- For the resource, see Circuits.
The Circuit is an endless game mode that takes the player through the Undercroft of Duviri. It can be accessed after completing The Duviri Paradox quest.
Mechanics[]
As with all Duviri content, players begin in Teshin's Cave with a selection of randomly generated Warframes and weapons that change at the start of every Duviri spiral. This selection can be viewed within the player's Navigation Console, once you reach Rank 4 Opportunity Intrinsics and can be changed by choosing to extract after beating any stage. Failing by aborting or through any mission's fail condition will not change their selection, allowing players to retry with another configuration, so long as the spiral has not yet changed.
The Circuit primarily features traditional Warframe gameplay. The game cycles between random mission types and tilesets as stages are cleared.
Possible mission types:
- Defense (Defend stationary target for 3 waves)
- Survival (Survive for 5 minutes)
- Excavation (Excavate 300
Cryotic)
- Exterminate (Kill required enemies + Corrupted Vor)
- Void Flood (Seal 5 Ruptures)
- Unlike traditional Void Flood, no corruption gauge is present. As such this mission type does not have a failure state.
- Corrupted Jackal Assassination
- Appears every 5 Stages.
- This version of the Jackal has slightly different mechanics:
- It has only 3 health bars instead of the usual 4.
- The field it patrols in is protected by a spherical barrier that nulls all outside gunfire, but can be physically passed through.
- During its Grid Wall attack, the Jackal additionally fires seeking projectiles.
- After depleting one of its health bars, it will teleport to another part of the field, spawn numerous enemies, and become invulnerable until all its reinforcements are killed. It will continue to attack during this phase.
- Alchemy (2 Crucibles)
- No conversion process; a Crucible is considered completed after being filled.
Although the order of the mission types during each run of the circuit is chosen at random, the order for that run will stay the same if the squad stays for enough stages to begin repeating. For example, if stage 1 is Exterminate, stage 2 is Survival, and stage 3 is Excavation then stage 8, 15, 22, etc. will be Exterminate, stage 9, 16, 23, etc will be Survival, and stage 10, 17, 24, etc will be Excavation.
Gear items and Companions cannot be used. However, all players will have innate Enemy Radar in The Circuit.
Enemies do not drop Origin System loot such as Mods or Resources, but will still drop Health and Energy Orbs and ammo pickups.
A Decree Fragment
During each stage, players can find 3 blue diamond-shaped objects called Decree Fragments scattered across the map, often placed within secluded locations. Collecting them all awards 1 Decree to all players in the squad, lasting for the mission. They produce a sound similar to Trauma Clamps, though at a slightly higher pitch, when near a fragment.
Traps called Trauma Clamps can be found throughout the environment. Breaking them releases a vortex that pulls in both players and enemies, with the radius being larger for enemies, dealing Void + player healing pulses (Joy),
Heat (Anger),
Toxin (Envy),
Cold (Sorrow), or
Electricity (Fear) damage and status.

Tips[]
- Take the time to search for Decree fragments, especially before starting a Defense or Excavation wave.
- Fragments are often placed in secluded spots, such as small corners, edges of cliffs, on top of houses, or inside caves.
- Fragments emit a distinctive sound when nearby.
- Certain Drifter Intrinsics take effect for Warframes:
- Combat grants a damage bonus per Decree stack (Rank 1) and increases weapon critical chance (Rank 7).
- Opportunity grants more available Decrees (Rank 1, 3, 5, and 6), as well as available Warframe and weapon options (Rank 2, 4, 7, 8, and 10).
- Endurance grants extra health per Decree stack (Rank 1), full health and energy restore upon selecting a Decree (Rank 2), additional revives (Rank 3 and 8), health regeneration over time on headshots (Rank 7), and avoiding death at a cooldown (Rank 10).
- Riding provides no benefit, as Kaithes cannot be used in The Circuit.
Patch History[]
Hotfix 36.1.6 (2024-09-05)
- Fixes towards Circuit mission objectives not starting after Host migration.
- Known issue: this still occurs when transitioning from Alchemy to Excavation.
- Fixed Clients’ Drifter reverting to their non-Duviri state after a combination of Host migration and Transference when completing a round of the Circuit.
- This should address cases of players losing large amounts of Standing after dying at the end of a Circuit or Undercroft Stage in this state.
Hotfix 36.1.3 (2024-08-27)
- Fixed enemies not spawning if Host Migration occurs at the start of an Alchemy mission in the Circuit.
Hotfix 36.0.3 (2024-06-20)
- Fixed low enemy spawn rate in Circuit Alchemy missions (they should now be more in line with Excavation and Survival).
Update 36.0 (2024-06-18)
- New Undercroft Mission: Alchemy
Your knowledge on the elements from your explorations of Albrecht’s Laboratories is required in Duviri, Tenno! Maintain the laws of alchemical science in the Undercroft with the addition of the Alchemy mission type.
