- Wukong descended on September 29th, 2015 for the Chinese build, then on November 25th, 2015 for the global build.
- Wukong is named after Sun Wukong, (also known as the Monkey King), one of the main characters in the highly influential classic Chinese story Journey to the West. The majority of the Warframe's power set is based upon the Monkey King's lore.
- The variable-size Iron Staff that Wukong summons upon using Primal Fury (and to a lesser extent Defy) is based off the Ruyi Jingu Bang, the Monkey King's signature weapon capable of changing its size at whim. It was one of several treasures bestowed upon the Monkey King after he defeated the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas.
- Cloud Walker is a reference to the Jingdouyun (which translates to "Rolling Cloud"), a skill learned from his master when he was young.
- Celestial Twin is a reference to the Monkey King's ability to clone himself through his magical hairs.
- Five Levels of Immortality is a reference to the Monkey King becoming immortal through five different means.

- When Equipped with Wisp's Agile animation, and unarmed, he will summon his Celestial Twin. He is the 2nd of three frames to feature a unique version of the animation, Equinox and Xaku being the only other frames respectively.
- Wukong can give himself a handshake by activating the Handshake emote while his Celestial Twin is close by.

The Bug with Primal Fury where the Clone will not use the iron staff, is not a random chance.
The bug occurs if Wukong is formad. As the frame is at rank 0, the clone no longer realises it has access to Primal Fury and so will no longer use it. Re-ranking Wukong to a level where the Clone can use Primal Fury as if it was a freshly ranked frame, fixes this problem.

Frame is good but I hate it, Everytime someone is afk, it was almost nine out of ten times that Chineses standing on corner while his clone activated. It's like they dont care mission type at all when bringing this thing, even after AFK prevention patch such as Umbra's clone kill doesn't contribute anymore to mission result strat so you can distinguish whether someone's afk, or clones stop working if you afk for long enough, they dont care. They dont feel embrassed at all. At this point this one need nerf for sure but I heard DE forfeited idea before already because of Chinese's aggressive backlash.... This frame was a mistake.
It doesn't need a nerf, literally no one is using it as an AFK frame now. Sounds like you're mad cause bad.

I don't know how you've tested but ability duration definetly increase the duration of cloud walker (i've 5 seconds with 254% ability duration, instead of 2 seconds).

Y'all gotta realize this frame is just not that good. Its the weapons they are using. Kuva Zarrs just clutter up the screen. Imagine 3 players with Wukong + clones = 6 Kuva Zarrs at once (assuming they dont equip anything else)
Effervo (event) was awful due to this, and as if that wasnt enough, they use call crew with Zarrs also. Asia server btw, you can imagine how much the Chinese love this frame.
You can't both use the primary at once. If clone is on primary, you can only use melee. And he does suck, as in he's not good.
As the first person said, if u only equip a primary, the clone will use the primary even if u use it at the same time!

I hate this warframe mainly because of its users , and I mainly paly on solo just to avoid the players who use this frame. They're the most boring people I have ever found and will make sure to ruin your mood every time by committing a mistake.

Use his 3, you'll be literally INVINCIBLE for several seconds, and then get free 1500 armor. And maybe even put steel fiber if you want.

1500 armor is nothing. It's a laughable amount. You need a DR ability or some other damage-blocking ability to be actually tanky in this game. Frames like Revenant, Valkyr, Trinity, Baruuk, Citrine, Ember, Gara, Mesa, Yareli, etc. are among the best tanks because of that. The reason is that *any* frame can get health and armor (e.g. Arcane Blessing and Guardian), but only a select few get a DR ability, and the best results come from multiplying them all together. Just armor alone isn't going to make a frame sufficiently tanky, especially when you get diminishing returns from stacking it higher and higher.
