Tellurium is a rare component dropped primarily by Archwing enemy units, though it may also be dropped by enemies encountered in the Grineer Sealab tileset on nodes that contain the tag Submersible. Can also be awarded as a daily login bonus.
Tellurium was added in Hotfix 15.7.2 (2014-12-19).
Acquisition[]
- Rare drop from enemy units in Empyrean (including warframe sections), Archwing, Grineer Sealab missions and Kuva Fortress Assault missions.
- Tellurium is available from Resource Caches in Grineer Reactor Sabotage missions, as well as the Kuva Fortress' Assault mission.
- Since Warframe abilities cannot be used in Archwing missions, taking a frame with looting abilities such as Nekros into a submersible mission such as Ophelia is likely to yield superior results.

Trivia[]
- Tellurium (symbol: Te) is the 52nd element in the periodic table. Its in-game description alludes to the fact that Tellurium is believed to be more common in the universe than it is on Earth.
- In real life, Tellurium is silver-white in color as opposed to red.
- Some of the applications for Tellurium include Alloy Metallurgy, Semi-Conductors and Laser Optics. The latter may explain the Itzal's stealth mechanics and laser drones (as both Tellurium and the Itzal were introduced in the same update).
- It is currently one of the few resources that still uses the generic resource container model.
- Smokefinger believes that the Orokin used Tellurium in the construction of Void gates.
- The word Tellurium is from the Latin tellūs, tellūr-, earth (by contrast with uranium, under a conception of the latter as an element of the heavens because of its being named after the planet Uranus).

Just run something like octavia, saryn or limbo, anything which has crowd control on Ophelia. ez pz.
After a 23 min run no drops
It's just ridiculous RNG. Khora with strangledome augment, smeeta kavat, 40 minute run, nothing. Try again, same loadout, get a 2x drop within 1:30.
65min Ophelia SP Solo with Khora (pilfering) and Smeeta
Resource+Resource Chance boosters + Resource Blessing
64 Tellurium
Same boosters and blessing with 3x runs on Salacia SP Solo got me 2 Tellurium total.
Didn't test Railjack Survival but in an earlier try without Resource Booster but with Blessing + Chance Booster got 4 in 20mins with same Khora and Smeeta.
30 mins Ophelia SP
2 resources boosters
=> 26 tellerium
1 hour in Ophelia SP with Nekros + smeeta, no boosters = 8 drops
20 minutes in Steel Path Ophelia with a Pilfering Swarm Hydroid and a Resource Drop chance booster, 7 drops of tellurium.
Same it felt really great with how quickly they dropped on SP. Helps that Hydroid can handle SP pretty easily, all the corrosive damage removes armor, viral on his 1 with the augment and the loot tentacles also crowd control when you feel overwhelmed.
Steel path Ophelia Uranus with Hydroid and augment + smeeta...3 drops in 30 min.
Looks like sushi
Sushi it is.
Sushi it is.
Sushi, is it?
Sushi it is.
Ophelia - Uranus, Steel Path, no boosters, no Relay bufs.
13 in 50 mintues. That was Khora+Nekros for 4k kills.
Just did a few railjack missions and it seems to be a better place now to farm tellurium. I did Orphix mission and survival got 16 in few rounds with booster. Hope that helps. Have a good one!
+1
Can confirm, I have 50+ after just a few days of doing random RJ missions on and off
Ophelia, Steel Path, Resource Drop Chance BLESSING (not a booster so +25%), Resource booster
Nothing else, no Khora, Nekros, Hydroid, nothing
16 in total in 30 mintues, 2 were right after booster ended (ofc) so 9 drops in total
At least I didn't get completely shafted like some poeple said they did so I'm happy.
Utter bs

Chance of getting this from the 30-50 Bounty on Fortuna/Orb Vallis is 27% overall.
As a relatively new player (just hit 100 days) farming Tellurium has been a pain. I was unable to take advantage of the spare parts methods since I was unware of the method and it was changed with the recent update. Most consistent method to farm for me is using Hydroid and the Pilfering Swarm augment from New Loka (and maybe Cephalon Suda?) on Ophelia. Have not tried Khora with augment, or been in a group with Nekros or know if Smeeta helps but for me using Hydroid with the augment seems to drop Tellurium. Don’t know if resource boosters and/drop chance booster stack with Hydroid. Good luck farming.
I've done a bunch of 20 minute survivals and haven't seen any, why did they have to kill the only way to farm this
After the Abyss of Dagath update, the Spare Parts cheese no longer works. Any ideas what the new best way to farm Tellurium is?
I never went out of my way to farm this resource and I have 90 of it in my inventory. For what reason do people need so much of this that they feel the spare parts cheese was required?
Ofc a mf would search up tellurium on wiki and have 90 of em.
Because a lot of BPs require it, not even counting the cosmetics it's still a lot. And you might have enough, but not every player does the same thing in the game, so one might have a lot from resource A and less from B, and a different player will have no A and a lot of B. Personally I do barely any of the missions this drops from, I do basically everything else but them currently.
He probably a vegan too
This is the resource that is making me shelf the game after 6+ years. 1 hour+ of Archwing defense for 1 drop. This game makes me feel like a fool and a loser and I'm done. Gonna uninstall and go play something fun.
Were you running both resource drop boosters
No more spare parts... What a pain

Protea's augment, the repair dispensary, makes grinding this a breeze when combined with spare parts. is it boring? yes. is it easy as fuck? also yes.
Patched
Really easy, got around 20 in 10 minutes with khora and nekros
Lend me some or help me get some asap bruv at Ayakaayakaayaka#691

Hey "Really easy" charm, WHERE 20 in 10 min? You forgot the most important part, unless it's the usual BS need attention stuff.
