The Cosmic Clocks are devices created by Albrecht Entrati that can be found scattered throughout the Cambion Drift. A functional Clock can be found in the secret room of the Necralisk, in the Necraloid chamber.
Their current function and purpose are unknown. As you gain ranks with both the
Entrati and Necraloid factions, excerpts of the records from Albrecht's experiments with the Void will be revealed at stations around the Clock's perimeter. The excerpts are titled after each of the eight Requiem Words.
Multiple Clocks can be found throughout the Cambion Drift, such as behind Otak in the Necralisk and scattered throughout the Isolation Vaults, although they are all broken and non-functional. From this, it can be inferred that the Cosmic Clock in the Necraloid chamber may be the only functional one left. Following the activation of The Kalymos Sequence during Whispers in the Walls, this Cosmic Clock suddenly begins a counter-clockwise rotation before erupting in a pillar of Void energy. The Clock then collapses in on itself, fusing with nearby Ayatan, before plunging into the Void below. This action triggers Albrecht Entrati's long-sealed laboratories to unlock, seemingly at the cost of the Cosmic Clock.

Needs to be updated after Whispers update
I feel like its a bad sign when something called a "cosmic clock" collapses in on itself.
And yet that's exactly what happens in Whispers in the Walls supposedly to act as a key to open up access to the Necralisk's lower levels.
I just noticed something interesting about the Cosmic Clock. Throughout the Entrati ruins, you can often seen areas where one of the Requiem glyphs are glowing (an example is at the base of the large column at the bottom of the stairs in Mother's room). I've noticed that it always shows the same symbol: Lohk. In other parts of the ruins you can see these symbols too, and it's always Lohk. The Cosmic Clock has always (to my knowledge) pointed at Lohk as well.
Perhaps there is a sort of Requiem "cycle" that occurs, and we will learn more about this cycle in the Duviri Paradox? From what it looks like, Lohk is the last in the cycle, and that could be the driving force for the plot of the Duviri Paradox (assuming that the clock doesn't just jump all the way to Xata like, ya know, a clock lol)
Lohk just means "void"
Could also be referring to the text "From brooding gulfs are we beheld by that which bears no name." - The man in the wall, as known by Albrecht Entrati "That Which Bears No Name (by Albrecht Entrati)"
Stalked by tmitw itself 24/7
While listening to the Lohk log, I was hearing a sound that was reminiscent of the sound made in Ordis Fragments when you're about to find the hidden audio file. Could there be one?
oh boy im sure glad i know what sort of device the cosmic clock is
it look like somthing that could becam relevant in a later patch.
may be a far later patch. ( duviri at update 32 ? )
for the moment, i admire the precision. "it is a device".
Can we be sure about that?
We don't know at all.
But lot of things seams to link Duviri to Necraloid. (the ?portal in Isolation Vault, the story of the requiems,...)
And we don't know when Duviri will be. it can be the update 29.2 or the update 35 .
For what it's worth, the massive "Orokin Worm" seen in the Duviri teaser has been spotted flying around in the vault mirrors, so there's probably a connection there.