Like most things in Duviri, completing an Alchemy Undercroft mission is different from how you know it outside of the Spiral. Here’s what you can expect:
- Players must fill 2 Crucibles in order to complete an Undercroft mission or to move to the next stage in the Circuit.
- There is no Conversion Progress mixing stage in the Undercroft - players do not need to destroy Distressed Pipes while the Crucible mixes the elements.
- Dax Enemies will drop the required Amphors for the active Crucible, while other enemies will drop them at random.
General Alchemy Change (applies to Duviri and standard mode):
- Slightly reduced the amount of Amphors required to fill up an element in the Crucible for Squads of 3 or 4 players.
Update 35.6 (2024-05-15)
- Fixed the Corrupted Jackal in the Undercroft disappearing if all players are downed at the same time during the fight, causing a halt in Undercroft/Circuit progress.
Hotfix 35.5.1 (2024-03-27)
- Fixed getting stuck auto-meleeing after interacting with the stay/leave screen in the Circuit.
Update 35.5 (2024-03-27)
- General UI Changes:
- Added an “Owned” tag to the Circuit Rewards tooltips to inform players if they own an item and how many.
- DUVIRI IMPROVEMENTS
Top Quality of Life Changes
- Rewards and Circuit Progress are now preserved after every completed Stage.
- For example, if you are in Stage 6 and the Defense Target is destroyed, you will now keep all of the Circuit Progress and Rewards you had earned from the last 5 Stages.
- A “!” notification will now appear in the Star Chart and Duviri navigation screen when Circuit rewards are available to claim.
Circuit Assassination: Corrupted Jackal Changes
The introduction of the Corrupted Jackal Assassination Circuit mode was designed with a twist to the standard Jackal fight for a bit of a challenging edge. However, players have expressed that the fight can quickly end you and your Squad’s Circuit run due to it being rather difficult to defeat.
In an effort to make the fight less arduous and improve its success rate overall, we have made the following changes:
- Significantly reduced its turret damage.
- Significantly reduced the damage and the radius of its Plasma Grenade Cluster attack.
- The Plasma Grenade Clusters will now only target players outside of the bubble during its Grid Wall state/attack.
- Since Plasma Grenade Cluster has a much smaller radius and is much less punishing, we wanted to ensure players are still feeling engaged with this segment of the fight when leaving the bubble.
- Slightly increased the delay of when it uses its Plasma Grenade Cluster during its Grid Wall state to give you a bit more time to clear the area.
- Removed the nullifying effect from its Massive Shockwave attack.
- Fixed Corrupted Jackal having its abilities disabled by Banshee's Silence in the Circuit.
- This would temporarily halt progress as it needed to use its Grid Wall attack to proceed with the fight.
General Improvements & Fixes
We have made significant infrastructure changes to Duviri missions to address widespread bugs caused by Host Migrations. These changes should address various instability caused by Host Migrations, including specific issues such as the following:
- Returning players in the Jackal fight having a dark screen in the next Circuit stage.
- Large hitch for Clients loading into a new Circuit session after a Host Migration.
- Fixed remaining in Teshin’s Cave if the player is using the Drifter Appearance Mirror while the rest of their squad teleports to the first Circuit Stage.
- Fixed being unable to drive Yareli’s Merulina through the Corrupted Jackal’s dome in the Circuit.
- Fixed a long soft lock/hitch occurring to the third member of a squad that gets Host migrated into a new squad in the Circuit.
- Fixed a grammar error in the confirmation prompt for Duviri Steel Path Circuit reward choice.
Update 35.1 (2024-02-20)
- Adjusted Riven type drop rates in Steel Path Circuit to be more proportional to weapon ratios.
- In all Riven sources other than Sorties and Archon Hunts, each Riven type has had an equal chance of being rewarded, meaning you are as likely to get a Kitgun Riven as you are a Melee Riven, despite Kitgun Rivens having 6 possible weapons and Melee having well over 100. Now, Kitguns and Zaws are the least likely to be rolled, followed by (in ascending order) Shotguns, Rifle, Pistol, and Melee. This order is applied to both guaranteed and drop table Rivens:
- Drop rates for each type have been adjusted in places where Rivens are only a portion of the drop tables (Duviri Steel Path Circuit). The total chance for a Riven remains the same. For full details, visit the public drop tables.
Hotfix 35.0.7 (2024-01-09)
- Replaced the “Skip” button in the Circuit reward screen with a “Continue” option if multiple rewards are available. This aims to help prevent players from skipping them all, and instead, will now show the next reward.
Update 35.0 (2023-12-13)
- Fixed lingering Intrinsics screen when a player is dragged into the Duviri Circuit while the Intrinsics screen is open.
Hotfix 34.0.4 (2023-10-24)
- Fixed The Circuit rewards selection list not being centered when switching between the Normal and Steel Path modes.
Update 34.0 (2023-10-18)
- Added two new Reward Options to the Steel Path Circuit Reward Path: Rivens and Kuva!
