The Mod Drop Chance Booster doubles the chance of Mod, Endo, and Arcane Enhancement drops.
Acquisition[]
A 3-day booster can be obtained as a reward from Sorties, Archon Hunts, and the Steel Path track of The Circuit.
A 3-day booster is also offered as a periodic item for sale by Baro Ki'Teer, costing 500 and
175,000 to purchase. Note that Baro Ki'Teer's stock changes with each appearance, and may not be available on a succeeding appearance.
Notes[]
- Doubles the chance of rolling an enemy's Mod, Endo, and Arcane drop table.
- Does not affect drops from mission reward tables or Resource Cache drop tables.
- A Mod Drop Chance Booster becomes active immediately upon purchase and expires after the indicated days of real-time (not time played in the game).
- All Boosters are cumulative, meaning that purchasing or attaining additional boosters while a booster is already active will add their time to the existing booster.
- Like the Resource Drop Chance Booster, the Mod Drop Chance Booster is applied to the whole team. This means all players on the team will have increased Mod Drop Chance from one player's Booster, regardless of who does the killing.
- Multiple Mod Drop Chance Boosters from more than one player on the team do not stack.
- A Mod Drop Chance Booster is automatically applied during any Steel Path mission.
- All Steel Path missions have an innate 2x Mod Drop Chance from the active modifiers (without a booster).
- This itself can be stacked with a single Mod Drop Chance Booster from any of the players on the team, giving a maximum total 4x Mod Drop Chance.
- Does not apply to bosses.

The only reliable way to acquire a mod chance booster is from baro and is 500 ducats. So you're telling me it is that profitable to spend an equivalent of about (on the lower end) 60 platinum in ducats per just 3 days of booster (so ~600 pl for 30 days worth) while the return rate on this investment is rather slim and also entirely depends on the amount of time you will spend grinding in the game for the next x days. Not to mention the only way to even attemt to get returns is farming arcanse on VC since you're literally better off keeping endo to yourself while selling r0 primed mods (which you won't even have as you've spent all your ducats on the stupid booster). All that when you can reliably turn those ducats in for a rate of around 360 -> 40 plat per prime mod / other baro goods AND put zero effort to it?
To each their own, I guess, but the amount of efforts and resources you need to spend to then see any return on it feels even worse than kuva farming to me.
1 SP voidcascade omnia to lvl cap run can get you around 100-150p so yeah it's worth it :)
Unmentioned fact it does affect endo drops from Arbitration reward tables. (Cough).
Any evidence of it?
This only applies to Resource Drop Chance Booster, not Mod Drop Chance Booster.
Endo isn't affected by resource boosters dog
1 SP voidcascade omnia to lvl cap run can get you around 100-150p so yeah it's worth it :)
Does this booster increase or have ANY impact on opening/using Apothics?
I would say no since Silver Grove specters have a 100% chance to drop mods. I can't speak from experience, however, I did once have a Mod Drop Chance Booster when fighting Eidolons and I only saw one mod drop from kills/captures, which has a base 100% chance of dropping a mod.
They drop not exactly a mod, more like "secondary objective item", so nope, it does not.
Just like sabotage crate loot - it's "unknown item" until you reach the extraction.
Correction:
Speaking from experience, a mod drop chance booster makes spectres drop 2 mods, so it makes the 100% drop chance a 200% one. I don't know how it affects other stuff, but I might do some testing since I just got one.
Mod booster does not affect bosses.
Why do ppl keep asking for everyone to bring a booster for arena if only one suffices ?
Because they're delusional and can't read, just like some of the comments right here. Link this page to them so they can fix their misconceptions
A link to the forum\reddit post where someone of DE says "Yes it stacks" or "No, it does not stack" would finish this 10 y\o war at once.
DE is also don't know how it works)
There is no need for a war, it has already been tested extensively, it does not stack.
You should indicate that this booster also increases chances of Endo in the Notes, for clarity.
I know it's technically part of the Mod Drop Table, but I think it would be a neat precision for unaware players.
