Notes
- If Hildryn wields her signature
Larkspur/
Larkspur Prime, the weapon gains 300 more Ammo Maximum in Atmospheric mode, for a total of 700.
- Hildryn has the second highest base shields out of all Warframes (1,380 unranked and 1,880 at rank 30), behind
Hildryn Prime.
- When taking overshields into consideration, Hildryn is the Warframe with the third highest base total shield value, behind
Harrow,
Hildryn Prime, and
Harrow Prime.
- When taking overshields into consideration, Hildryn is the Warframe with the third highest base total shield value, behind
- Hildryn, along with
Lavos, boasts the lowest base energy out of all Warframes in the game, having none at all.
- Any abilities subsumed on Hildryn require ten times their energy cost in shields to cast.
- While piloting a Railjack, Hildryn will use her own shields in place of energy to power the Railjack's activated abilities.
- The cost in shields is ten times that of the cost in energy. Furthermore, each usage of an ability increases that abilities' cost by an increment proportional to its cost; after the last use of the ability the cost will begin to decline until it reaches the original value.
- The speed of reduction is the same for most or all Railjack abilities resulting in longer wait times for higher cost abilities while lower cost abilities are restored within a few seconds.
Tips
- As a Warframe with large Shield capacity, Hildryn gains a lot of benefits from
Guardian and Arcane Enhancements affecting Shields, namely
Arcane Aegis and
Arcane Barrier.
- Hildryn is relatively more vulnerable against
Magnetic status, especially in The Steel Path as a single hit while being under Magnetic proc can deplete all her shield and prevent her from immediately using
Pillage until the shield is partially replenished.
- Keep an eye out for Eximus Energy Leech/Parasitic, Thrax Centurion and |Thrax Legatus as they can easily inflict Magnetic proc during an intense battle.
Arcane Nullifier can potentially increase her survivability.
- As with other Warframes with high shield values, Hildryn also benefits well from
Adaptation, essentially increasing the amount of damage her shields can absorb.
- Hildryn can absorb a higher amount of damage while being airborne with
Aegis Storm, by equipping
Aerodynamic,
Agility Drift and/or
Aviator.
- This can be further increased by the Boreal's set bonus, equipping
Boreal's Anguish and
Boreal's Hatred in Hildryn and
Boreal's Contempt in a Polearm.
- This can be further increased by the Boreal's set bonus, equipping
- Hildryn's lack of energy makes her an ideal Warframe to use in missions where energy regeneration would be severely hampered, such as in Nightmare Mode missions with the Energy Drain modifier, or Energy Reduction Modifiers in Sorties.
- Hildryn's reliance on shields instead of energy for abilities means that she does not suffer from energy loss caused by energy drain attacks and abilities, such as from Parasitic Eximus units and Sensor Bars.
- Conversely, due to her lack of energy, all energy interactions other than energy orbs provide no benefit for her, such as
Trinity's
Energy Vampire,
Energy Siphon,
Rage/
Hunter Adrenaline,
Quick Thinking/
Gladiator Finesse,
Zenurik, or
Arcane Energize.
- Conversely, due to her lack of energy, all energy interactions other than energy orbs provide no benefit for her, such as
- Having a Sentinel/MOA (Companion) with
Guardian can allow for Hildryn's shields to instantly recharge upon depletion, effectively resetting her Shield Wall passive.
- Equipping
Shield Charger is also useful for boosting shield regeneration and providing temporary additional shields and overshields.
- Both
Guardian and
Shield Charger have a cooldown of 30 seconds.
- Equipping
- Hildryn has significantly reduced effectiveness against the Infested as they often lack armor or shields for her to
Pillage and replenish her own shields.
- This weakness can be circumvented with
Balefire Surge or
Blazing Pillage.
- This weakness can be circumvented with
- Despite the caveats, Hildryn's passive ability allows for a dramatic increase in the frequency of Railjack ability use. Mods increasing max shields and the rate of shield regeneration further increase this advantage.
Trivia
- Hildryn was first revealed in Devstream 122 along with Wisp, sharing space in the same concept art.
- Hildr is an Old Norse word for "battle".
- Hildr is also a valkyrie in Norse mythology, attested in the Prose Edda.
- Hildryn is the 39th Warframe to be released (excluding Primed and Umbra variants).
- Hildryn is the second Warframe whose blueprint can be acquired from a syndicate, Vox Solaris, using standing, the first being
Baruuk.
- Unlike Baruuk, Hildryn's component blueprints cannot be acquired from Vox Solaris. Instead, they are dropped from the Exploiter Orb.
- She is the first Warframe whose component blueprints are dropped from a Landscape's boss.
- She is also the first Warframe whose component blueprint acquisition method depends on a recurring Event, Thermia Fractures (also see Operation: Buried Debts).
- Each of Hildryn's component requires 2 Lazulite Toroids to build, for total of 6 Lazulite Toroids. Considering each Lazulite Toroid provides
12,000 and her main blueprint costs
5,000, Hildryn is the most expensive in terms of syndicate standing, worth
77,000 in total.
- Hildryn is the first Warframe that does not use energy for any abilities, later followed by
Lavos.
- The Orokin script on her default helmet reads "shield maiden."
- Hildryn is the second Warframe with unique rolling animations, the first being
Limbo. She instead deploys "wings" from her shoulders and launches herself forward a short distance.
- Hildryn is the first Warframe to have an Exalted Weapon as a first ability, immediately available from Unranked.
- Other Warframes with Exalted Weapons have theirs as a fourth ability, available at rank 10 and onward.
- Hildryn is the first Warframe to have an Archgun,
Larkspur, as a Signature Weapon.
- The
Larkspur is her only signature weapon, however she also possess an Exalted Weapon, the
Balefire Charger.
- The
- Hildryn is the second Warframe that can be airborne via a channeled ability,
Aegis Storm, the first being
Titania.
Bugs
- Hildryn can't use most of the normal interactions that drain energy from Warframes, such as the energy draining hall in Lua Spy missions and puzzles, due to having zero energy.