- With Drifter Opportunity Intrinsics at Rank 9, you will be presented with reward options of a Veiled Riven or 20k Kuva in addition to the weekly Incarnon rotation for your Circuit Reward Path!
- Just like the Incarnon Geneses, the order you pick these rewards will determine what Rank you need to complete in the Circuit to earn them.
- Fixed Undercroft Jackal being overly affected by Cold Status Effects which would drastically slow down the fight.
- Fixed Decrees going missing after reconnecting to an active Duviri or Circuit session.
- Fixed Host migration causing Clients in the Circuit to not receive their Decree from collecting all the Decree Fragments and completing the stage.
- Fixed case where players can get stuck in a bright white screen during the transition between Circuit stages.
Hotfix 33.6.4 (2023-08-15)
- The following changes have been made to address feedback that the fight feels a tad too challenging on the Steel Path.
- The Corrupted Jackal Asssassination mission will now appear at stage 4 and onwards in The Circuit to ensure players have had a chance to earn more Decrees before taking it on.
- Slightly reduced Jackal's health and the number of grenades Jackal fires in phases 1 & 2.
- Fixed active Warframe Abilities (ex: Voruna’s Ulfrun’s Endurance Augment Mod, Equinox’ Maim, Gauss’ Redline, and Ember’s Immolation) getting deactivated and reset at the end of each Stage in the Circuit.
- This was caused in our attempt to fix the issue with being able to teleport out of the Undercroft and back into the Duviri landscape using Wisp’s Breach Surge or Wil-O-Wisp in the Echoes of Duviri update. We have reverted that fix in order to address all abilities being affected.
Hotfix 33.6.3 (2023-08-03)
- Updated Incarnon Genesis descriptions to reduce important information being cut off in the Steel Path Circuit Reward selection screen.
- Fixed Jackal restoring health and spawning enemies for returning players if a host migration occurred during the final finisher of the fight.
- Fixed becoming invisible and losing physics after dying as Sevagoth’s Shadow in the Undercroft.
Hotfix 33.6.2 (2023-08-01)
- Added Incarnon descriptions to the on-hover pop-up in the Steel Path Circuit reward selection screen.
- Fixed Circuit Assassinate Jackal not being given the same “boss-type” classification as other assassination targets.
Hotfix 33.6.1 (2023-07-31)
- Fixed Clients attempting to do Finisher the Jackal in the Circuit sometimes not properly registering, allowing players to deal damage without progressing the fight stage, leading to players becoming progstopped.
- Fixed Host Migrating in the middle of a Pazaron Finisher to the Jackal in the Undercroft resulting in the remaining players being progstopped.
Update 33.6 (2023-07-27)
- UNDERCROFT CHANGES
New Undercroft Tiles:
We have added two new tiles to the Undercroft for you to tackle Warframe combat in: Fractal Pastures and Amphitheatre. The Fractal Pastures is a large open tile with plenty of space for farming Tamms -- if it weren’t for the dangers of the Undercroft, that is. With the new Amphitheater tile, you can reminisce about the calming sounds of Shawzins heard on the Duviri landscape, but replace them instead with the cries of your enemies. All five existing game modes are available in the Fractal Pastures and Amphitheatre.
Jackal Assassination is here!
The Undercroft is gaining a sixth game mode available exclusively in the Fractal Pastures: Assassination! No longer in the confines of a Corpus laboratory, The Jackal can be found ruining crops in the Fractal Pastures, devastating the natural beauty with its laser grids and rockets. Take on the Jackal in this newest game mode to reach the Undercroft.
In order for the expected time to complete Assassination to stay in line with other game modes, the Jackal fight has been modified from its original form on Venus. Jackal in the Undercroft will have three phases instead of four, and will be protected by reinforcements between phases.
On defeat, Jackal will drop Rune Marrow and has a chance to drop the Jackal Sigil.
Undercroft Trauma Clamp: The Undercroft is a dangerous place, Drifter. Trauma Clamps have begun appearing across the Undercroft that can be used to your advantage.
Trauma Clamps are hazards that can be found throughout the Undercroft. Breaking them open will pull in both Tenno and their foes alike, trapping them for a moment and imparting effects determined by the current Spiral. The range at which players will be drawn in is smaller than that of your enemies, but still take care when activating them. Use these strategically, as only a few spawn per Undercroft Tile. However, as the Void does work in mysterious ways, there is a chance of further Trauma Clamps spawning after a hazard is unleashed.
Thrax’s Spirals will augment Trauma Clamps with the following effects:
- Sorrow: Cold Damage and Status
- Anger: Heat Damage and Status
- Fear: Electricity Damage and Status
- Envy: Toxin Damage and Status
- Joy: Void Damage and Status, plus healing that will seek out nearby players.
- NEW INCARNON GENESES
New Incarnon Geneses are being added to the Circuit Steel Path reward path! Once acquired, players can install them into the applicable weapons by visiting Cavalero on the Zariman.