Sike i'm blind nevermind
This affect to some cache's rewards like Bullet Dance or Bite?
Only doubles the chance of rolling an enemy's mod drop table so no.
ATM really useful, since it affects zariman arcane drops
One of the best uses for it right now, you can get a ton of the standing-heavy arcanes super easily, and sell the rest off for a pretty penny, not to mention help more players have access to these arcanes :)
*for cheaper
Why does it say it's included in the Prime Accessories Boundle when it never was? Even in the very first Prime Access this booster was never mentioned. I bought the Nidus Prime one there was no Mod Drop Booster.
Also was not in the Garuda Prime booster that I bought, which is the active one, so yeah I'm not sure where that one came from.
It was given with atlas prime access when it was just introduced, but that was a one time thing and it was only a 7 day booster.
Works beautifully farming endo i farmed like 2.5k to 3.9k per run with each run 2-4 mins avg
Thats like an anasa each run {almost}
Edit : Max, i could get 3.3k
Add in slash status proc weapons and you can go higher... more body parts to desecrate
How does Hildryn give energy?
I use Voracious metastasis for energy support hildryn
Steel path Vodyanoi with the right frames for endo farm (Khora, nidus, nekros and another nekros) and with this booster equipped can give you an ez 3k endo per run and each run is like 1-2 mins
Only Slash (No Slash proc No Bleeding) for get more endo
And the question when Nidus larva still active can khora cage grab enemy from nidus larva when duration still on?
To answer that question: No. You need to have larva burst on Nidus to release the enemies onto Khora's cage for her effect to kick in. The build I use is max range, max efficiency, Larva Burst, Hunter Adrenaline and Rolling guard. You don't need the health since you should be invisible from one of your team having Void Shadow invisibility.
Too bad, none ingame market place for purchase. I've would have bought one every month with the other monthly booster
ty sortie :)
Np
Does this also work with Avionics?
Yes it does, the game considers Avionics as Mods. Avionics also count for Nightwave challenges where you need to acquire 8 Mods or Rare Mods.
Does this work on containers, not lockers, but orikin/grineer containers? it seems to work as ive got a ton of mods all of a sudden from them since aquiring this
How does this work on enemies like a Feyarch Specter, which seems to drop a mod 100% of the time. Does a mod drop chance booster have no effect?
It does not work. At least not with the Steel Path Mod Booster. I expected that already but since you can get more mods when using Nekros I thought it might be worth a try. Most likely considered like Caches (since it's "Identified" in the end mission screen) and Nekros just has a chance to "open" the "Specter Cache" again.
It only affects the chance to drop an item from the enemy's mod drop table, so enemies with a 100% chance to drop from it are unaffected (even if their mod drops include nothing)
So with this... Does this also affect Railjack Avionics drop? Or is that affected by other booster instead?
The mods you put in the plexus, yes
I got three of these in a row from sorties.
jesus christ you have 3x the chance then
^Nah, they don't stack like that. The booster from sortie or baro only stack in time/duration. You need an Event with the mod booster or Steel Path to stack the chance.
How exactly does this booster work? Does it increase the mod chance from lets say 3% to 6% or does it just increase the chance that a mod will drop from the loot table?
It increases the chance that any mod can drop from an enemy, so the mod drop chance (like from 3% to 6% in your example). It does not increase the individual drop rates of mods.
I assume you meant from a reward table, like a bounty, it would not increase drops there. If you are increasing the overall mod drop chance on an enemy though, the individual mods dropped from that enemy are going to increase. It's their ratio relative to each other that would stay the same.
Does it works on caches ? The wiki says "doubles the chance of mod drops." but I'm not sure if caches are mission rewards
Caches are considered mission awards.
Ty for the answer :) Was hoping farming quicker High Voltage :/
I think It works with kubrow eggs. i did 5 runs solo, no eggs, then i did a few with my gf who had this booster from sortie, atleast 1 egg every run. 3 runs & 5 eggs so far.
