somebody explains to me what causes that.
I actually just learned this. The primary beam creates a 3m aoe upon contact with an enemy or surface. Any enemies in that aoe can spawn secondary beam chains. Primed Firestorm increases the radius of that aoe, thus increasing the number of enemies spawning chains.
(It doesn't always look like there's a bajillion chains because they can follow the same path as each other. Only the chain spawned from the primary target will benefit from multishot. A chain will not hit the same enemy twice, but an enemy can be hit by multiple chains.)
I believe this section need more updates due to incarnon weapon

I find it hilarious they don't make a mod do what it's supposed to do, why are some weapons with BLAST RADIUS/RADIAL DAMAGE not get the buff??? Shedu cant benefit, Bubonico can't benefit, Is it because it'd be too str- NOT AN ARGUEMENT, shotguns, melee and secondary have more primed mods that offer more insane builds than "Rifles" ever get, like seriously why say you wanna bring Primaries/rifles inline with other weapons but then not do exactly that and leave them in the dust of ignorance?

And who is arguing that Rifles are weak? Rifles are generally most likely the strongest weapon class in the game. Rifles as a category has some insane options like Latron or Torid, but even outside of those few weapons, Rifles are generally stronger than other options.
High firerate, good sustainability, and low time to kill is very strong in a horde shooter game like Warframe, and most rifles are some mix of this. Supra Vandal is just a regular rifle with not much special about it, but still manages to be one of the best weapons in the game, due to possessing a very strong mix of high firerate, good damage per shot, large magazine and amazing ammo economy. Compare that to something like Kuva Hek, which may have higher damage on paper, but falls far behind in actual performance due to its low firerate and low magazine size.
Rifles are not a weak category, and I have no idea where you got this impression from, you don't need a big boom or a big blast of pellets if you can just hose down an entire hallway.
Perhaps the reason that you feel like Rifles are weak, is because you are running builds meant for other weapons on them? If you run a Viral HM build on Tenora Prime for example, it will perform extremely poorly compared to a Corrosive Rad build.
You want to build weapons to lean into their strengths, not to force them to be something that they're not, and, if you lean into and build Rifle weapons around their strengths, then they will perform much better than you have presented here.
(Bubonico isn't even a Rifle, why did you bring up Rifles and call them weak????)
I understand that pain. for the LONGEST time the explosive bows couldnt use it either. was quiet silly
For shedu it doesn't not affect the normal fire mode but it DOES affect the reload burst.
After the ammo nerfs this mod went from just optimal to absolutely mandatory even with the radius nerf, nice going DE.
Naw I don't think it's worth slotting anymore, you're better off putting in more damage or utility/QoL like reload speed.
Sad day. Veilbreaker update reduced blast radius from 66% to 44%.
They are nerfing the primed firestorm and primed fulmination into 66%->44% YET they are not bothered enough to meld this mod for all primary only/release shotgun version of explosion radius increase mod :/
Why would they release the shotgun version of this mod alongside a patch that nerfs AoE into the ground? That wouldn't make any sense. They are actively destroying AoE, not expanding.
Values will be reduced from 66 to 44% in the near future. Info for anyone interested in adquiring or leveling this mod.

What about shotgun ? Badly I dont think there is such mod for it, or yes furax almagam maybe but still.
This mod must be for primary instead of just rifle, it will not change thing on what ppl use (bramma and such) but will add different option.
It's back on Baro on PC, can't recommend it enough.
Works really well with all big AoE weapons it works on, specially those with big falloff like Bramma, increasing the damage up to 300% of the original "AoE edge" damage , so counts as a DPS increase on many applications.
If you don't have primed sure footed to handle it, you can have a Poor man's version of with with Sure Footed + Fortitude + Power Drift, which might fit well enough on some frames without much harm.
Cautious Shot in the exilus slot also works wonders with Pain Threshold

Yeah, so for those who somehow are not convinced, take my kuva zarr build primed firestorm + amalgam body count, gives my kuva zarr a 13m radius, 13m of pure pain (26m if we count total length/diameter), and because how falloff works. doing max damage with the AoE its so easier. but i hope you have primed sure footed before you test this, or you are a rhino with a good iron skin cause, its self staggering hell.
Not gonna lie, I was underestimating this mod during its first appearance on Baro's store. "Another meme mod" I said, because I don't use AOE Rifle/Bow.

I never grabbed it either, but it will be back within the next 6-12 months, that's how it normally works. Fools selling it for 500p on WF market, just be patient. Plenty of fun weapons that don't need a niche meme mod like this to be effective. You're weapon will be just fine waiting for you until then. :)

Lots of people focusing on the area or volume related to dmg falloffs, but nobody is talking about status spreading
Even with a tiny aoe (zhuge prime for exemple), can help proc some status on the nearby ennemies, and with the new galva CO, that's a direct upgrade in term of time per ennemy
The negligible damage at the edge of the increased aoe can also help clear extra weak scrubs
Essential with AoE weapons in any horde missions -- which is most of Steel Path. Extending the explosion when enemies are bunched together is a no brainer. Not so useful in Star Chart though. A damage mod will better serve you.
Weapons are already overkill in starchart, one shotting more mobs in a single shot is better. The only scenario Firestorm is not needed is against bosses, against nobody will take an aoe weapon anyway
Imo firestorm is just part of the mandatory mods for most aoe based weapons
Well, there are weapons with self stagger or even self dmg within aoe area, this could make some weapons very difficult to use in some maps.