Week 4: Lex, Magistar, Boltor, Bronco, Ceramic Dagger
Week 5: Torid, Dual Toxocyst, Dual Ichor, Miter, Atomos
Week 6: Ack & Brunt, Soma, Vasto, Nami Solo, Burston
Week 7: Zylok, Sibear, Dread, Despair, Hate
- DUVIRI CHANGES:
- Missed note: Removed Luscinia’s Opera singing in the Undercroft.
- Due to the smaller tile, the singing was easily triggered a lot with players crossing paths with it often which created a lot of auditory noise.
- Enable Hint Transmissions toggle in your Audio Settings will now also apply to non-critical game mode transmissions in the Undercroft. When toggled off, Teshin will wax a little less poetic about Void Angels and choose instead to watch your progress silently from afar.
- TOP FIXES:
- Fixed Eximus in the Undercroft, Simulacrum, and Sanctuary Onslaught not dropping their guaranteed ammo.
- Fixed Clients getting stuck as Drifter in the Undercroft after getting pulled into the lobby and using Transference.
- Fixed Clients being unable to rejoin Undercroft missions.
- UI/HUD FIXES:
- Fixed subsequent Excavation Stages in the Circuit not showing Cryotic progress UI.
- FIXES:
- Fixed Void Flood objective UI lingering into the next Undercroft stage.
- Fixed the Rune Marrow dropped from Corrupted Vor in the Undercroft appearing as a Mod.
- Fixed Undercroft enemies not spawning if a Host Migration occurred while in the Undercroft waiting room.
- Fixed Vor continuing his monologue if killed before he starts talking in the Circuit Exterminate.
- To remedy this, his monologue starts sooner upon spawning.
- Fixed the “Repeat Mission” button in the Circuit End of Mission screen not taking you to the Circuit Menu.
- Fixed a piece of floating grass in the Undercroft waiting room. VERD-IE would be proud!
- Fixed Clients not seeing the lit torch lights in the Undercroft Waiting Room.
- Fixed the skybox disappearing when loading into stages of The Circuit.
Update 33.5 (2023-06-21)
- UNDERCROFT CHANGES
New Undercroft Tile
We have added a new tile to the Undercroft for you to battle and traverse. Keen Tenno will notice an academic atmosphere as they fight the hordes of Dominus Thrax’s minions. This tile will be available in both the Circuit and while traversing the Undercroft as a main Spiral Stage and side objective (read the “New Side Objectives” section to learn more!).
Captain Vor Arrives In The Undercroft
To those Tenno traversing the Undercroft, there is a chance you happen across one of the Tenno’s oldest foes. Captain Vor is guaranteed to spawn in all instances of Exterminate missions in the Undercroft.
His health increases for each additional member in the squad. He must be defeated to successfully complete the Undercroft mission.
On defeat, Captain Vor will drop Rune Marrow and has a chance to drop the Vor Sigil.
Undercroft Exterminate Mission Change:
- Slightly reduced the number of enemies required to exterminate (scales with number of players in squad).
Undercroft Defense Mission Changes
- Reduced waves from 5 to 3.
- In an effort to decrease the length of Defense missions in the Undercroft, we’ve opted to reduce the number of waves to complete.
- Increased enemy spawns and added Eximus units to defeat at the end of the mission.
- With the wave reduction, we want to maintain a level of challenge throughout the mission by ending it with a bang.
- The Defense Target will now regenerate its Shields to full in between waves.
- In light of the increase in enemy spawns and the addition of Eximus units, we wanted to ensure the target wasn’t in any immediate danger of being destroyed right on wave reset.
Undercroft Survival Mission Changes
- Slightly reduced drop rate of Life Support capsules from enemies.
- Since Undercroft Survival does not last longer than 5 minutes, it does not need to use the same rules that let players stay indefinitely in an endless Origin System’s Survival mission. As long as players are killing enemies and activating Life Support towers when needed, this shouldn’t cause any problems!
- Additions:
- Added a skip button to the Circuit reward flourish after unlocking tiers and returning to the reward path screen.
- To address players getting “stuck” watching the reward flourish for a long time if they had unlocked a bunch of tiers.
- Changes:
- Increased the amount of Credits awarded from the later stages (11+) of the Steel Path Circuit from 1,500 to 50,000.
- Fixes:
- Fixed Clients losing their Vitoplast orb container and eventually losing the ability to shoot/jump/revive/etc. after Host migration in Circuit Void Flood missions.
- Fixed Clients losing objective text and enemy spawns halting after Host migration in Circuit Defense missions.
- Fixed getting stuck in the Steel Path Circuit reward screen when attempting to join a player who invited them to a Steel Path Circuit mission (due to not having the Steel Path unlocked).
- Fixed accepting an invitation to the Steel Path Circuit opening the Normal reward path screen instead of The Steel Path one.
