- For the resource, see Circuits.
The Circuit is an endless game mode that takes the player through the Undercroft of Duviri. It can be accessed after completing The Duviri Paradox quest.
Mechanics[]
As with all Duviri content, players begin in Teshin's Cave with a selection of randomly generated Warframes and weapons that change at the start of every Duviri spiral. This selection can be viewed within the player's Navigation Console, once you reach Rank 4 Opportunity Intrinsics and can be changed by choosing to extract after beating any stage. Failing by aborting or through any mission's fail condition will not change their selection, allowing players to retry with another configuration, so long as the spiral has not yet changed.
The Circuit primarily features traditional Warframe gameplay. The game cycles between random mission types and tilesets as stages are cleared.
Possible mission types:
- Defense (Defend stationary target for 3 waves)
- Survival (Survive for 5 minutes)
- Excavation (Excavate 300
Cryotic)
- Exterminate (Kill required enemies + Corrupted Vor)
- Void Flood (Seal 5 Ruptures)
- Unlike traditional Void Flood, no corruption gauge is present. As such this mission type does not have a failure state.
- Corrupted Jackal Assassination
- Appears every 5 Stages.
- This version of the Jackal has slightly different mechanics:
- It has only 3 health bars instead of the usual 4.
- The field it patrols in is protected by a spherical barrier that nulls all outside gunfire, but can be physically passed through.
- During its Grid Wall attack, the Jackal additionally fires seeking projectiles.
- After depleting one of its health bars, it will teleport to another part of the field, spawn numerous enemies, and become invulnerable until all its reinforcements are killed. It will continue to attack during this phase.
- Alchemy (2 Crucibles)
- No conversion process; a Crucible is considered completed after being filled.
Although the order of the mission types during each run of the circuit is chosen at random, the order for that run will stay the same if the squad stays for enough stages to begin repeating. For example, if stage 1 is Exterminate, stage 2 is Survival, and stage 3 is Excavation then stage 8, 15, 22, etc. will be Exterminate, stage 9, 16, 23, etc will be Survival, and stage 10, 17, 24, etc will be Excavation.
Gear items and Companions cannot be used. However, all players will have innate Enemy Radar in The Circuit.
Enemies do not drop Origin System loot such as Mods or Resources, but will still drop Health and Energy Orbs and ammo pickups.

A Decree Fragment
During each stage, players can find 3 blue diamond-shaped objects called Decree Fragments scattered across the map, often placed within secluded locations. Collecting them all awards 1 Decree to all players in the squad, lasting for the mission. They produce a sound similar to Trauma Clamps, though at a slightly higher pitch, when near a fragment.
Traps called Trauma Clamps can be found throughout the environment. Breaking them releases a vortex that pulls in both players and enemies, with the radius being larger for enemies, dealing Void + player healing pulses (Joy),
Heat (Anger),
Toxin (Envy),
Cold (Sorrow), or
Electricity (Fear) damage and status.

Tips[]
- Take the time to search for Decree fragments, especially before starting a Defense or Excavation wave.
- Fragments are often placed in secluded spots, such as small corners, edges of cliffs, on top of houses, or inside caves.
- Fragments emit a distinctive sound when nearby.
- Certain Drifter Intrinsics take effect for Warframes:
- Combat grants a damage bonus per Decree stack (Rank 1) and increases weapon critical chance (Rank 7).
- Opportunity grants more available Decrees (Rank 1, 3, 5, and 6), as well as available Warframe and weapon options (Rank 2, 4, 7, 8, and 10).
- Endurance grants extra health per Decree stack (Rank 1), full health and energy restore upon selecting a Decree (Rank 2), additional revives (Rank 3 and 8), health regeneration over time on headshots (Rank 7), and avoiding death at a cooldown (Rank 10).
- Riding provides no benefit, as Kaithes cannot be used in The Circuit.
Patch History[]
Hotfix 36.1.6 (2024-09-05)
- Fixes towards Circuit mission objectives not starting after Host migration.
- Known issue: this still occurs when transitioning from Alchemy to Excavation.
- Fixed Clients’ Drifter reverting to their non-Duviri state after a combination of Host migration and Transference when completing a round of the Circuit.
- This should address cases of players losing large amounts of Standing after dying at the end of a Circuit or Undercroft Stage in this state.
Hotfix 36.1.3 (2024-08-27)
- Fixed enemies not spawning if Host Migration occurs at the start of an Alchemy mission in the Circuit.
Hotfix 36.0.3 (2024-06-20)
- Fixed low enemy spawn rate in Circuit Alchemy missions (they should now be more in line with Excavation and Survival).
Update 36.0 (2024-06-18)
- New Undercroft Mission: Alchemy
Your knowledge on the elements from your explorations of Albrecht’s Laboratories is required in Duviri, Tenno! Maintain the laws of alchemical science in the Undercroft with the addition of the Alchemy mission type.
