Gathering Tips[]
These are based on opinions and may not be true. These should be viewed as advice unless proven undoubtedly true. Check comments for confirmation. Results may vary. Please note each of the tips below is a subjective average, and may not necessarily represent your experiences.
- Plato (Lua) guarantees a spawn of Sentients within the first couple of minutes. This is the most effective way of farming Neurodes, but bring a party, as Sentients do prove difficult.
- Playing the assassination node of Lephantis (Magnacidium on Deimos) is one of the easiest ways to acquire Neurodes (1-2 average every run).
- Newer players might find it helpful to search missions in Earth for Neuroptic Masses, the resource container for Neurodes. The chance for enemies to drop Neurodes is very low, making it worth spending time to search for the containers instead.
- Sentient fighters spawning on Lua have a relatively high chance of dropping Neurodes (can be accessed upon completing The Second Dream quest).
- Eris survivals and defense (including Dark Sectors) do NOT yield many Neurodes, about 1 for every 20 minutes/waves.

- The singular form of Neurodes is Neurodes, according to the game.
- The descriptions of Neural Sensors and Neurodes were swapped several times, at one point completely reversing what the components clearly were. This was finally reverted in Hotfix 15.16.2 (2015-03-11) to properly fit their obvious designs.
- In computing, Neurodes (likely a portmanteau of neuron and node) serve as the building blocks of artificial neural networks.
- Prior to the removal of Trials, a reusable Neurodes blueprint could be acquired as a reward from The Law of Retribution Nightmare Raid.

Wtf I got like 300 without even trying. And in short time too.
Farm for Voruna guys. Stick around until 20 minutes then dip and restart. You will not only get Neurodes, but enough Lua Thrax Plasms or blueprints for Voruna and her weapons. Also some cool arcanes.
Definitely use Nekros. doubled drop chance, for life support (its a survival tileset) and neurodes, as well as Lua Thrax Plasm.
Any other farming methods seem like a joke now... I dont know just how do I use all these Neurodes

Thanks! I've got around 15 in a single run with only three people in 20 minutes.
My fastest and easiest way to obtain this resource is going on Lua and bringing Ivara. The sentients will always drop 1 neurode and when you kill them. they have another chance of dropping another one. Per mission I yield 10-18 neurodes.
You passively get hundreds of these while farming for Voruna. Its basically a Lua survival node where you are expected to stay until 20 minutes for Voruna loot table, as well as repeating it a lot for enough currency to buy Voruna. You will have hundreds or even thousands without trying
Neuroptic Mass do spawn in Mariana, Earth.

Eris Dark Sector Survival: 25 mins, nekros, amalgam ripkas(gore chance), 1 neurode, 1 mutagen sample, 800 plastids. Don't even bother.
Why wouldn't you make the higher level missions have higher drops for rare resources, DE? Couldn't be bothered? Perhaps.
Now drops like cake if you farm for Voruna. Since it is a survival tileset, you want to bring Nekros for life support, which coincidentally also helps for Neurodes
Nekros only has a 65% dr and the way his loot works is : 1 energy/health orb then loot re-roll. If you farming loot then Hyrdoid with pilfering swarm combined with a nekro works or nekro and khora with pilfering strangle dome. but just nekro and you'll be sol unfortunately
Earth Fissure nodes are a great and reliable place to get these, as your entire squad will be exploding the map and everything they see anyways. A good run will be 3-4 minutes, and you'll also get Void Traces & Prime Parts.
I was actually so poor on this that I always had 0 or 1 pcs at hand. But suddenly without really noticing it I have now 100+ lol. Maybe because I was doing a bunch of isolation vaults/Cenotes(the random pit in iso vaults) for necramech mods
Mariana on Earth : there is always 2 deposits and one of them holds 2 units making a total of 3 for each run. The mission, your pet does it for you while you search for the neurodes. I've farmed more than 100 neurodes and still on it. Could take up to 4 mints for newbies like me each run.
Note: I have done it once in 2mints because I found both deposits straight away. For all the runs I've done, no more than 2 deposits found in all map.
Where are the deposits
I don't think the sealab spawns neurodes, I've always found them easily in e-prime (forest tileset), just yesterday found 6 of them while taking a MR2 for a neurode hunt.
It does but personally only run into 1 deposit per run.
None of you will have neurodes shortage if DE allowed fissures to pop up in Deimos

I have played Mariana on Earth a few times and can confirm I've found at least 1 Neuroptic Mass in each run
I never get any on that one, I just played through some missions I hadn't done and got 1 per mission, which is more than on three runs on Mariana
Get a codex scanner and scan the whole area or just get helios pet
Im not sure tycho lua is a good place to farm for neurodes, someone might need to change that. Farmed for 30 minutes and didnt get a single neurode and i had resource booster on with nekros too.

Lephantis is a pretty good farm with a resource booster. Loot Limbo, basic Pyrana P., and you get about 1-2 neurodes every 6 minute run.
Max e mirage with meta primary gets u 2:30 to 3 min runs
Cervante earth is pretty good. I got 5 neurodes once.
Easily the best farm in the game right now. I can vouch for this as it gave me at least 1 node, ususally 2 or 3 per 4-5 Min. run. Far more efficiant then any of the areas listed above.

You only don't have them when you really need them and that's in the beginning. After everything gets crafted.. it becomes another stockpile.
Mariana, Earth is good for early Neurodes, its exterminate on a small map, quite linear. Each run is approx 5mins and 0-3 neurodes per run without any boosters. (Averaging 0.75 or so?)

I just did a few Hive Sabotage and Extermination on Eris. Without really trying, just going around, completing the mission and smashing the resources along the way, I made 15 neurodes (between 3 and 5 per mission), and that was without even using Nekros, just regular Mesa. Don't bother with any other method.
I just did the Orokin Derilect Survival for about 40 min, only got 1 neurode, like did DE decrese the farm sites just out of spite????
Thats just handout server being borked.
Correction, they should be removed from the table entirely.