- Fixed the Steel Path Circuit reward path screen appearing before the pop-up informing that you are not eligible after accepting an invite to a Steel Path Circuit mission while not having the Steel Path unlocked.
- Fixed new Host not being teleported to next stage in Circuit after Host migration.
- Fixed Decree Fragments in The Circuit respawning (after they had all been collected) after Host Migration.
- Fixed enemies in The Circuit dropping Resources, Heavy Ammo, Credits and Mods if a Warframe with a looting ability is present.
- Fixed being able accept invites to join The Circuit missions before you’ve completed The Duviri Paradox Quest.
Hotfix 33.0.14 (2023-05-29)

Hotfix 33.0.13 (2023-05-26)
- Fixed objective text disappearing after Host migration during Undercroft Defense missions.
- Fixed infinite enemy spawning in the Undercroft after Host migration - causing issues with “kill X enemies” objectives as they would just continue to spawn after reaching the required number of kills.
- Final fix for enemies not spawning in the Undercroft (Circuit and Duviri) after Host Migration - causing failure in Survival and Void Flood missions.
- Fixed final Excavator not spawning in Undercroft Excavation missions after Host migration - causing inability to complete the mission.
- Fixed enemies ignoring players and standing still if they hit a certain crate in the Undercroft tileset.
Hotfix 33.0.11 (2023-05-24)
- Fixed Clients getting stuck as Duviri Drifter (instead of Focus Drifter if unlocked) in the Undercroft after getting pulled in from Landscape and using Transference.
- Fixed the Rank 2 Endurance Drifter Intrinsic “Restorative Decree” (gaining a Decree fully restores Health and Energy) not applying to Warframe in the Undercroft.
- Fixed Clients at times seeing other players’ Drifters without bodies after loading into the Duviri landscape or Undercroft.
- Fixed dead players seeing the Undercroft countdown timer (as they cannot participate themselves).
- Fixes towards enemies not spawning in the Undercroft (Circuit and Duviri) after Host Migration - causing failure for missions like Survival and Excavation that require you kill enemies for Life Support Capsules.
- Fixed being unable to summon Kaithe after being pulled into the Undercroft while trying to complete a Ghost Mirror Enigma.
- Made fixes towards a crash related to viewing the Circuit after a new tier of rewards had just been earned.
- Fixed being unable to start the Steel Path Circuit if the regular reward path had not been selected.
- Fixed Protea being unable to pick up her Grenade fans while in the Undercroft.
- Fixed rare case of being unexpectedly teleported into the Undercroft.
- Fixed incorrect mission time in the Circuit end of mission screen.
Hotfix 33.0.8 (2023-05-11)
- Fixed Host migrating during the extraction countdown in the Undercroft leading to players returning to Duviri with no objective markers, causing the mission to not progress.
- Fixes towards Clients having to replay the same completed Circuit stage mission after Host migration - causing a progress halt.
- More fixes towards squad getting indefinitely stuck in the Undercroft loading area after Client switches from Drifter to Excalibur Umbra after entering portal - causing halt in progression of Spiral and Circuit stages.
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur in the Undercroft.
Hotfix 33.0.7 (2023-05-09)
- Adjusted the radius and gain of Luscinia’s singing cue in the Undercroft.
- More fixes towards Host migrating during Undercroft Excavation missions leading to enemies no longer spawning - causing mission progression to come to a halt (even after collection 300 Cryotic).
- Fixed getting indefinitely stuck in the Undercroft after Host Migration without a countdown timer.
- Fixed Clients Transfering to Drifter from Excalibur Umbra while waiting to load into the Undercroft causing the entire squad to get permanently stuck in the loading area - causing halt in progression of Spiral and Circuit stages.
Hotfix 33.0.6 (2023-05-04)
- Fixed Host migrating during Undercroft Excavation missions leading to enemies no longer spawning - causing mission progression to come to a halt (even after collection 300 Cryotic).
- Fixed Host Migration during Undercroft Defense missions halting enemy spawns.
- Fixed a script error in the Undercroft that would cause it to not recover properly after Host Migration.
- Fixed crash that could occur when aborting The Circuit.
- Fixes towards the Vitoplast Drone from Void Flood stages lingering after exiting the Undercroft.
- Fixed crash that could occur at the end of a Void Flood round.
- Fixed weirdness with enemy waves in the Undercroft.
Hotfix 33.0.5 (2023-05-03)
- Fixed Defense Target not spawning if Host Migration occurs - causing waves to halt indefinitely.
- Fixed Circuit Progress bar flashing and extending beyond UI after reaching Rank 10 in The Circuit.
- Fixed Steel Path Circuit Progress UI indicating different amounts earned and to earn in each window (Navigation & Mission Progress).
Hotfix 33.0.4 (2023-05-02)
- The Undercroft (Landscape and The Circuit) Defense Changes:
The following changes have been made to address player feedback on the difficulty of Defense stages in the Undercroft. They are geared to alleviate the conditions that were causing the Defense Target to get destroyed extremely fast (notably in The Steel Path).