Like most things in Duviri, completing an Alchemy Undercroft mission is different from how you know it outside of the Spiral. Here’s what you can expect:
- Players must fill 2 Crucibles in order to complete an Undercroft mission or to move to the next stage in the Circuit.
- There is no Conversion Progress mixing stage in the Undercroft - players do not need to destroy Distressed Pipes while the Crucible mixes the elements.
- Dax Enemies will drop the required Amphors for the active Crucible, while other enemies will drop them at random.
General Alchemy Change (applies to Duviri and standard mode):
- Slightly reduced the amount of Amphors required to fill up an element in the Crucible for Squads of 3 or 4 players.
Update 35.6 (2024-05-15)
- Fixed the Corrupted Jackal in the Undercroft disappearing if all players are downed at the same time during the fight, causing a halt in Undercroft/Circuit progress.
Hotfix 35.5.1 (2024-03-27)
- Fixed getting stuck auto-meleeing after interacting with the stay/leave screen in the Circuit.
Update 35.5 (2024-03-27)
- General UI Changes:
- Added an “Owned” tag to the Circuit Rewards tooltips to inform players if they own an item and how many.
- DUVIRI IMPROVEMENTS
Top Quality of Life Changes
- Rewards and Circuit Progress are now preserved after every completed Stage.
- For example, if you are in Stage 6 and the Defense Target is destroyed, you will now keep all of the Circuit Progress and Rewards you had earned from the last 5 Stages.
- A “!” notification will now appear in the Star Chart and Duviri navigation screen when Circuit rewards are available to claim.
Circuit Assassination: Corrupted Jackal Changes
The introduction of the Corrupted Jackal Assassination Circuit mode was designed with a twist to the standard Jackal fight for a bit of a challenging edge. However, players have expressed that the fight can quickly end you and your Squad’s Circuit run due to it being rather difficult to defeat.
In an effort to make the fight less arduous and improve its success rate overall, we have made the following changes:
- Significantly reduced its turret damage.
- Significantly reduced the damage and the radius of its Plasma Grenade Cluster attack.
- The Plasma Grenade Clusters will now only target players outside of the bubble during its Grid Wall state/attack.
- Since Plasma Grenade Cluster has a much smaller radius and is much less punishing, we wanted to ensure players are still feeling engaged with this segment of the fight when leaving the bubble.
- Slightly increased the delay of when it uses its Plasma Grenade Cluster during its Grid Wall state to give you a bit more time to clear the area.
- Removed the nullifying effect from its Massive Shockwave attack.
- Fixed Corrupted Jackal having its abilities disabled by Banshee's Silence in the Circuit.
- This would temporarily halt progress as it needed to use its Grid Wall attack to proceed with the fight.
General Improvements & Fixes
We have made significant infrastructure changes to Duviri missions to address widespread bugs caused by Host Migrations. These changes should address various instability caused by Host Migrations, including specific issues such as the following:
- Returning players in the Jackal fight having a dark screen in the next Circuit stage.
- Large hitch for Clients loading into a new Circuit session after a Host Migration.
- Fixed remaining in Teshin’s Cave if the player is using the Drifter Appearance Mirror while the rest of their squad teleports to the first Circuit Stage.
- Fixed being unable to drive Yareli’s Merulina through the Corrupted Jackal’s dome in the Circuit.
- Fixed a long soft lock/hitch occurring to the third member of a squad that gets Host migrated into a new squad in the Circuit.
- Fixed a grammar error in the confirmation prompt for Duviri Steel Path Circuit reward choice.
Update 35.1 (2024-02-20)
- Adjusted Riven type drop rates in Steel Path Circuit to be more proportional to weapon ratios.
- In all Riven sources other than Sorties and Archon Hunts, each Riven type has had an equal chance of being rewarded, meaning you are as likely to get a Kitgun Riven as you are a Melee Riven, despite Kitgun Rivens having 6 possible weapons and Melee having well over 100. Now, Kitguns and Zaws are the least likely to be rolled, followed by (in ascending order) Shotguns, Rifle, Pistol, and Melee. This order is applied to both guaranteed and drop table Rivens:
- Drop rates for each type have been adjusted in places where Rivens are only a portion of the drop tables (Duviri Steel Path Circuit). The total chance for a Riven remains the same. For full details, visit the public drop tables.
Hotfix 35.0.7 (2024-01-09)
- Replaced the “Skip” button in the Circuit reward screen with a “Continue” option if multiple rewards are available. This aims to help prevent players from skipping them all, and instead, will now show the next reward.
Update 35.0 (2023-12-13)
- Fixed lingering Intrinsics screen when a player is dragged into the Duviri Circuit while the Intrinsics screen is open.
Hotfix 34.0.4 (2023-10-24)
- Fixed The Circuit rewards selection list not being centered when switching between the Normal and Steel Path modes.
Update 34.0 (2023-10-18)
- Added two new Reward Options to the Steel Path Circuit Reward Path: Rivens and Kuva!