Hildryn is the ugliest frame with an unnatural body. She is disgusting and fat. Her animations imply she acts manly which is also gross.
Strange how everyone was excited by voruna because she is actually attractive whereas noone wanted this piece of lard. I remember selling hildryn prime sets for 25p because no one gave a shit about her.

"Oh no, the faceless robotic killing machine doesn't make my pee pee feel weird. Damn you DE for not catering to my robofucker fetish"
I agree with the others. Seek *serious* help. Good lord.
Shes supposed to be muscular
This man has never hear of a tomboy before, also she's not fat, she's muscular
Someone should add this:
Ember´s subsume "Fire Blast" won´t work on Hildryn. (the game will say "need more energy")
If this is a bug or 'intended' i have no idea.
Other subsume working fine. Have not tested ember on others Hildryn slot. but i guess will have the same results.
Noticed that too, it stopped working when Ember rework went live.
Definitely has to be a bug
Hello DE?
Augment? please? someday? ... you remember her, right? ... Pablo? please? someone? ...
Uh...she already has two?
Ok
Idk why this guy even replied...
2 isnt enough
I always find it funny that the general consensus for both Hildryn and Harrow is that they would both like the other's helminth skill more than their own to be most effective.
Hildryn loves replacing Pillage with Condemn because it's very cheap and the shield restore is instant giving her something to cast when she's about to run out to give an instant refill to what is both her defense and her energy, while also giving her some great CC.... Meanwhile Harrow loves replacing Condemn with Pillage because the long delay before shields are returned makes his combo flow so much smoother, it scales better on the stats Harrow actually likes to build, and it gives him armor strip which he wants, (while also not CCing enemies because he likes being shot at).
The armor strip from Pillage makes it much stronger, and a subsume slot is better used over Hildryn's 1 or her 4 for most builds.
One bug i have been noticing about her is that sometimes, when wielding double pistols, the animatoins for their arms work in a wierd way
Will energy orb efficiency (amber shards) affect the amount of shields you get ?
Will health orbs give me shields if i use Equilibrium ?
No
Maybe stupid question but if you have sources for reduced damage effects like aviator (DR while airborne) does that in any way affects shield cost/drain ?
https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Damage_Reduction
No. Shield Cost is treated like energy. Aviator still helps with tankiness however (since you can't use armor).
shes really strong
You misspelled fat

Did they change the drop rate for Hildryn systems? Went 16 runs and still didn't get it.
Just wait for the circuit and obtain her that way for now go enjoy other content
Or just get the primed version... Like a smart person.
And if I want to subsume it?
You spend like 2 minutes every day for a week buying bond mods and selling em to buy her. Now login so you can actually see when people respond to you.
Da hel is dis?
Also those "Drain 0" is appear on many frame, it confuse while modding efficiency.
It might be cause u have the zenurik school on, that gives u a charge free of energy every now and then to use an ability at no cost
Ahh, exactly like you said. zenurik is my main, that why I see it like that all the time. ty
Hildryn and Nezha are opposites.
Hello guys im Justin Bieber and i main Hildrin and Mesa!
OMG!!!! I CAN BELIUEVE JUSTIMN BIEBER IS HJERE!!!!!!
Man of culture
Oh my god!Hildryn Prime looks amazing! No reason to play as another Warframe - this is the real SNU-SNU

Who doesnt fw muscle women?
Hildryns body shape is unnatural and disgusting. Toned women can be very attractive and feminine. Hildryn is fat and muscular which kind of contradict each other. I have never seen a woman who works out 7 hours a day then proceeds to eat 7 hours after that. That is hildryns body type. Gross
Can anyone confirm if Haven changed at all in patch 34 that reworked shield gating?
It did not, google Warframe Hildryn Rule 34.
Wild
Seems they limited how much energy and health voracious metastasis helmith ability gives, as before it would give the full amount and now is limited
But at the end of the day, who the fuck would even care about Voracious Metastasis for supporting your teammate with free energy, when the absolute best helminth ability for gym muscle mommy is literally Elemental Ward, as does almost what her ult should do, but in an infinitely better way? lol
"Who the fuck would even care?" Most people who know how valuable the amount of energy a Metastasis Hildryn can pump out for an extremely negligible cost that can be easily rectified, actually.
Same user as above who wants to add onto the OP's post; with my 45% EFF 73% DUR build, I can pump out 106 E/PS for 7.75s, which is hilariously good. Metastasis is still extremely strong on Hildryn for supporting, and it doesn't even sacrifice something important in her kit like Armor/Shield Strip to do so, unlike Trinity.
Big mommy Hildryn protects
Sevagoth syndrome moment.
A very good frame !
Is it??? While toxicity can kill her fast lol!
Obviously you aint put on arcane blessing if your hild can die to toxin
The 3rd line on her ability page says overshield protects her from toxin. If you can't maintain overshields as hildryn I don't know what to say to you.
"Obviously you aint put on arcane blessing if your hild can die to toxin"
I mean, if you're so much braindead to refuse swapping out in operator mode as soon as you get hit by a toxic proc, it certainly won't mean that this frame is trash lmao
Do energy regen decrees affect hildryn?
No