- The Defense Target’s level now scales between stages.
- The Defense Target’s scaling occurs alongside enemy level scaling between stages up to level 50. After level 50, the scaling rate decreases overtime to maintain a level of challenge in The Circuit.
- Increased the Defense Target’s starting level in The Steel Path from 76 to 101.
- Increased the rate at which the Defense Target’s Shields recharge.
- Reduced the damage that the Defense Target can take from Thrax units.
- Defense rounds will now only start when someone enters the Defense Target’s radius.
- This addresses enemies rushing to the Defense Target before players have even found it and positioned themselves to defend it.
- Changes:
- Made adjustments to Luscinia’s volume, gain, and radius in the Undercroft.
Hotfix 33.0.3 (2023-04-28)
- Fixes towards multiple Host Migration issues resulting in returning to the wrong mission in The Circuit (example: mid-Exterminate would turn into Survival after migration).
- More fixes towards a crash that could occur when toggling between “Normal” and “The Steel Path” in The Circuit reward path screen.
- Fixed the end of mission screen showing that you gained Circuit Progress when you failed.
- As mentioned in The Duviri Paradox patch notes, it is intended that you do not keep Circuit Progress if you fail or leave The Circuit - this was simply not being reflected correctly in the UI.
Hotfix 33.0.2 (2023-04-27)
- Fixed The Circuit not advancing past Stage 4 in both the Normal and Steel Path versions of the Circuit.
- We originally PSA’d this issue in the Warframe Forums here: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1346478-psa-the-circuit-stage-4-progression-issues/
- Fixed a crash that could occur when toggling between “Normal” and “The Steel Path” in The Circuit reward path screen.
- Fixed entering the Undercroft as a unarmed Excalibur Warframe if the following occurred:
- A Client selects the countdown for the Circuit to start and the Host has not selected anything for their loadout.
- A Host invites a Client and goes through the portal and the Client has accepted the invite but not yet loaded into the session.
- Fixed various script errors in the Steel Path Circuit.
- The Steel Path Circuit had issues with level loading that was causing various Script Errors, which in turn caused performance issues relative to the normal Circuit. This fix will significantly improve the performance of the Steel Path Circuit.
Hotfix 33.0.1 (2023-04-27)
- Hotdropped earlier today:
- Fixed being unable to start The Circuit because Reward Path choices were not saving.
- Fixed the Shell Compression Mod having an unintentionally high drop rate in The Circuit tiers.
Update 33.0 (2023-04-26)
- Introduced.

Can someone test out and confirm that every Rune Marrow spawn is always the same further more every Degree fragment will replace or spawn next to them making somewhat easier to remember/search and added to tip section.
Why not test out yourself?
This page's Steel Path rewards week highlight has been a week behind. Threw me off as I didn't bother with learning more about The Circuit until this week thinking it would finally be Latron week (whereas the week before that is largely fodder), but turns out that was in fact the previous one. It's presently, as of this post, the Lex and Ceramic Dagger (et al.) week.
You have to purge the page's cache to have these calculated elements update on the backend: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/The_Circuit?action=purge Unfortunately we don't have way to create maintainable interactive or "live" content that updates based on game state.
Is there a bias in the chances of legendary arcanes being selected as rewards in steel path? I got a full set of Shiver even though I only had half of Longbow.
Maybe. i have a whole set of longbow and 1 or 2 of the others. ive only played the circuit enough to get every incarnon and a few more than once.
Fking stupid kids leaving on purpose on the assassination mission while hosting just to bug it and force you to abort... ffs...
Blame DE for making and then abandoning the clusterfuck that is Duviri.
Noticed a bug with this game mode today. If you have the base version of a warframe that is selected for the current random selection and claim the prime for that frame afterwards, you do NOT get the option to take the prime version. Had chroma come up in my available selection, grabbed my chroma prime from foundry, modded it, and subsumed my default chroma to the helminth. Entered the circuit, and it's telling me that I no longer have chroma at all. Will probably fix itself the next time chroma hits my selection table, but its annoying considering I was going to use circuit to rank up the prime.
Just letting you know, im legendary rank 2, i have all frames with 16 frames being minmaxed, i also have 54 minmaxed weapons... yet nothing has changed and i still get shitty loadouts more often than not. Pair this with an overall lame game mode and call it weekly SP Circuit, the most lame thing in this game.
Your huge loadout is actually hurting your chances. I'm MR8 and I only crafted 3 warframes. I always get 2 out of those 3. Mesa is one of those 3 and it's a walk in the park with her. I only ever played circuit when she is one of the choices.
I gotta be honest with you chief, I'm in the same boat as you OP, and my selections are 8/10 fucking amazing. I think RNG is literally just having a field day shitting on you, or you actually need to git gud. I minmax nothing and can easily run Steel Path Circuit rotations to lvl 999. And those 2/10 times I get horse shit for frame and/or weapon selections, I just play another part of the game.