- With Drifter Opportunity Intrinsics at Rank 9, you will be presented with reward options of a Veiled Riven or 20k Kuva in addition to the weekly Incarnon rotation for your Circuit Reward Path!
- Just like the Incarnon Geneses, the order you pick these rewards will determine what Rank you need to complete in the Circuit to earn them.
- Fixed Undercroft Jackal being overly affected by Cold Status Effects which would drastically slow down the fight.
- Fixed Decrees going missing after reconnecting to an active Duviri or Circuit session.
- Fixed Host migration causing Clients in the Circuit to not receive their Decree from collecting all the Decree Fragments and completing the stage.
- Fixed case where players can get stuck in a bright white screen during the transition between Circuit stages.
Hotfix 33.6.4 (2023-08-15)
- The following changes have been made to address feedback that the fight feels a tad too challenging on the Steel Path.
- The Corrupted Jackal Asssassination mission will now appear at stage 4 and onwards in The Circuit to ensure players have had a chance to earn more Decrees before taking it on.
- Slightly reduced Jackal's health and the number of grenades Jackal fires in phases 1 & 2.
- Fixed active Warframe Abilities (ex: Voruna’s Ulfrun’s Endurance Augment Mod, Equinox’ Maim, Gauss’ Redline, and Ember’s Immolation) getting deactivated and reset at the end of each Stage in the Circuit.
- This was caused in our attempt to fix the issue with being able to teleport out of the Undercroft and back into the Duviri landscape using Wisp’s Breach Surge or Wil-O-Wisp in the Echoes of Duviri update. We have reverted that fix in order to address all abilities being affected.
Hotfix 33.6.3 (2023-08-03)
- Updated Incarnon Genesis descriptions to reduce important information being cut off in the Steel Path Circuit Reward selection screen.
- Fixed Jackal restoring health and spawning enemies for returning players if a host migration occurred during the final finisher of the fight.
- Fixed becoming invisible and losing physics after dying as Sevagoth’s Shadow in the Undercroft.
Hotfix 33.6.2 (2023-08-01)
- Added Incarnon descriptions to the on-hover pop-up in the Steel Path Circuit reward selection screen.
- Fixed Circuit Assassinate Jackal not being given the same “boss-type” classification as other assassination targets.
Hotfix 33.6.1 (2023-07-31)
- Fixed Clients attempting to do Finisher the Jackal in the Circuit sometimes not properly registering, allowing players to deal damage without progressing the fight stage, leading to players becoming progstopped.
- Fixed Host Migrating in the middle of a Pazaron Finisher to the Jackal in the Undercroft resulting in the remaining players being progstopped.
Update 33.6 (2023-07-27)
- UNDERCROFT CHANGES
New Undercroft Tiles:
We have added two new tiles to the Undercroft for you to tackle Warframe combat in: Fractal Pastures and Amphitheatre. The Fractal Pastures is a large open tile with plenty of space for farming Tamms -- if it weren’t for the dangers of the Undercroft, that is. With the new Amphitheater tile, you can reminisce about the calming sounds of Shawzins heard on the Duviri landscape, but replace them instead with the cries of your enemies. All five existing game modes are available in the Fractal Pastures and Amphitheatre.
Jackal Assassination is here!
The Undercroft is gaining a sixth game mode available exclusively in the Fractal Pastures: Assassination! No longer in the confines of a Corpus laboratory, The Jackal can be found ruining crops in the Fractal Pastures, devastating the natural beauty with its laser grids and rockets. Take on the Jackal in this newest game mode to reach the Undercroft.
In order for the expected time to complete Assassination to stay in line with other game modes, the Jackal fight has been modified from its original form on Venus. Jackal in the Undercroft will have three phases instead of four, and will be protected by reinforcements between phases.
On defeat, Jackal will drop Rune Marrow and has a chance to drop the Jackal Sigil.
Undercroft Trauma Clamp: The Undercroft is a dangerous place, Drifter. Trauma Clamps have begun appearing across the Undercroft that can be used to your advantage.
Trauma Clamps are hazards that can be found throughout the Undercroft. Breaking them open will pull in both Tenno and their foes alike, trapping them for a moment and imparting effects determined by the current Spiral. The range at which players will be drawn in is smaller than that of your enemies, but still take care when activating them. Use these strategically, as only a few spawn per Undercroft Tile. However, as the Void does work in mysterious ways, there is a chance of further Trauma Clamps spawning after a hazard is unleashed.
Thrax’s Spirals will augment Trauma Clamps with the following effects:
- Sorrow: Cold Damage and Status
- Anger: Heat Damage and Status
- Fear: Electricity Damage and Status
- Envy: Toxin Damage and Status
- Joy: Void Damage and Status, plus healing that will seek out nearby players.
- NEW INCARNON GENESES
New Incarnon Geneses are being added to the Circuit Steel Path reward path! Once acquired, players can install them into the applicable weapons by visiting Cavalero on the Zariman.
Circuit Reward Path Rotation Date: Sunday, July 30th