This game mode is fine.
It just shows the problems of some core game mechanics, especially how armor works.
One time i got a busted decree combo for the cedo and i melted 400 lv sp enemies. i reckon i could've gone further but i really didn't feel like playing excavation
I love Roguelike and i end up enjoying The Circuit, even if the RNG puts a lot of whack weapons and frames on SP it can still get easy after getting some buffs, but man, the progression for the rewards is so slow, specially since i just came back: on my first week i did Soma, but it started getting too slow to level up and I forgot to get to level 10 for Burston, then this last week i choose for Dread and Dispair, but ended up not doing it to focus on the Nightwave missions that was ending for that Umbra Forma (managed to get to level 30 on the last day!). and it doesnt help that i can't play much outside of Weekends, so it adds up with all the grind i need to do to update my stuff: new Frames and Weapons, new Primes, Archon Shards, Zariman, Entrati Lab.
Don't rly understand why Cavalero only sells some Genesis for plat, make him sell all of them, I would buy it instead of having to waiting almost 2 months for them to show up again
My guess is DE completely forgot about Cavalero's Genesis plat shop honestly, because it was the plan to have it rotate so you could just buy that week's Incarnons.
Great. It seems i have to wait for 6 weeks to try out this weapon i wanted... In the meantime i will probably gonna forget about this game
No you will not, if you are in the wiki you will do it:
You will complain say the game is bad and will never play again
Quit the game for some time
Return to warframe after search other games in 20XX and in there is worse monetization/other motives.
You will be back to warframe and repeat the cycle.
No worries, incarnon weapons are all shit because they quickly get tedious to use, thanks to permanently needing to activate incarnon mode which doesnt last long. In a game where you're grinding a lot as well as killing a lot (aka much of repetitive gameplay) along with frames that have abilities that you need to use and those abilities never last long no matter how high the duration (means you are already always busy using your frames and their abilities)... all this doesnt speak for incarnon mechanics, since they give you additional work but why would you wanna do that. Dont believe it? Then get yourself a powerful Torid incarnon and see for yourself how quickly it gets lame and tedious despite the nice dps.
The best incarnon weapon? Believe it or not, its Felarx which you simply buy from Cavalero. This weapon is pretty nice for specific tasks (such as doing Index or killing demolishers), yet funnilly and ironically its the NON-incarnon mode which makes this weapon shine. Hilarious.
Why wrong week is darkened anyways?
Nevermind I'm a scatter brain and poke a button I shouldn't have.
Progress getting stuck at 5 points till next level and not counting after that so you return from a 40 minute mission to find out that you not only didn't get the reward at t5, but all the levels you got after that also didn't count. Completing another 40 minute mission to get the stupidly expensive t10 reward just to find out NONE of the progress counted because you got teleported on the extraction screen so get fucked as you're not the host. Skill issue. This schizo mode can go play itself, I'm not dealing with it.
Its negation armor for Inaros Week, not negation swarm
Is there any point to mention that you only need to do 33 stages in row to get Tier 10 Steel Path instead of 34 stages because of daily bonus ? Of course you're gonna have your daily bonus if you start from 0, so why mention it ?
Honestly very frustrating when low MR players play The Circuit. They die a lot then they quit. I am patient but it is a real problem in this mode. I know DE wont ever do it, but the circuit should be for MR 20 and up. I am skipping this mode more and more. At this point if the other 3 arent above MR20 I leave the instance and try again.
MR20? I am 15 and this game mode is super easy. I was shocked how ez it is compare to the campaign.
At max it would be mr16. That's the general cutoff for almost everything
Mr 20 and up is crazy. Do you honestly believe that only players with an mr rank of 20 or higher can handle steel path circuit? Cause it's really not that difficult. Any player who has unlocked steel path and can beat earth steel path missions solo can easily do it especially with a full squad.
Do it solo or form a premade squad. Problem solved. If you don't like playing with low MRs then don't go in public.
Seriously, I was MR8 when I farmed the circuit and it was a cakewalk. I would even dare say, the circuit is easier when you only own a small number of properly modded frames. The game mode always gives you a frame that you own as an option. I only had 3 frames (4 if you include Excaliber Umbra) and I always got Mesa as one of the choices.
I dont see why people hate this game mode, the sp circuit is not that hard, maybe if u can't do sp circuit u should do other things like everyone else, forma ur guns, max out galvanized mods, learn how to shield gate. I hate it when <mr10 player begging for someone to carry them in recruit chat, there is a lot of other content u can do before the circuit, also there is a lot of other gun that arguably better then all the incarnon genesis
*Cant
That's why I'm not a fan of the way de handles story mode rewards, it basically throttles players into harder and harder content without having them get used to the game, relax, grind a bit and level up and forma and build up their arsenal first
It's not even a matter of "hate cuz can't play well". I don't like the mode cuz it's a slog to get all 10 levels in a weekend, the progress was designed for a daily play tru, i already missed 2 weeks worth of reward cuz i get bored at level 5 and forget to do after. hek i even find it easy but it piles up with the other stuff i have to grind and update
Yeah now that i have all the incarnon that i needed, this game mode is boring af without a good reward
If you collect the decrees, it doesnt matter what weapons you get with RNG: one of them will destroy everything after about you have about 5 decrees. easy peasy. The only negative about this game mode is that many only play a few rounds when playing in public, which is ridiculous.
Fr
Kinda but early on your decree options are limited and will sometimes all be weird or go to your worst weapon
Why are all of you so miserable
Why cant you enjoy anything
Because this community is filled with whiners. Also, I get the feeling a lot of them barely have any frames or weapons, which definitely massively neuters the experience. Well guess what, this next update is going to have EVEN MORE of that, tied to what sort of reward you get, so git gud. It takes minimal effort to make plat via trading
Because this community is so big and diverse. There will always be that one vocal group that will scream at anything DE adds to this game.
Like you for example.
Had a chortle at the way you spoke that so raw and truthfully :D
Its because the game is old. Older players get fed up with what they deem as issues in the game quicker. They don't get as excited as new players and because the majority of players have been on wf for ages, its more common to see opinionated, negative responses in general. The game isn't dying but the playerbase seems to be just kind of bored of warframe in general.
There are still many nice ppl in lobbies, its just in areas where players feel they have a voice like here and in region chat, they subconsciously voice their overplaying-boredom in the form of various complaints. The game is still fun and that's really all that matters. Will i still complain in forums too? Probably, but that doesn't mean I won't still play and be super helpful in-game 5 minutes later.
IMO the game has almost moved into "remember when we used to play warframe? that game was super fun" territory. Dying no. Fun yes. Old yes.
The worst game mode this game has... who the hell thought that having RNG IN THE GODDAMN loadouts is a freaking good idea?
And so you find people who defend this game mode then you see their profile and it is the only thing they have played with just 2 or 3 rounds... and barely they have +20 hours in game, go back to your indie games please, the community is sick of the power creep, the trash swapper "gamer" that just test the game for like 3 hours and feels that he has the right to criticise it and the worst: The "youtuber insight" making opinions onto how ppl must build, making bias to new players when they know shit about the game they are "playing" and that is something that has done so much damage to this game.
If you think that this gamemode is bad then you're probably that one guy that can't play the game outside of their "ally wisp+meta melee+meta frame" comfort zone.
This mode is GOATED. All weapons/warframes that you recieve are modded really good (at least for this mode), and its also insanely good for grinding affinity/MR if you want to avoid pain with bad mod setups and lack of orokin catalysts (if this mode suggests you a weapon/frame that you have in your inventory, it still would be modded even if your item is lvl0 and has no mods, and YOUR item will level up normally).
If you can't properly play this mode then that's a skill issue fr. Get 3 decree fragments every round, focus on getting Ranger's Reload and Nimble Gunner (the first decree INSTANTLY reloads your weapon when you roll, the second dectree gives you 25 / 50 / 75% chance to not consume ammo for 4 seconds after you roll).
These two are basically a must, especially if you get a shotgun or any other gun that has low mag and high damage. But in general, ANY setup should have these two mods since ammo are really scarce there.
TL, DR: Just stop. This mode is not for people who think that the only acceptable way of playing Waframe is spamming melee attack button under shitton of ally Wisp buffs.
Im kinda new to this game and i have max out all open world standing, build and forma all the gun that i can craft, build most of my frame(even with zero forma u can just slap adaptation/redirection/brief respite and learn shield gatting) and have a basic understanding how a warframe works, max out all of my galvanized mods, max out arcane for my primary and secondary and now i can do circuit sp comfortably, if u cant do sp circuit its either skill issue or u dont have the necessary mods/arcane
TL, DR: GITGUD or farm/max out other stuff before doing circuit sp
This mode suck, It likes your parent keep telling what to do. It basically negates all the fucking point of the game, I invested a lot in certain of my Warframes and weapons? Why I can't use it instead of some random shitty gun with shitty mod?
Damn the first response look like a volt main, in the tridolon, in a public lobby
I don't have the time to play WF a few hours/week so I only play with 1 frame basically.
I really hope they make some changes here, I wanna play with MY frame, not some random one with a crappy loadout.
OP here: I hope they make some changes.
The new level 300 missions DE is gonna do in the next update have a similar feature. If I understood correctly you get better loot if you choose the random loadout but you can still use whatever you want but with lesser loot. Good alternative IMO.
Honestly the random loadout is by far the least big issue here, the wonky ass damage scaling on Thrax units and their borked animations in particular are the real suck here
Playing Warframe to only ever use one frame is certainly a choice
I do this in other games as well for some reason.
Borderlands 1, 2, pre & 3 always 1 character.
